The room was amazing as was the service. Had a brilliant night with most our time spent in the beer garden. The staff were great and very friendly. Only qualm was waking up in the night with the room roasting. Nothing an open window couldn't fix. Would definitely come black again!

Beautiful building with outside garden and car park. Couldn’t fault the food, the room, our hosts, nothing was to much trouble. My partner, dog and I had an excellent stay. Will definitely stay again.

The stay was pleasant the room was comfortable the free breakfast hamper very substantial and the facilities in the room included a fridge and ironing board. For the price this was very good.

The room was a good size, well decorated and clean. However, it was absolutely boiling and there were no thermostats on the radiators to turn them off, so the only way to cool the room down was to open the windows. The downside of that was that it is on a main road, so we got woken up every hour. Whilst the bar was really nice and the staff lovely and friendly, we discovered that despite the recent reviews showing a lovely breakfast hamper, that there was no breakfast provided. They are still planning on providing hot food in "a few weeks". As I had an 8am work start, the only place open for breakfast was McDonald\'s, in the wrong direction so I went to work tired and hunger. Far from worth the £83 I paid. If I\'d known there was no breakfast I could at least have made other arrangements.

William was very accommodating and very helpful. He's friendly and easy going. He made me feel welcome and comfortable. There are also friendly local customers that use the bar as their local pub, which was refreshing to see. In additions, William is preparing his kitchen to start serving hot food. This will be an addition to their good services and I wish them the best of luck

The room was spacious and lovely, and the building was quiet . The continental breakfast basket was a nice touch but it could have been ideal to have some milk included. Also the bathtub wasn't cleared properly so we had to clean it ourselves before using it. Overall, we had a great stay but there's a room for improvement

Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Sadly this place needs a fair bit of work doing to it. Stayed in a room on one of the hottest days of the year (not their fault obviously!) but no fan available and also blinds only covered 2/3 of the window so noisy all night then the room was bright from about 4:30am. Did flag this to staff but no-one came to try and fix the blinds or provide a fan. Bathroom was very small and could hardly sit on the toilet due to close proximity to wall opposite. For the price I'd opt for something else next time.

I had a wonderful stay! Will (the Manager) greeted me warmly upon arrival and went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience. The single room (at the top) was perfect for my needs & the hamper was a lovely touch. I will definitely return.

This is an exceptionally friendly and welcoming place to stay in for a night end route with well decorated and comfortable rooms. Despite being beside a fairly busy road, it was quiet in the room. Because there was no chef on site, we were given a generous cold breakfast in a small hamper. We look forward to returning in the future.

The property has been refurbished to a high standard. I understand that a chef was due to start the following week, so no restaurant service, however the owner suggest a pub about 15minutes walk away which was excellent. Breakfast was provided free of charge with a very nice hamper and the fridge contained milk orange juice and yogurts .

I understand that a chef was due to start the following week, so no restaurant service, however the owner suggest a pub about 15minutes walk away which was excellent. Breakfast was provided free of charge with a very nice hamper and the fridge contained milk orange juice and yogurts .

The room was a good size, well decorated and clean. However, it was absolutely boiling and there were no thermostats on the radiators to turn them off, so the only way to cool the room down was to open the windows. The downside of that was that it is on a main road, so we got woken up every hour. However: The bed was uncomfortable- hard matress The breakfast hamper was poor quality and value for the daily rate charge of over £100 ! Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Cheap and cheerful is how I'd describe it, no frills. Restaurant was closed so had to walk for a while to find somewhere to get something to eat. No curtains on the room, just a black out blind, so in this hot weather the room was scorching as when you pulled the blind down to give a little privacy you may has well have shut the window really. You had to pull the blind or the neighbours could see straight into the room. Over all, fair room for the money but probably wouldn't go there again.

Great friendly staff, bar was a bit lacking the first few nights most stuff out of stock, kitchen was closed the entirety of my stay but was advised on other places to eat, WiFi wasn't the best when streaming TV shows on Netflix kept buffering every 30seconds or so. But overall very nice place to stay

It was very hot and I arrived a couple of hours before check in. It’s only a B&B but they were officious and said that while my room was ready they would charge extra if I went there . They also tried to charge me £20 for a fan! As for “continental breakfast “ it was a small pack of corn flakes or muesli, uht milk and processed “croissants “ in plastic wrappers pre injected with “jam” no ham or cheese , eggs or indeed anything that one would expect - all left in your room.
