This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. It was decorated with gorgeous colonial fabrics and the worn wood floors were buttery smooth. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent cookware that made meal making fun. We found good game choices, enjoyed sitting on the deck to soak up some sun and had fun sitting around the campire in the evening! Great location being close to town but far enough to feel country. Goldilocks made a very nice memory.

I love the fact that our host has put everything one needs to feel @ home. Robes, coffee machine, grinder, all kinds of cooking pots, towels, hair stuff, seasonings, grill etc. You don't have to bring much. Comfy for 2 & puppy, this is our go to cabin.

We had a lovely stay at the goldilocks cabin. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The location is close to everything in Stowe and Waterbury. Since we love cooking, we were pleased to find the kitchen is well-provided with kitchen utensils and pots, exactly as seen in the pictures.The cabin is very cozy and the decoration is amazing, with many goldilocks theme details. The wood-fired stove had already been loaded with firewood, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was well-provided with extra kindling in a nearby basket. We loved how cozy it was to stay near it and even made some hot chocolate on it.If we had to note something it would be that both TVs (the one in the living room and the bedroom) are quite small, and that the living room TV is positioned in a way that makes it quite inconvenient to use. So if you plan on watching movies in the cabin, keep that in mind.That said we had a great stay and definitely recommend the cabin!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Jill's Cabin. Great location right outside of Stowe. So happy that we were able to find a nice place to stay that accepts pup's! The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Jill!

The cabin is absolutely adorable and much larger than it appears in the pictures. We enjoyed making breakfast and a few dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. The dinning room table was the perfect gathering place for board games. The wood stove kept the main room toasty warm and was much appreciated after a day of skiing at Stowe. Jill thoughtfully checked in by message to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything is well laid out and there were helpful instructions for things like TV/cable box and the wood stove. We hope to go back again next year.

Perfect for us & Sheba (our puppy). The cabin had everything we needed, coffee maker & grinder, stove, microwave, etc. The TV was great to get the local & national stations. Our host thought of everything from the utensils, pots & pans, dishware, spices, & other necessities to the towels, bathroom supplies, washer & dryer, storage space & outdoor amenities (grill, deck chairs, firepit...) The cabin was a perfect size for all of us, comfy chairs & sofa, A/C (we didn't need the heat) bed was OK. The road was a bit noisy but inside we couldn't hear anything. We come up almost every year & we will make this place our go-to rental. It was that good.

Staying at the Goldilocks Cabin was an absolute dream! It's such a beautiful and relaxing space in the middle of the forest. It's also super conveniently close to Stowe and the Waterbury Center State Park. We had such a wonderful cozy week at the cabin and enjoyed dining out on the patio as well as laying in the hammock outside. Jill is such a kind, helpful and responsive host. We found the perfect little home away from home location spot - charming cabin a short drive to town where our whole family (my husband, daughter, and our dog) could relax after a day of skiing and sight-seeing. Stowe is a picture postcard around every corner and that includes this sweet cabin. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, it added such a nice touch to the cold winter evenings. Impressed with all the little touches - would indeed return!

This rental was as described - a charming log cabin with scarred wood floors, a woodburning stove and interesting knick knacks. Kitchen was well stocked and there was a grill on the deck for outdoor cooking. Our only complaint was the master bedroom, which smelled musty and needs a deep clean. Stained pillows need to be replaced and all bedding refreshed.

The Goldilocks' Cottage is one of the nicest, and cleanest, places that we have stayed at in Stowe. We loved the hominess of it, the eccentric decor AND, the deer grazing just off the lawn one morning while we enjoyed our coffee on the back deck. A true treasure.

The entire place needs a thorough cleaning. If your design theme is cabin chic and full of knickknacks, you have to make sure everything is dusted and washed periodically. The drapery and upholstery definitely needs a heavy cleaning. We discovered dried bloodstains on one of the bedsheets. There was a heavy musty smell, the only way to move air around was using the window units. But when we turned them on they greeted us with dust. Turns out their filters were extremely dirty. The bedroom is very dark and the wallpaper and dim lamps don't help. The property also needs some structural work as the floor is unstable and sinks in several places. I think the property is typical of this area nowadays, being managed remotely via a housekeeping service that doesn't do a job they might if the owner checked regularly, and it shows.

Goldilocks Cottage was a relaxing cabin for our week in Stowe. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grounds were well kept. When my wife and I arrived at Goldilocks Cabin, we stepped through the doorway and found ourselves in a delightful, storybook setting with all of the modern conveniences! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in the cottage. The cottage was immaculate and well-appointed. Jill was easy to work with and reached out to see if we had any questions and/or needed anything. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the Fall. We loved how it was so close to downtown Stowe but not right in town The decor of the cabin was very charming we loved the attention to detail that the owner used in decorating. It felt very cozy. We look forward to another stay in the future.

