The indoor pool was freezing and it may have been a bad assumption on my part, but if you're going to advertise an indoor pool, be sure it is usable. The workout facilities were extremely lacking. The treadmill was out of order and there were no free weights, but a bench. And, the mattress on the pull out bed was filthy. Breakfast was good.

It was great, everyone was friendly. Only thing that could have been better was the pool was freezing and it would have been nicer if it were a bit warmer so the kids could have stayed in and swam longer. Due to health conditions I have I couldn’t even get in because of it being so cold. Aside from that everything was great.

The cleanliness of the rooms where ok, but the restroom floors are breaking apart, the beds must be old because when you would move you can hear the beds squeaking. we also got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes and kept calling the emergency number and no one would answer the phone so I had to call 911 for the firefighters to show up and lets us out. The receptionist did not care at all that we were stuck on the elevator for that long and just kept saying that her manager was not there to do something about it, so ridiculous.

Very nice breakfast. Multiple hot and cold items. Pool looked murky and I wouldn't have used it. Otherwise felt very clean. Right in the parking lot of a shopping mall. So not a pretty setting, but convenient.

Great service , clean, quiet. The only complaint/ concern was a serious problem with the elevator. It had a serious“lurch” as it reached the 4th floor. I was warned at check in- but another gentleman on the elevator with me & I agreed that we were not prepared for that serious of a jump.

The staff was friendly and polite. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The overall property appeared clean, except my bathroom had an unpleasant smell, like urine. I bought a spray cleaner and cleaned the toilet and the area around it but the smell remained. So, I’m not sure what it was that I was smelling.

Needed a place to rest in the cool AC while our AC at was being repaired. Very nice staff and clean/nice but dated room decor. only had one elevator and it was a bit slow we weren’t in a hurry but if someone was then they would have to prepared to be patient

Electrical outlets throughout the room were so loose that I could not get a good enough connection to power the chargers for my watch or phone. This is a concern that means I won't be returning to this hotel. It's past time for this chain to update and correct the functions before they cause a short circuit that creates a fire.

The sofa bed was not able to be used because the mattress was so thin, my daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa itself, which meant there were 3 of us in the king bed. Nobody had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was disappointing compared to other Fairfield Inn properties I’ve stayed at.

We stayed in room 300 and it overlooked the parking lot. We could hear vehicles honking as well as an AC/Heating unit that kept turning on and off all night. We had to wear earplugs to sleep.

Wasn’t able to check in after having a reservation. Very incompetent staff. System was supposedly down so they wouldn’t let us stay. Had to find another hotel spur of the moment when we had plans we were almost late for. Will not even try to stay again and I better not be charged for a room I wasn’t even able to see.

Check in is at 3 showed up 3:30 for 2 rooms that had been reserved and no rooms available not cleaned yet only have 2 people to clean 45 rooms told have to come back when ready would call per front desk . Called back in an hour has one room and never called back about 2nd we got 2nd room 4 hours later no apology no discount & rude front desk . Won’t go back do recommend residence Inn Marriott Abilene stayed there prev night know how to treat their customers

When I booked our room I requested a room on the top floor so that we would not have to hear people above us moving around. I received a text back saying they would be happy to accommodate. I checked in and was given a room on the top floor=happy. I took the keycard to get into the room and I entered a room that was already occupied! This was frightening and embarrassing! I don’t like that I was able to freely enter someone’s room. Makes me concerned that other mistakes could happen that would jeopardize my family’s safety. I went back to the front desk and told them what had happened. They blamed another clerk, said our name was similar to the ones that were in the room, and then gave us another room on a lower floor. No apology given and we had noisy people over us, which is what I was trying to avoid by requesting a top floor room. Overall the hotel was ok, but this experience has left a bad taste behind. It is unsettling that I was able to gain access to someone else’s room due to the lack of competency of the front desk staff.

Definitely won’t be staying here again. Beds are unnnnncomfortable & they charge you extra fees when you check out including a BS parking fee….seriously???? You don’t park my car for me and it’s an open concrete parking lot..why charge a parking fee??? Breakfast is ok at best and the coffee is brewed like water. Not worth it…plenty of other options here to stay when we come to town.

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was great. The only thing that we didn't like, was that the indoor poor was not working.

Very nice breakfast. Multiple hot and cold items. Pool looked murky and I wouldn't have used it. Otherwise felt very clean. Right in the parking lot of a shopping mall. So not a pretty setting, but convenient.

Everything related to my stay was relaxing and wonderful..the breakfast offered was well prepared and hot..any trips to Abilene will definitely include another stay at the Fairfield Inn

The sofa bed was not able to be used because the mattress was so thin, my daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa itself, which meant there were 3 of us in the king bed. Nobody had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was disappointing compared to other Fairfield Inn properties I’ve stayed at.

Staff was excellent but the truck didn't come in on time and they ran out of food for the last 2 breakfasts.

When I pay $300 for a night’s stay, I expect the facility to meet the standards the site promotes. My daughter needs aqua therapy for mobility issues, so we booked a hotel with pool, except the pool has been under construction for a couple of months. It would have been helpful if your website had told us that, so we could decide. If, I pay $300, l expect to give my daughter her exercise session. Very disappointed.

We were disappointed with our stay, especially because the hotel did not match what was advertised. One of the main reasons we chose this property was because it listed a pool as an available amenity. After arriving, we found out there was no pool, which was extremely frustrating as that was a deciding factor in our booking. In addition, the cleanliness of the room did not meet expectations. The bathroom felt dingy and was not as clean as it should have been for guests checking in. A clean, well-maintained space is a basic expectation when staying at any hotel. Overall, the experience did not reflect what was advertised, and we were disappointed that we did not receive the amenities or quality we expected when making our reservation.
