The gym was not available in the evening. There were a lot of areas throughout the building that need to be repaired or replaced. The room was OK and suited our needs. We did not use the pool or breakfast, so I am unable to comment on those.

I stay here every year in july. They allow pets and have nice place to walk them. The pool is nice feature and there close to beach. The snacks down stairs is also convenient. Staff is ok. Housekeeping were very friendly. Breakfast could be improved but at least they offer it.

Staff was nice, room was nice. The breakfast buffet is ok. If you have an EV and can get away without using their charger save your money. It was $10 for 2hrs which on my car is 6kwh maxed. So i only got around 13kwh and for $10 on a super charger that would have been 25kwh.

When we booked there was no communication thatthe hotel had been flooded amd was under construction, everything was tarped off in the lobby. No fitness center, no fitness arra. Kids wereretty tocked after a long day traveling amd not have a pool

The property was fine and the staff were friendly. Pool and fitness room both closed and it would have been nice to know that before booking. The only other issue was taking showers because the bathroom had no working vent.

Great hotel, lady at front desk is always very polite and accommodating. Pool is relaxing, breakfast is fresh, Suite Shoppe in lobby is convenient. Wish they had a hot tub. Fine dining in walking distance but also fast food options as well.

Spent 2 nights here. Prompt friendly service at check-in. Hallway was needing vacuuming. Breakfast was very underwhelming. First day everything was well stocked. No fat free or low-fat yogurt available. Bananas were over ripe. Second day, same basic selection except was not well stocked or replenished. Had to wait on coffee to be refilled. Room was comfortable but needed vacuumed and a thorough mopping in the bathroom. There was a hatch of flying insects that must have been attracted to the lights on the building. They were everywhere (wish I had took a picture).Checked in Friday and nothing was done about them till Sunday am.

First of all Jessica was a pleasure to work with. She was super kind and helped when I needed it so THANK YOU for that. The breakfast was hands down one of the best breakfasts ive had at a hotel (and I travel a lot for work). Parking was great as the hotel was sold out yet were able to find a spot close to the entrance and exit. The products in the bathroom smelled lovely and the water pressure was great! Our room was clean and the thermostat worked great! The only negative I have is the smell of garbage all 3 days by the elevator bank...But I would 10000% go back to this location and stay next time we are in town. Thanks again Jessica

Staff were great! The lady that helps with breakfast was awesome! The reason it gave the other parts a lower score was the condition of the inside. Very run down, wall paper in hallways taped to the wall and comforters on the beds were very worn! Had stayed at other Hampton Inns and they were wonderful so I was definitely disappointed to see the condition of the interior.

Very friendly front desk staff at check in. Room was clean and well stocked. Not able to close the black out curtains so had to have parking lot lights shining in all night and no sense of privacy because I could stand at my car and see in my second floor window. Other than the curtains it was a nice facility. Nice breakfast area well stocked.

Air conditioning didn't work. Room was incredibly hot. We switched rooms to a room that barely had AC. It's remote for the TV also didn't work. We spent the night in a hot room with one tv channel. The receptist was a younger female. She did a great job of trying to help us but she was there alone with no maintenance. We will find another hotel for our trips to Monroe in the future.

Check in was a disaster. The gentleman at the front desk could barely understand or speak English. We arrived early on business around 830 am. Check in didn’t occur until after 2 pm. Upon checking out 3 days later a charge of $18 was issued. Nothing was purchased and corporate has been notified of this and still not resolved.

I booked my stay through hotels.com but somehow the hotel insisted they had to charge me and now I have TWO charges for the same night. After speaking with hotels.com for 40 minutes, they informed me that they will refund me in 7-10 business days. I don’t know if this is hotels.com issue or the hotel itself, but I would NOT book this place through hotels.com/Expedia unless you want to potentially deal with the same headache.

The hotel is being renovated but the room I was in looked like it was already renovated. Unfortunately the bathtub did not drain and when it did, water went all over the bathroom floor. I messaged management and never got a response. Not what I am expecting from a Hilton Property!

I arrived at 3pm, check-in was at 2. I was told my room wasn't ready and i would have to wait. Eventually someone stepped in and told the agent to reassign someone elses room. The agent did not seem knowledgeable in her job. Also, we went to the pool and while swimming someone shut the lights off. There was some light coming in through the windows, but it was dark. Being a previous Hampton Inn AGM, I know the standards expected.

The breakfast bar was horrible. The Orange and Apple juice was so waterdown you couldn't taste the juice. The waffle iron's timer didn't work so the waffle came out over cooked. The chicken sausage was over seasoned. We should have just gone to Ihop for breakfast.

Spent 2 nights here. Prompt friendly service at check-in. Hallway was needing vacuuming. Breakfast was very underwhelming. First day everything was well stocked. No fat free or low-fat yogurt available. Bananas were over ripe. Second day, same basic selection except was not well stocked or replenished. Had to wait on coffee to be refilled. Room was comfortable but needed vacuumed and a thorough mopping in the bathroom. There was a hatch of flying insects that must have been attracted to the lights on the building. They were everywhere (wish I had took a picture).Checked in Friday and nothing was done about them till Sunday am.

First of all Jessica was a pleasure to work with. She was super kind and helped when I needed it so THANK YOU for that. The breakfast was hands down one of the best breakfasts ive had at a hotel (and I travel a lot for work). Parking was great as the hotel was sold out yet were able to find a spot close to the entrance and exit. The products in the bathroom smelled lovely and the water pressure was great! Our room was clean and the thermostat worked great! The only negative I have is the smell of garbage all 3 days by the elevator bank...But I would 10000% go back to this location and stay next time we are in town. Thanks again Jessica

This is clearly a property in transition. Upon arriving, the desk agent was extremely friendly and helpful. The agent was equally friendly and helpful when we departed (although we didn't receive the promised receipt via email). Unfortunately, one of the reasons we selected this property was the availability of EV chargers, and we were told that, due to the construction, the chargers were disconnected. Under normal circumstances, this would have been catastrophic, but there happened to be a supercharger just next door. Everything is under construction, as the property did a decent job of keeping the dust and noise to a minimum. The room was fine, good size for our needs, but here is where the confusion starts. The room rate was higher than your typical "just off the highway" spot, and when you combine that with the active construction site, the EV charger mishap, and the bare-bones bedding, pillows, and towels, you get a confusing experience. The absolute best part: the well-varied breakfast with hot and cold foods and a strong cup of coffee. A perfect way to start the day. This property has a lot of potential, but right now, the rate is not aligned with the overall experience. Would we stay here again? Yes, but we would also consider other properties nearby too.

Hotel is currently under construction but everything was kept very clean. Beds are firm but comfortable. Breakfast offerings were good. This is my 2nd stay at this property and I would stay again, even during construction.

Since my stay 3 weeks ago the first floor has been completely dismantled for renovation. The public areas were quite dusty from all of the construction work being done. I feel they should have alerted people prior to booking. If one had a dust allergy this place would be unacceptable. However, my room on the 3rd floor was immaculate and quiet. It will be a great place to again but for some, not just now.

The hotel was under construction at the time of arrival. The pool was closed. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good. They had omelets and sausage. Make your own waffles. The coffee could use attention as it was quite week.
