The parking lot was not the easiest, kind of small with not the greatest exit/entrance. Disappointed that the pool was closed, didn’t realize when I booked it that it was an outside pool.

Top of the microwave furniture was full of dust. Would have been nice if there was free breakfast available. Other than that I enjoyed that there were restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed having the opportunity to wash my clothes before being back on the road but it was a struggle to get a chance because there is just one dryer and one washer.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was very open, clean, and comfortable. The pool was open, bar was open and breakfast was wonderful. My favorite was the beds. They were sooo comfortable, like I am gonna start booking with this chain more just because the beds are so comfortable.

Redressed the bed and before we could leave, saw another larger one. My sons and daughters were with me in two other rooms. I didn’t want to risk any of us carrying bugs home with us or being bitten. My family and I opted to leave. I used a cup to catch the two we saw and notify the desk attendant. She was very apologetic and told us the floor had recently been treated because management had been notified other guests on the same floor on other occasions had reported finding them. I asked for a refund and she said since it was booked through Expedia, the hotel could not issue the refund. Expedia would have to issue the refund.

It wasn't a cheap stay so I expected a lot more cleanness. When i arrived the bathroom floor were full with another guest's hair which really made me mad since it wasn't cheap. The lady on the afternoon was pretty nice but the guy early in the morning was very unkind and rude. Supposed to be a nice hotel but the cleanness ws terrible

Fresh blood in my pillow that seeped through to the pillowcase and on sheet. Various other unknown stains on bedding. Shower gel dispensers were empty. After 1st night was moved to a different room. Unknown stains on those sheets, dried snot on one wall, carpet had large white stain on it of unknown origin. Dirty hotel. Pretty sure there are bed bugs too as we both have bites on us. Management didnt seem bothered. I consider for nearly $200 a night, you could expect a higher standard. If i hadnt had such a long drive home, i would have left straight away!

Breakfast was delicious! Staff were very nice. Hotel surroundings were so loud and we could hear everything going on around our rooms. There was a train that went by and blew its horn multiple times every time it went by. There was what we believed to be feces splattered on the ceiling in our washroom. Our shower had a huge crack down the wall about 3 feet long. The shower faucets were very run down. The shampoo and body wash dispenser only dispensed enough shampoo to wash a mouse’s head. The hotel worked in a pinch to give us a place to sleep for our commute to Florida but it’s calling for some TLC.

Room was very dirty. Hair from previous guests was found on tub, floor and in the drawers. Room was also dusty with dust and debris build up along the outside of the bathtub, baseboards and corners of the room and bathroom. The blankets for the pull out sofa were very tattered. I would not stay here again.

We checked in hoping for an east in and out experience. Room was dirty, bathroom disgusting - hair stuck in the washcloth. The bed sheets smelled like wet dog. The hotel itself was fine. The staff was extremely inattentive: 1) called the front desk to ask that someone bring a toilet plunger as the toilet suddenly stopped flushing. 25 minutes later, I finally had to walk down to the front desk and request a plunger again. 2) went down for breakfast in the dining area. Had to loudly hail the attendant, as she had earbuds in and was NOT paying attention to the customers. Would not stay here again.

Long time checking in due to new person at desk who didn’t know much and was not closely supervised. The air conditioner didn’t work very well so my room was hot. Also I paid for an Expedia room that was advertised as “free breakfast” but was told when I went down for breakfast that I had to pay $12.95 per person if we wanted to eat. False advertising. Not happy. I checked out and left.

