If you just need a quick place to sleep you'll live, but it is not great. Just has a cheap feel. No elevator, hallways not air conditioned, stuff like that. Great location tho.

Noone at the front desk to check, someone came and said youll have to wait about 20 minutes mind you its 4 pm. Check in is 3 pm. I said no im not waiting. Finally got checked in. Asked for a roll away bed and was told we dont have any.

Food crumbs on mattress sheet was disappointing. Rear entry was out of service so you have to walk quite a distance. A broken down vehicle in the lot, almost seemed like someone was living in it.

Initial room had strong smell of smoke and requested new room which was accommodated. No elevator in the building which was difficult for my elderly parents to carry luggage to second floor room.

I've never felt compelled to leave a review before, but I had to. I wouldn't stay there again for free. They make you pay a $50 security deposit I'm just hoping to get back for what? The room was dirty, there was a hair in my sheets. The fitness room was a treadmill that doesnt turn on. There was noise in the parking lot at 2AM. I generally didnt feel comfortable.

A hotel in a college area. It is old and has not been upgraded or remodeled in a very long time. I am happy to save $25 per night with outdated decor. The sheets and towels are clean. The floors are vacuumed. The showers have good water pressure and hot water. There is ZERO smell of mustiness in any room—something that would be a deal breaker for me. Climate control machines within rooms work well. Each room has a 2.5 cubit foot fridge, a mini-microwave, a mini-single cup coffee machine, and a small (32”) flatscreen TV. The morning breakfast has waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, juice, milk, yogurt, coffee, decaf coffee. No eggs. The hotel has a small fitness / laundry room. It has a stair-step machine, a bicycle machine, and a treadmill. No weights. Next door on one side is Cousins (sub sandwiches), and Scooters (coffee). On the other side, Layne’s (fast food fried chicken; huge line), and Denny’s (7am to 10pm). Next to Denny’s, across a short parking lot, is a Starbucks and a Panera’s. Something to watch out for: the switches control the lamps, which means they control the convenient outlets on the lamps. The hotel was built before electronic gadgets became essential. If you are charging electronics, as I do, you will need to make sure the outlet stays on. I slightly loosened the light bulbs at night; and tightened them in the morning. It was also not built with ADA in mind. For that, go to a newer hotel; Super8's retro-accessibility is insufficient.

Rooms were decent, some issues side AC units but over all, clean and quaint. Hallways and stair cases do not have AC. no elevator access. Staff were friendly.

Staff entering my room without permission hotel being under remodeling ceiling had mold never again will I stay don’t recommend it

I had to wait 20 minutes to check in because the person when to get the cleaning staff from another hotel which they also run. then I asked for a first floor room because I’m handicapped climbing stairs are difficult for me. He would not change our second floor room to first floor said it’s all pre arranged

We stayed here in 2020 and it was a great stay but just recently, the hotel was nothing like before. The room was dirty, the remote had what i assumed was food all over it. My daughter found hair on the sheets when she pulled the covers back. The bathroom was not clean, the sink and floor was dirty. I dont know if it was a change in staff or what but I won't stay there anymore if I need to stay in Appleton

This is the most disgusting hotel room I've ever seen. I don't understand how the condition of this room was acceptable to let your guests stay in. There are spiderwebs all over the room. There is exposed mold in the bathroom shower and on the walls. There was hair on the soap from the previous guests. The smell of the entire place (lobby, halls, room) was enough to make one nauseous. I would like to know your cleaning standards. How is this acceptable? I paid $380 for this filth? DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Hallways had strong smoke smell. Room was stuffy and damp. Also, the bathroom walls needed a good cleaning!!! Bed was clean and shower was good. Wouldnt stay again.

Floors were dirty. Trash left piled up in the hallway and stair well. Food crumbs were up and down the hallway. Bed spread had holes in it. Bathroom door would not close. Tub was dirty. Carpet needed cleaning

Don’t stay here. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. They moved us to another room but it looked like the bedding had not been changed. Overall not clean. Staff was friendly but the man checking us in had really bad body odor. We decided we couldn’t stay. I have been working with Hotel.com and they couldn’t secure a refund.

