An absolute must if you are looking for somewhere to unplug and relax while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. This resort exceeded our expectations in service, accommodation and experience especially during their quiet season. Service: The staff is incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. Truly felt like a 5-star experience. Rooms: Beautifully decorated, clean, and wonderful views. Amenities: Pool is stunning (dont forget the beach chairs as well), gym is limited and gets the job done, and we looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread every morning (plus a view out to the ocean). The spa is also a really nice opportunity to unwind even more. Location: The resort is tucked away in a resort area, but Sciacca is ~10 min away by car and has great restaurants, stores + shopping. Overall, would come back here every year for holiday! Giordy and the whole reception team were wonderful.

I'm a diamond Hilton guy with lots of time booked @ IHG and Marriott properties that travels extensively in my career globally. We stayed here with friends and family as a wrap up event behind a full week of travel throughout Sicily visiting all of the major cities & sites, then time in Contessa Entellina for an ancestral pilgrimage. The facilities, pools, beach, spa and staff were all exceptional. We had a lovely stay in early October 2025. Our Junior Suite was amazing, large, appeared to have been recently updated, and had a fantastic view. The staff were lovely, despite the occasional language barrier. Pros: - Recently renovated pool area and breakfast area - Very relaxing adults only calm beach area with bar - Lovely private white sand beach area - Incredible room - Amazing breakfast selection + view Areas for improvement: - Lacl of streamlined way to order room service or make requests (not sure if because of off-season) - Bed was quite uncomfortable - Resort restaurants are unfortunately overpriced and shuttles to the local town are limited to daytime only (not sure if because of off-season) - €5 for fresh beach towels is just eco-friendly gone mad We were fortunate enough to get an off-peak price and were very satisfied with our stay but can see how the improvement areas we have listed may have had a greater impact on our overall impression had we paid a peak price.

Our stay at the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort was an absolute delight and a genuinely pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, and we will certainly be back again. The staff were truly extraordinary, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our entire trip. A special thank you must go to Paulo, who looked after us at the pool restaurant with such wonderful service. The facilities were equally impressive. We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. The food was consistently delicious, offering a fantastic culinary experience every day. The on-site spa was also incredible, featuring a variety of experiential areas and a massage staff who were excellent at their craft. In short, the entire resort was a wonderful surprise. Great staff, great hotel, great breakfast, great venue, quiet and safe. This is ideal for adult. They have a thermal swimming pool and sulfur water from the volcanoes and I highly recommend it. Great Price and quality.

Fantastisk beliggenhed! Morgenmaden og udsigten får 6 stjerner ud af 5. Rengøring hver dag og endda også om aftenen med lidt ekstra håndklæder, lidt chokolade og en hilsen på hovedpuden. Personalet i receptionen kunne ikke så godt engelsk og vi havde udfordringer med at booke padelbaner fordi det viste sig at der var en Camp den uge vi var der. Men vi fik aftentider hvad var godt i varmen. Spaen kan anbefales at prøves, vi havde en dag gratis adgang. Stranden er 5 min gang, der er gratis transport fra hotellet men det brugte vi ikke. Stranden er lækker, dejligt vand og ikke mange mennesker. Du har et afgrænset område som gæst hvor der er solstole og kun hotelgæster. Vi brugte ikke poolen så meget.

What an AMAZING place to stay! The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Sciacca. It is built into the Cliff side so you start on floor zero and go down to floor -6 for the pool. All of the staff is incredible and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and every room has an ocean view. Down on the bottom floor is an indoor & outdoor pool (with a bar and food service). 2 beaches: Calm Beach (adults only and Rocky) and main beach which is sandy and is much larger and has specific chairs for guests with umbrellas. They also have kayaks & SUPs that you can use for free. The ocean was crystal clear & the water was refreshing. There is a train that will take you down to the beach and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. 3 restaurants on site: a sushi restaurant, a pizzeria and a traditional Sicilian restaurant. The menus are all slightly limited, so check the menus before booking your reservations. We ended up going to Sciacca for 2 dinners and it was WAY better and less expensive. They also have a buffet, where you also get breakfast. AMAZING resort with incredible staff. We highly recommend Mangia’s to stay! We were an adult couple with boys 9 & 11 and my mother in law. Perfect for everyone and we all agreed we didn’t want to leave!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt ! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine schöne Terrasse! Wir haben Zimmer- nr: 3342 gehabt. Das Personal im Restaurant war kompetent und freundlich. Das Restaurant hatte eine sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen. Sehr schöner Strand! Und wirklich auch erwähnenswert ist der Pizza- Kurs, welchen man vor Ort gegen Bezahlung machen kann. Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit !

