Hotel was perfect for a last minute stop over.

Very nice hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Rooms were spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

My experience was the worst of any hotel stay ever. I tried to check in at 3pm and was denied entry because the USC football team was staying at the property. I booked the room due to its proximity to Penn State University (45 minutes away) where I planned to attend the 7:30 game between USC and PSU. We were told by the police, who blocked access to the hotel, that we couldn’t check in until 6pm. So my son and I drove to the game. When we arrived around 12:15 am to check in, there was a line of others waiting to check in. When I asked to check in, the front desk person said the rooms were not cleaned yet and told us that we would need to wait about 15-20 minutes for our room. More and more people poured into the lobby. The desk person had no list…after an hour I checked again with a second person who magically found a clean room for us. The original person had no idea who was next to receive a clean room. We learned that the last person was checked in by 3:30 am! We also learned that the USC team trashed the rooms. If I managed the property, I would have made sure that the manager was present to manage the chaos. We learned that the same situation happened last year with the Oregon team. We were never notified that we couldn’t check in before 6pm…the police told us! All of the people who endured this horrible experience should be compensated in some way I had great pity for the cleaning maids. They likely received poor tips. I made sure to over tip the maids.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean.
