Quality Inn US65 & E. Battlefield Rd. Springfield

The breakfast was a joke. All the hot food was cold and undercooked. Very few choices. Glad it was included because there is no way I would have paid for this.

The key system did not work well for a number of guests. The desk attendant had to bust our room door open with her shoulder as it stuck. There was an odd smell. The bedspread had stains on it and was shabby. The bathroom shower had good water flow but the bathroom was very shabby overall with outdated fixtures from probably around early 1980. Breakfast was mediocre. The room did not look at all like the one in the photo. The only good thing I can say is that the desk attendant was nice and the mattress was comfy. Should be priced at about $65-75 per night as it was basically a very low quality property.

Breakfast could be lot better

I will not be staying at this property again ! It is literally falling apart ! The balcony for the second floor is being worked on (at least it was propped up by 2x4s and plywood. The work area was not even sectioned off from the public ! People could walk underneath the construction! Also the attitude of the front desk personnel needs work !!

THEY CALLED THE POLICE!! Very nice, rated 5 on my ck in, when I paid them direct for a second night. Called twice to tell to ashtray in the room. They couldn't hear me on the phone. Noticed that night "no smoking" sign on door. Next AM found ash tray in coffee pot tray. Went to desk next AM to get late ck out for that night and (different lady) was instantly rude with a non-welcoming aura, saying "Well, you're already ckd out!" What? She insisted as if why are we still there?! I said, well, we're here, we paid for it yesterday. She finally saw the first lady put us for 2 days later (now the next day). This lady finally fixed it, and gave us new keys. Next AM, phone rings at 9 AM! I answered twice. She couldn't here, Then, banging on the door! First day lady said we didn't pay!! Rude!! I said we'd pay after we packed. Drove around to pay and COPS PULLED UP!! Seriously?! Paid. Turned to cop and said, I'm a DOCTOR!. He grinned, acknowledging she was a numbskull. He said you're free to go. And to think, I rated her a 5 at ck in, and was afraid for her getting into trouble having us smoke in a NS room. You get what you pay for I guess. WILL NEVER GO BACK, will gladly pay $$ to stay anywhere else!!