Started off wIting in lobby along with others while the young lady smoke her cigarette, walked out ask her wss anybody at desk. She lut it iut and check me in around 6 something, went to relax and toilet keep running none stop, and hit water seem like it was never gonna get hot do i left an hr later ,told the same lady thst toilet was irritating but sge was getting off so i tried to check at that moment but she said that since i book thru Expedia and would not be checked out until the 20 August, which i didnt booked thru Expedia but ok i hear left keys and walked out . Never the less this is really the first time i really had a quick disappointed stay hundred plus dollars down the drain went and booked a room at the Marriott delta hotels up the street and had a comfortable stay ... A gd saturday evening turn into a expensive Saturday evening... OVERALL DIDNT ENJOY THE STAY WHICH WAS A 2 HR STAY .. PLEASE FIX HOT WATER AND TOILET FOR THE NEXT GUESS

I booked a room for three nights for my son’s graduation from military boot camp. We learned that we could take him to his next assignment by car and decided to check out early. The hotel would not refund us the money and ignored hotel.com attempt to get a refund for me. They should treat military better than this! I would not stay at this hotel again.

Stayed 13 nights. They clean at their discretion. I was told it was every 3 OR 4 days after I checked in. Ended up cleaning 4 times. Told the front desk we were out of towels 3 times and came back to no clean towels in the evening and had to go down to front desk to get towels myself!!! If I wanted my room cleaned every 3 days and picking up my own towels, I could have stayed at an extended stay for less then half the price.

Stayed 13 nights. They clean at their discretion. I was told it was every 3 OR 4 days after I checked in. Ended up cleaning 4 times. Told the front desk we were out of towels 3 times and came back to no clean towels in the evening and had to go down to front desk to get towels myself!!! If I wanted my room cleaned every 3 days and picking up my own towels, I could have stayed at an extended stay for less then half the price.

Room was mostly clean but tops of lamps & things had bad dust buildup. Shower spray/ pressure was amazing!! Loved the pool area…quiet & relaxing. Enjoyed breakfast but it was mediocre. Some Friendly staff! One thing I didn’t like was the door opened right up to the toilet and right next to bathroom counter so that irritating but overall I give it a 7 out of 10. Good location!

The hotel was very nice and clean they also have a bar if that is your thing. We stayed here because it was convenient to Fort Jackson base and it was about 10 minutes if that.I would recommend this hotel the staff was very friendly and professional.

A very nice place to stay but the hotel feels a bit ‘tired’. Outback Steakhouse is a short walk away so very convenient. Close to the highway so some noice from traffic. A/C unit was a bit noisy.

This property is in a great location near several restaurants, gas stations and sits right near I20 and 77 just north of the property. It was clean, quiet and the front desk attendant was great. I didn't get a chance to get her name, but she was working on Tuesday, 3/4/25 when I checked in at 4:30 pm. I would definitely come back.

Hotel is nice and quiet. But this is the first holiday inn without a free breakfast even though I made a reservation because hotels.com said the breakfast was free. I showed up and they told me that day the breakfast was $12. There’s a Chick-fil-A next door that would be less.

Long time checking in due to new person at desk who didn’t know much and was not closely supervised. The air conditioner didn’t work very well so my room was hot. Also I paid for an Expedia room that was advertised as “free breakfast” but was told when I went down for breakfast that I had to pay $12.95 per person if we wanted to eat. False advertising. Top of the microwave furniture was full of dust. Would have been nice if there was free breakfast available. Other than that I enjoyed that there were restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed having the opportunity to wash my clothes before being back on the road but it was a struggle to get a chance because there is just one dryer and one washer.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was very open, clean, and comfortable. The pool was open, bar was open and breakfast was wonderful. My favorite was the beds. They were sooo comfortable, like I am gonna start booking with this chain more just because the beds are so comfortable.

If I’m going to spend hundreds of dollars why don’t I get FREE breakfast. Everyone is out to get more money. They want to charge $15+ for breakfast. You’re better off going to Waffle House or Chick-Fil-A for that price. Staff at the desk one day seemed like she was inconvenienced for doing her job. I asked for towels and toilet paper. The drains sucked. They drained SUPER slow. This Holiday Inn was a big let down. I will NOT be going through them again. They act like they are a 5 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel at best.

I received information from the Hotels.com site that we would get breakfast for two included in the stay, but when we got to the hotel, they said that each individual would be charged for breakfast. It would not prevent me from staying there again, but it did seem to be misleading.
