The front desk people were wonderful!! However the hotel is under construction, which I understand but the pool wasn't operational, the TV didn't work, the Wi-Fi was spotty at best and the room just looked runned down. But grateful they allowed pets

My stay was ok, clean room and my bed was as comfortable as a four or five star hotel. I didn’t make it to the free breakfast so I can’t comment but I did want to swim and I actually forgot to call ahead of time to find out if the pool was open or closed and it was closed but looks like they were working on repairs. Once the pool is opened I’ll return becuz for the price and just staying over night was worth the price.

The hotel has many rooms and are outside instead of all in a building. The room was good. But minor wear and tear. They're remodeling the outside pool which I didn't expect on a Saturday but other than that it was a good stay.

I’ve stayed in many hotels too include this chain. It was not my best experience. The towels were dirty and one of them looked like it had feces on it. The ice maker did not work. The coffee was cold at breakfast. The lock on the door didn’t work and someone tried to get into the room in the middle of the night.

I did not enjoy my stay at all. The door wouldn’t lock. The bathroom door looked like a dog chewed through it. The chipping in the bath tub looked like poop. The remote for the television didn’t work properly. The sheets were badly stained. Overall, not impressed.

The room smelled weird, the lamp had wonky switches and kept turning on until we disconnected it. Shower was disgusting, dirty, cracked & shower curtain and towels were dingy. Sheets did not feel or smell clean. We had to go buy sheets to place on top of bedding and then buy blankets to sleep with.

A very distinct smell when you open the door. Bed and room were clean, though. Bed is pretty worn and sinks in the middle a lot. Tub was stained up some and the toilet hardly had any water pressure to it and literally took 10 seconds to flush and you had to hold the handle down the whole time. Breakfast isn't much. Typical yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, and just waffles for hot food. WiFi never worked for me either. Even the girl working the front desk told me the place wasn't good when I checked in and she wasn't wrong.

Upon check in we realized that our room was backed up to a train track and the train shook the room and was so loud there was no sleeping. We were going to suck it up until we saw the shower. No thank you! We were there an hour and we have requested a refund over and over again. Not only did they not give us a refund, they have charged us another $59 for who knows what! Do not stay here!

It took forever to check in but it was hotel.com fault. Parking was fine and room was clean. The problem was the bed! It looked as though a crater fell right in the center. If you didn’t hold on to the edge, you would roll down to be in the middle of this hole. EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE to try and stay out of hole that consumed the majority of the bed.

Decent hotel for the price and outstanding service. The man at the front desk in the evenings is great, if theres any issues with your reservation or room he will do anything he can to help. Even seen him single handedly handle a lobby full of complaints and situations and mange to resolve every single issue and keep everyone happy all at once. I dont recall his name but if the middle aged man that runs the hotel in the evenings is on shift you can rest assured your stay will be perfect.

The hotel room was in need of minor repairs. The area around the hotel was trashy and the trash cans were overflowing. The lady at the front desk was cranky. There were some women running around day and night from room to room in the same hardly there clothing which made us question their professions. People were running up and down in front of the rooms screaming at all hours. On the up side there was good water pressure and the bed was comfortable.

We had a nice clean room, the only thing that would've made it better was to have two queen beds instead of full size and a bigger restroom area. The breakfast was good but there wasn't any type of juice available. I will definitely recommend this place.

Great place to get a nights sleep when working on the road. Room was clean, Shower was hot, Bed was comfortable. What more do you need. Food was decent.

Pillow casas not clean. Staff said someome would bring clean ones but never did. Breakfast was lacking. This location used to have a good breakfast with eggs, sausage & gravy & biscuits but nomore. Only has waffles cereal & muffins & fruit. I will never stay at this La Quinta again.

the room they provided was not comfortable and smelled like a smokers den. even after initially notifying staff, they did not give us an option to change rooms. the pool was very nice but the room was terrible. the shower water started backing up after 3 minutes of being inside. and the fan in the bathroom was so loud. the breakfast was decent.

I’ve stayed in many hotels too include this chain. It was not my best experience. The towels were dirty and one of them looked like it had feces on it. The ice maker did not work. The coffee was cold at breakfast. The lock on the door didn’t work and someone tried to get into the room in the middle of the night.

Had to leave due to the smell of the room, front desk switched our room but smell worse than the last room. We checked out the same day and stayed at a different hotel instead.

The two positives about this property were the really kind front desk staff, and the very brightly lit parking lot. I chose this as a solo female because the Expedia bullet point said It was recommended by solo travelers. Whoever they are, I'd say they're not solo women! The building is in disrepair on the outside, and the rooms felt clean-ish. The pool was green and had trash floating in it. The property did not feel solo-female safe at all though, and I locked myself in the room at 6pm with my dog and didn't open the door again until I left at 6am. There were two men right outside my door talking loudly for an hour about scary sad things and I have never felt more unsafe. I would have left if I was brave enough to open the door after they stopped talking. I slept with the lights on and my dog was on alert all night. This hotel may function fine and well for oil field workers or someone else but I cannot say enough that this is not a place for a solo female traveler. I had booked another night in a month but I cancelled it from the room and hopefully Expedia and the hotel can refund my money. If not I will eat the cost as a loss because I will not return.

The property is very dated on the outside. Some of the doors paint is peeling. Stairs look like they may collapse anytime The room we had was in need of a complete gut & remodel. Air conditioner needs replacing. Need new wiring & more updated plugs. The need was not comfortable. It had a great size frig & freezer. A table to sit at. We did not eat breakfast. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Don't think I'd stay again unless rooms got remodeled.
