Staff members were courtesy and provided prompt service. Stayed here several times and every time same results. A/C units blows ice! The grounds are meticulous and she rooms are just as spotless. Had the good channels too! Honey buns, muffins, croissants with coffee or juice for breakfast. Will be back!

first off there 3 carpets in the room...the water in shower you couldnt get the temp right..they had a so called breakfast,the bed was hard and sat on a tin frame that popped when you lay on it..there was no coffee pot or hair dryer for the wife..no HBO

The bedspreads were torn and worn. The property was tired. The outlets over the bed did not work. The remote to the TV was filthy. We didn’t have a good night sleep and I like continental breakfast the next morning. Overall, we got what we paid.

The person behind the counter was nice, but I’m surprised by the high rating of this place. I can tell the owners have tried updating things but it’s still very run down. The knob to the hot water in the shower was broken, almost all the hot water came out from the knob instead of the faucet, making for a cold shower. Towels were in poor condition and the counters and mirrors were as well. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring. If the bed had at least been decent I would have said this is an okay place for a cheap nights rest in between destinations but it wasn’t restful. In the morning we found a dead roach in the middle of the room. The area around the inn was very nice and it did feel safe. Just know you get what you pay for here.

Arrived at midnight to hotel. Terrible customer service. No greeting, no clear communication directly with customer. Non-smoking room smelled cigarette. Checked into different room. Bed sheets had stains, and cigarette burned holes. Bathroom tub faucet didn’t shut off, and keeps dripping. Only 1 thin blanket available in room, and it is not enough to keep you warm in cold weather. Turning on heat high is the only way to keep you & room warm. I would not recommend this cheap hotel.

Check in staff polite, I should have been suspicious when he asked if I would be ok on 2nd floor. No I said,I prefer 1st floor. I didn't want to carry suitcases up stairs. Room initially just looked shabby but I was tired long day on the road. Didn't even turn on the toilet/shower light. Towels are dingy. Sheets ok. In the morning I started the shower only to find the shower curtain was only partially attached and there was a dried previously used wash cloth that wasn't mine. Yuck! Shower ceiling had visable repairs still in process. Repairs needed on wall by shower rod. My rate was nonrefundable so I stayed. No bugs that was a positive, free wifi

The attendant was very kind and accommodating to our needs, and arranged for us to have a room on the ground floor, and handicap accessible due to my husband being disabled and having to use a cane to walk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. We stayed one night passing through and would stay there again if we're ever in the area and need to stop for the night.

The motsl was right off I20, so it was a good place to stay to pass on thru to my final destination. It was listed on Expedia as pet friendly, but there was a no pet sign, so we snuck our Chihuahua into the room.

first off there 3 carpets in the room...the water in shower you couldnt get the temp right..they had a so called breakfast,the bed was hard and sat on a tin frame that popped when you lay on it..there was no coffee pot or hair dryer for the wife..no HBO

The bedspreads were torn and worn. The property was tired. The outlets over the bed did not work. The remote to the TV was filthy. We didn’t have a good night sleep and I like continental breakfast the next morning. Overall, we got what we paid.

We had two rooms—one for my husband and me and one for our four children, aged 17-21. It’s the middle of July in the Deep South, so we were looking forward to getting out of the heat into our rooms. However, when we entered the rooms, the a/c was not on. The rooms were stifling and had a strong sewage-smell. We turned on the a/c but the rooms didn’t properly cool down for several hours. In the morning, there was a pool of water underneath the a/c unit, right where I’d put my suitcase. The ice machine produced about a cup of ice cubes, and then stopped working entirely. When my daughter pulled the bedspread down, she found holes apparently burned into the sheets, and stains on the pillowcases. The sewage smell grew stronger throughout the night and woke me several times. I took a shower in the morning, and when I noticed the water wasn’t draining, I swiped my foot over the drain and found a clump of hair. I grabbed a towel after my shower and it had several large, dark stains on it. Thankfully, there was another towel that appeared cleaner that I used. This motel was priced right for our large, road-tripping family, but for all the issues I mentioned, it was not worth it.

Didn't know what to expect as this was a mom and pop. I had so many bad experiences with mid level chains I was frustrated and decided to try this. It was awesome. Lady at the desk was nice and the property was clean, well maintained, and the room was equally nice. I felt like I was going back in time when these roadside places served us. If it wasn't a bit out of the way for me, I would book every trip there.