Room was not only worn but dirty. Hair on shower walls and did not appear clean, could not get ourselves to even shower, small hairs and black like dirt specks on sheets, stains on bedding, dust on bedside table lower shelf, carpeting did not appear it had been vacumed in awhile. Staff were very nice and pleasant. We just dealt with it as we were exhausted from traveling and could not check in until after midnight due to delays.

When I arrived there was no trash can in room. The front desk gave me one. Then I realized there was no shower curtain. I asked front desk to provide one, they never did in four days. There was visible mold in the bathroom. If there had been ANY other facilities in the area, I would have left. Place is dirty and vastly overpriced. It’s a dump.

This property smelled liked mold and stale smoke (weird for being a smoke free hotel). Breakfast was not stalked at all. Bathrooms were moldy on the walls and ceiling. Bedding did not seem clean. Our feet were black from the carpet. Website states they offer cribs, and I was told they do not by the front desk

The cleanliness of the bathroom was terrible. There was a bar of used soap left in the shower. The shower curtain is moldy. The tub itself was dingy and not clean.

Check in went well but on the walk to our room there was clearly issues with the standard of the hotel. Extremely dated decor. Walls had deposits on them which can only be described as caramel looking. Significant amounts of damage to paintwork and walls, and most significantly was the smell of wet/mould plus air freshener. First room we had, half the floor was very wet to the point it squelched when you stood on it and it soaked through socks immediately. Smell was stronger inside the room. Reception very quickly arranged a new room which did not have a damp floor but had a stronger mould/wet and air freshener smell plus deposits on the wall. I again complained to reception and explained with all of these issues a third room wasn’t a solution and we would not be staying past the first night. To their credit they were very helpful and arranged a refund of the remaining nights. They explained that the rooms had recently been deep cleaned but they clearly hadn’t been ventilated afterwards. I honestly believe that had we stayed we would have suffered respiratory issues because of the room environment. I appreciate it’s a 2 Star accommodation but it did not feel a safe environment to stay. If we hadn’t arrived late and been so tired, and if the windows weren’t safe to open, we would not have stayed the first night.

Dirty, loud, dirt bikes loud right outside the window, smelled awful. Unfriendly receptionists

Hotel was fine, but our room had some mold in the bathroom, walls near the bed were dirty, shower curtain had mold on it, the toilet had terrible flush power and would take multiple flushes to get all the business stuff down. breakfast area is nice and clean and food is decent. But the rooms could use a lot better job of cleaning.

AC doesn't cool below 74 deg. After microwaving the unit's door wouldn't open until the cord was pulled. Door sticks.

It was one of the worst stay I ever had in a hotel stay. Breakfast was small and not a lot of choices. I had two people next door beating on the doors, crying and not getting much sleep. Beds were to hard, my back was killing me the next morning. Stains in the sheets, walls need a paint job and my wifi sucked. I could never get connected. Very disappointed.

The coverlet on the bed was stained and dirty. After taking off the coverlet the blanket had holes all over it from too many washings possibly? There was a large drip of mysterious subtance on the painting. I didn't investigate. Air conditioner worked well and it appeared the sheets were clean. Overall the hotel was dated and just had an ick feel.

Check-in was fast and good. Then it went downhill. Room was smelly. Very sketchy area. The pillows were tiny and insufficient. The next morning I tried to get more pillows. First stopped to talk to housekeeping staff but they didn't speak a word of English so that failed. Then went to front desk, explained we needed more pillows and the manager promised to have housekeeping put more in the room. When we returned that night there were no extra pillows. I went to front desk then and the girl there said that they had no more pillows and it would take 2-3 days to get some but we were only there for two nights. Also, housekeeping did not make up our room so we had no coffee the second morning. Second night people in another room were fighting and screaming at 4:00 in the morning. Overall, a horrible experience.