The sunsets at Mangia’s Torre del Barrone were very beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family of four, with a lovely sunset view. We appreciated the clean and uncrowded beach nearby. Breakfast had a good variety, and the desserts were a highlight. We always enjoyed our dinners at Pizzeria Al Grano.

Lieu magnifique, un buffet somptueux. Déçue cependant des matériaux qui à mon sens ne sont pas dignes d un 5 étoiles. ( le siège des WC cassé, mes tasses non lavées , le frigo sale à l’intérieur) il y a un manque de vérifications de la part du staff. Autre point négatif : j ai voulu le jour de ma réservation modifier la date de retour, j’ai écrit à l’hôtel mais n’ai jamais eu de réponse. J ai donc payé un jour de plus. Lors de ma réservation, j ai reçu un mail me disant que j avais un accès au spa compris. Puis j apprends avec surprise par les dames du spa que je n ai le droit qu À 1 seul jour d entrée gratuite! Je précise que j ai tout de même loué une suite junior et suis restée 8 jours…

Mycket fint hotell längst ner mot vattnet. Man möttes till och med av god doft när man gick in. Faciliteter och inredning var super och frukosten var helt enastående. Trevlig personal för det mesta! Det som kan förbättras är att det var hål i både lakan och solsängen vid poolen samt att man hade velat byta sina strandhanddukar.

An absolute must if you are looking for somewhere to unplug and relax while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. This resort exceeded our expectations in service, accommodation and experience especially during their quiet season. Service: The staff is incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. Truly felt like a 5-star experience. Rooms: Beautifully decorated, clean, and wonderful views. Amenities: Pool is stunning (dont forget the beach chairs as well), gym is limited and gets the job done, and we looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread every morning (plus a view out to the ocean). The spa is also a really nice opportunity to unwind even more. Location: The resort is tucked away in a resort area, but Sciacca is ~10 min away by car and has great restaurants, stores + shopping. We had a lovely stay in early October 2025. Our Junior Suite was amazing, large, appeared to have been recently updated, and had a fantastic view. The staff were lovely, despite the occasional language barrier. Pros: - Recently renovated pool area and breakfast area - Very relaxing adults only calm beach area with bar - Lovely private white sand beach area - Incredible room - Amazing breakfast selection + view Areas for improvement: - Lacl of streamlined way to order room service or make requests (not sure if because of off-season) - Bed was quite uncomfortable - Resort restaurants are unfortunately overpriced and shuttles to the local town are limited to daytime only (not sure if because of off-season) - €5 for fresh beach towels is just eco-friendly gone mad We were fortunate enough to get an off-peak price and were very satisfied with our stay but can see how the improvement areas we have listed may have had a greater impact on our overall impression had we paid a peak price.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Lots of visitors there with very unruly children screaming and crying. Parents made little attempt to control them. I had an issue with the A/C not working properly and had to settle for only some cooling. Also disappointing that I was unable to make reservations at their nice restaurant and had to eat on patio with a limited menu next to a bunch of smokers :-(

The sunsets at Mangia’s Torre del Barrone were very beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family of four, with a lovely sunset view. We appreciated the clean and uncrowded beach nearby. Breakfast had a good variety, and the desserts were a highlight. We always enjoyed our dinners at Pizzeria Al Grano.