Jill's Goldilocks Cabin is very well situated, a short drive to many awesome hikes, including Mt Mansfield as well as Burlington. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend at the end of the winter season and were dazzled by the charm and decor this place offered. It had everything we needed to enjoy and relax including a wood stove. There was always something new to discover in every nook & cranny. Like Goldilocks, you have to be a bit curious and snoop around to find all of the amenities tucked away in cabinets and drawers. Jill was a wonderful host and checked in on us via message the day after we arrived to check that we were all set, and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this Vrbo for a couple or family with 1 or 2 children who can climb into the tall loft.

We had one issue with the water, but the host and maintenance guy took care of it right away. It's a very charming and rustic little cabin. The kitchen was well equipped, and well maintained.

What a fantastic stay. The Cabin was so cute and cozy, and in such a convenient location. It was a mile from Main St. Stowe. Instead of Stowe Mt, we skied Bolton Valley, which was a 20 minute drive. The wood burning stove was just right on cold nights. Kitchen well appointed. Bed super comfy. Owner was very responsive. We will stay again!

Cabin was very comfortable, well decorated. We felt very secluded yet we were a 5 min drive from downtown. Jill was great with communication before and during our stay. Great place to stay if you’re skiing or otherwise.

Jill is a fantastic host and very responsive to questions. Her property is even better than the pictures! The cabin is just a couple minutes from Stowe Village and a short drive to Mount Mansfield. It is perfect for a couple or young family. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Staying at the Goldilocks Cabin was an absolute dream! It's such a beautiful and relaxing space in the middle of the forest. It's also super conveniently close to Stowe and the Waterbury Center State Park. We had such a wonderful cozy week at the cabin and enjoyed dining out on the patio as well as laying in the hammock outside. Jill is such a kind, helpful and responsive host. Thank you so much for this amazing experience! :)

When my wife and I arrived at Goldilocks Cabin, we stepped through the doorway and found ourselves in a delightful, storybook setting with all of the modern conveniences! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in the cottage. The cottage was immaculate and well-appointed. Jill was easy to work with and reached out to see if we had any questions and/or needed anything. This was a perfect home for a quick weekend getaway for some skiing at Stowe and Jay Peak. Great location, you can walk into downtown Stowe if you want. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. About 20 minutes to Stowe, maybe less. The home had everything you need if you want to cook and stay in. We will certainly be coming back again. Thank you very much!

Goldilocks Cottage was a relaxing cabin for our week in Stowe. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grounds were well kept. The location was great for the activities we planned, and it was comfortable to cook and eat at home in the evening. There was a quiet 2mile loop to walk each morning.

Jill's Goldilocks Cabin is very well situated, a short drive to many awesome hikes, including Mt Mansfield as well as Burlington. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.

This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. It was decorated with gorgeous colonial fabrics and the worn wood floors were buttery smooth. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent cookware that made meal making fun. We found good game choices, enjoyed sitting on the deck to soak up some sun and had fun sitting around the campire in the evening! Great location being close to town but far enough to feel country. Goldilocks made a very nice memory.

I love the fact that our host has put everything one needs to feel @ home. Robes, coffee machine, grinder, all kinds of cooking pots, towels, hair stuff, seasonings, grill etc. You don't have to bring much. Comfy for 2 & puppy, this is our go to cabin.

We had a lovely stay at the goldilocks cabin. It was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The location is close to everything in Stowe and Waterbury. Since we love cooking, we were pleased to find the kitchen is well-provided with kitchen utensils and pots, exactly as seen in the pictures.The cabin is very cozy and the decoration is amazing, with many goldilocks theme details. The wood-fired stove had already been loaded with firewood, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was well-provided with extra kindling in a nearby basket. We loved how cozy it was to stay near it and even made some hot chocolate on it.If we had to note something it would be that both TVs (the one in the living room and the bedroom) are quite small, and that the living room TV is positioned in a way that makes it quite inconvenient to use. So if you plan on watching movies in the cabin, keep that in mind.That said we had a great stay and definitely recommend the cabin!

The cabin is absolutely adorable and much larger than it appears in the pictures. We enjoyed making breakfast and a few dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. The dinning room table was the perfect gathering place for board games. The wood stove kept the main room toasty warm and was much appreciated after a day of skiing at Stowe. Jill thoughtfully checked in by message to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything is well laid out and there were helpful instructions for things like TV/cable box and the wood stove. We hope to go back again next year.

What a fantastic stay. The Cabin was so cute and cozy, and in such a convenient location. It was a mile from Main St. Stowe. Instead of Stowe Mt, we skied Bolton Valley, which was a 20 minute drive. This is true but the wording was cleverly phrased to not mention the fact that it’s directly on a main road, which feels misleading. There is room for improvement as far as cleanliness goes and I’d be happy to provide more information if desired. Nonetheless the cabin was unique in its decor, had stainless steel cookware and the wood burning stove was set up nicely to enjoy. All of these factors made it cozy and that was appreciated.