We stayed just for a single night so we can attend Fox theater. Hotel was quiet, clean and parking near the door to our room was close. Breakfast was pretty basic having coffee, waffle maker, yogurt in the frig. Had problem getting on the internet, didn't address this with the hotel because we really didn't need it.

I rolled in after midnight from a bisiness trip and found that my room had missed getting on the maintenance schedule (no running water). Front desk gentleman was most kind, apologetic and helpful, and quickly moved me to another room closer to the lobby. Would stay again.

Patel helped us check in easily after a terrible day which left us stranded locally.

The staff member we dealt with was very accommodating and worked with us to get us a suitable room. Some rooms smelled bad, but we were able to find a comfortable, clean room. Great price for the area.

I asked for plunger and willing to help out thanks for appreciating it. Great staff!

Customer service was horrible. The hotel did not look all that clean either. I would never stay there again and would advise no one else should either. Could not enjoy myself because the hotel was that bad.

Had to wait 30 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk to check us in. Called the number at the desk for assistance at least 5 times and it just rang and rang. Very frustrating. Tried to cancel and couldn’t get anyone to help

There was mold on the bathroom wall and it is a very sketchy area. A police officer told me it is a bad area. A lot of drug activity. Will never go back there again. I would never recommend anyone go there.

It had everything you needed super close by, even with a main highway right there you couldn't tell it was there

There was a homeless community next to the hotel. The receptionist was on the phone for 10 minutes before I could check in.

There is constantly homeless people walking around parking lot. Cops patrol there alot. Spoke to one and they say thats the worst part of town. I got into an arguement with a homeless guy that wouldnt leave me alone. This hotel looks to have not had their dumpster dumped in over a month. Id stay clear of this place. Travelodge is even worst

You got a different weird smell every 50 ft down the hall way. Felt unsafe. It’s not worth trying to save a few bucks to stay here. Room had a funky smell to it. (Like a bag of chips) walls were warped in the bathroom. Did not enjoy. Will not be back.

This hotel felt overall kind of grimy and gross. The breakfast was the most skimpy and disappointing I've ever seen.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, very limited no protein.

Property is decent for the price you pay most of the time unless the Green Bay Packers are in town then it is priced ridiculously. The breakfast is enough to get you by but sometimes it’s inadequate.

I used to stay at Super 8 Motels throughout the midwest for work. You could always count on them. Clean, reasonable, etc. The continental breakfast was the thing that got me most. A gallon of milk, a container of Sunny Delight, waffle machine and toaster. Was just expecting a bit more.

The facility is showing its age, but outside of that, was a great value. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Typical of many facilities these days, housekeeping did not enter my room during my 3 evening stay. Breakfast is provided… which was primarily cereal, yogurt, bread & fruit. Many restaurants are in close proximity.

Stay BEWARE. I think management purposefully only updated the outside of this property and the main lobby to make one think, “oh, this property isn’t so bad.” The property condition is shameful. I would never write this if I had only paid something like, $60 (which would likely be a typical nights rate here.) I do believe in the philosophy that you get what you pay for. So when I paid $153 for one night to be exact, I am beyond livid that I feel completely scammed. The property clearly capitalized on the fact that the area was hosting a big sports tournament and rooms everywhere were selling out! Paying more than $60 per night for this place is a SCAM. Common areas: dark, very outdated; appears to be from the 70s. Hallways have the 7ft dropped tile ceilings with lots of dilapidated areas; holes, paint chipping and huge wall scrapes; some holes were half patched, others were not. Room: Dark, dingy room with multiple maintenance/cosmetic defects. Very strong mold odor. Furniture was extremely worn and tattered. 5 cigarette burns in the comforter itself. When do you decide to pitch these exactly? The "included breakfast" was a joke. Only a few items were offered. The juice machine had an "out of order" sign on it.

Appreciate the effort in getting us checked in early. Place was needing professional painting and remodel. Very amateurish. For breakfast the juice machine was broken, there were three bagels, no waffle iron.