What an AMAZING place to stay! The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Sciacca. It is built into the Cliff side so you start on floor zero and go down to floor -6 for the pool. All of the staff is incredible and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and every room has an ocean view. Down on the bottom floor is an indoor & outdoor pool (with a bar and food service). 2 beaches: Calm Beach (adults only and Rocky) and main beach which is sandy and is much larger and has specific chairs for guests with umbrellas. They also have kayaks & SUPs that you can use for free. The ocean was crystal clear & the water was refreshing. There is a train that will take you down to the beach and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. 3 restaurants on site: a sushi restaurant, a pizzeria and a traditional Sicilian restaurant. The menus are all slightly limited, so check the menus before booking your reservations. We ended up going to Sciacca for 2 dinners and it was WAY better and less expensive. They also have a buffet, where you also get breakfast. AMAZING resort with incredible staff. We highly recommend Mangia’s to stay! We were an adult couple with boys 9 & 11 and my mother in law. Perfect for everyone and we all agreed we didn’t want to leave!!

False advertisement, not Five star more like a two star hotel. The grounds are and view are nice however inside is outdated feeling like the 80s. Indoor pool and spa was closed. Food is terrible which is sad for Italian standards and work staff looks miserable and had poor customer service. The private beach is for adults only and no children allowed they forgot to mention on webpage. 5$ per beach towel never heard of this one before. The HVAC vents smell like mold and elevator is quite the ride.

All staff made our stay an excellent experience. From check in with Sabrina who gave us a tour of the hotel and explained how to effectively navigate its special hillside uniqueness, to Claudia and Cristina who attended to everyone of our questions and requests. Roberta who facilitated reservations to the restaurants and all terrace bartenders and servers who were welcoming and always kind and jovial. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the many years of extensive travel but it is this staff that has made our stay so very special. Thank you.

Our stay at the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort was an absolute delight and a genuinely pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, and we will certainly be back again. The staff were truly extraordinary, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our entire trip. A special thank you must go to Paulo, who looked after us at the pool restaurant with such wonderful service. The facilities were equally impressive. We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. The on-site spa was also incredible, featuring a variety of experiential areas and a massage staff who were excellent at their craft. In short, the entire resort was a wonderful surprise. Excellent reception staff (the one exception was one who accepted a booking for a restaurant that was closed on that evening). Breakfast had great pastries but “hot” food was lukewarm, first morning lots of food stations empty, definitely not 4or5 star. We were initially overcharged for cocktails as bar staff unaware of special offer. Beach was great as was the lady running the beach bar. Pool looked rather green. Room spacious, but no chair and not enough surface space, excellent bathroom, we enjoyed turn down service but only on 2 nights!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt ! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine schöne Terrasse! Wir haben Zimmer- nr: 3342 gehabt. Lieu magnifique, un buffet somptueux. Déçue cependant des matériaux qui à mon sens ne sont pas dignes d un 5 étoiles. Autre point négatif : j ai voulu le jour de ma réservation modifier la date de retour, j’ai écrit à l’hôtel mais n’ai jamais eu de réponse. J ai donc payé un jour de plus. Lors de ma réservation, j ai reçu un mail me disant que j avais un accès au spa compris. Puis j apprends avec surprise par les dames du spa que je n ai le droit qu À 1 seul jour d entrée gratuite! Je précise que j ai tout de même loué une suite junior et suis restée 8 jours…

We really enjoyed our stay and were particularly impressed by the pizza class and calm beach area. The majority of staff were friendly, particularly in the areas we mentioned above. The only constructive feedback I would provide would be that the pool bar was not at the same standard. The club sandwich was soggy and service was often quite frosty in that area. As the resort is located in a small town, it would be good if more info could be provided on activities in the surrounding area Thank you again for taking care of us

What an AMAZING place to stay! The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Sciacca. It is built into the Cliff side so you start on floor zero and go down to floor -6 for the pool. All of the staff is incredible and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and every room has an ocean view. Down on the bottom floor is an indoor & outdoor pool (with a bar and food service). 2 beaches: Calm Beach (adults only and Rocky) and main beach which is sandy and is much larger and has specific chairs for guests with umbrellas. They also have kayaks & SUPs that you can use for free. The ocean was crystal clear & the water was refreshing. There is a train that will take you down to the beach and runs every 15 to 20 minutes. 3 restaurants on site: a sushi restaurant, a pizzeria and a traditional Sicilian restaurant. The menus are all slightly limited, so check the menus before booking your reservations. We ended up going to Sciacca for 2 dinners and it was WAY better and less expensive. They also have a buffet, where you also get breakfast. AMAZING resort with incredible staff. We highly recommend Mangia’s to stay! We were an adult couple with boys 9 & 11 and my mother in law. Perfect for everyone and we all agreed we didn’t want to leave!!

We had a lovely stay in early October 2025. Our Junior Suite was amazing, large, appeared to have been recently updated, and had a fantastic view. The staff were lovely, despite the occasional language barrier. Pros: - Recently renovated pool area and breakfast area - Very relaxing adults only calm beach area with bar - Lovely private white sand beach area - Incredible room - Amazing breakfast selection + view Areas for improvement: - Lacl of streamlined way to order room service or make requests (not sure if because of off-season) - Bed was quite uncomfortable - Resort restaurants are unfortunately overpriced and shuttles to the local town are limited to daytime only (not sure if because of off-season) - €5 for fresh beach towels is just eco-friendly gone mad We were fortunate enough to get an off-peak price and were very satisfied with our stay but can see how the improvement areas we have listed may have had a greater impact on our overall impression had we paid a peak price.

Our stay at the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort was an absolute delight and a genuinely pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, and we will certainly be back again. The staff were truly extraordinary, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our entire trip. A special thank you must go to Paulo, who looked after us at the pool restaurant with such wonderful service. The facilities were equally impressive. We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. Excellent reception staff (the one exception was one who accepted a booking for a restaurant that was closed on that evening). Breakfast had great pastries but “hot” food was lukewarm, first morning lots of food stations empty, definitely not 4or5 star. We were initially overcharged for cocktails as bar staff unaware of special offer. Beach was great as was the lady running the beach bar. Pool looked rather green. Room spacious, but no chair and not enough surface space, excellent bathroom, we enjoyed turn down service but only on 2 nights!

The sunsets at Mangia’s Torre del Barrone were very beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family of four, with a lovely sunset view. We appreciated the clean and uncrowded beach nearby. Breakfast had a good variety, and the desserts were a highlight. We always enjoyed our dinners at Pizzeria Al Grano.

We really enjoyed our stay and were particularly impressed by the pizza class and calm beach area. The majority of staff were friendly, particularly in the areas we mentioned above. The only constructive feedback I would provide would be that the pool bar was not at the same standard. The club sandwich was soggy and service was often quite frosty in that area. As the resort is located in a small town, it would be good if more info could be provided on activities in the surrounding area Thank you again for taking care of us

The hotel was very nice with spacious rooms overlooking the sea. The pool areas were lovely but the resort could do with some more amenities for children especially older children. Breakfast was excellent but we found the buffet dinner quite limited with only a couple of hot options. The staff were on the whole great but we had to ask a lot of questions as the information wasn’t that detailed when we checked in. We had one meal at the Donna Terra restaurant but was very disappointed with the service provided.

Too many things were not up to 5 star status. Our daughter got a parasol in the head by the pool, 1 of 4 restaurants (The Japanese) was closed during our week long stay in high season, gym is really crappy and small, missing pictures on the hallway, drinks on menu not available anyways.

Lovely hotel, perfect for relaxing holiday. Shame the location is a bit isolated, you need a car if you want to explore. Just being really picky, the adult beach could do with easier access to the sea. The gym is very basic and some of the classes/sport facilities offered by hotel were in fact not available for all guests, but only available to those booking through Neilson’s Holiday (and unfortunately some of their staff were rather rude)
