Local couple we needed a place to stay the night due to our AC being out and its over 100 degrees. Was able to get in quick and they allowed our dog! Room was much nicer than expected and proud to say our hometown has places like this.

The website states the room are recently renovated but I see no signs of that. Very weird setup with a cutout in the wall where the tub/shower is so you can see into the sleeping area. There were multiple yellow stains on our sheets. So gross! Breakfast was extremely disappointing. My husband chose this hotel because it had great breakfast ratings. There were only enough eggs for 1 person at 6:10am, only a few potatoes and 1 piece of sausage! There was no yogurt, no cereal, very few options for food choices when there were quite a few people down there trying to eat before they get on the road. In addition there is no elevator so we had to haul our luggage up and down the stairs! Be cautious when choosing a room because they have smoking rooms in this hotel!

The mattresses were the worse I’ve ever had in a hotel! I thought one of the beds would collapse under my weight. How can a hotel not have an elevator? Not the best place for ADA compliance which means what if you’re in a wheelchair and no ground floor rooms available. It would be extremely difficult to even come I to the building without power doors.

The first room we were given had roaches crawling on the walls and our sheets had a very large pee stain. When we presented our concerns to the front desk, he admitted to the roach issue and hinted to the fact that their cleaning services were understaffed and not thorough. He was very helpful and pleasant, and got us in a different room quickly.

The room was filthy. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. The smell was overwhelming of bleach and wet dog. We slept with our face in the pillow to help. The mattresses were hard as a rock and the pillows were tiny and flat. The shelf in the closet area had food on it. There wasn’t even a bar of soap at the sink. In the morning the breakfast was all but gone by the time we go there at 730. They were slowly restocking but we gave up on it. The juice machine was leaking all over the floor and the space was flooded. No one seemed to care and it was tracked all over the lobby. Just don’t do it! Go somewhere else.

Room was disgusting and very dirty. During the night there was 2 mice in our room going through the garbage bags. My children were very scared and couldn’t sleep! At check out the man behind the counter wouldn’t give me customer service number but then said he would credit me back 50% off the room. I still have not received such credit!

There was a significant amount of mold in the AC unit. You could smell the mold immediately as the door was opened. There were stains on the wall. The carpet was separated from the wall & some sort of debris in the corners of the room. The microwave was absolutely filthy. There was hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. The toilet was dirty. To top all this off, we ended up with bed bugs in our luggage & are fighting them at home now. Expedia rates this hotel as 2 star accommodations. In my opinion , it would be extremely generous to give it any stars at all. I am going to find a contact for the Health Department in Marion or the State of Illinois and report this hell hole of a motel!! I will never stay here again nor any other Quality Inn!!

The property is run down and needs renovation and new carpeting. Room smelled musty and had debris on the carpet (hearing aide battery, plastic tags from clothing, other small bits of trash) especially around the edges of the carpet. Did not want to walk barefoot. Bed was good. Breakfast was ok but not great. Personnel were friendly and helpful. TV wouldn't work so room was changed.

We had a good time and everyone at hotel was great but the room was weird. It had a an open window to the bathroom. I won’t go into how inconvenient that made it. Breakfast was good and the visit was truly memorable.

The room as usual we were put way in the back even though we checked in late. Seems to be every hotel policy. The room we stayed in did the job, my biggest complaint was the location or lack of location of electrical outlets near the bed. I could not have a lamp, clock radio and cell charge all at the same time on both sides of the bed. However this was one of those reworked rooms - extra large, that still needed more work. I know everything is more expensive these days, but everyone thinks they can charge $140(includes tax and fees) regardless the condition of the room. On the positive side I enjoyed the breakfast they provided, sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt, juice was decent. The pool (didnt use) seemed nice. The people seemed helpful.

After I checked in and went to my room, I found that other people had been in my room or were still there and just out. The bed was unmade and there was leftover food. Also, the bathroom was kind of interesting in that there was a shower curtain separating the jetted tub from the bedroom with a cut out arch. No one wants to hear or smell someone doing #2 in the bathroom from the bedroom. Just interesting?

Room was clean and night shift was super friendly. In morning was upset because I’m a reward person and asked for 2 hour late check out they didn’t honor. Only said could do hour and they was knocking on door at 9 am 10am , 10:30 and 11 . Hate feeling rushed . They said no one placed in notes

Arrived at 4:30 and 1 of my rooms was not ready. My in-laws wanted for 4 hours before they finally got into a room. Booked thru Expedia and followed up after we got home and asked for a rebate. They offered $20 off a $132 bill. Wont stay at a Quality Inn again.

I’m giving this hotel a terrible rating for one reason: I didn’t get the product I paid for and the staff didn’t really want to be bothered about it. My reservation said the room sleeps 5 people, one room with 2 queen beds. I got 2 double beds and no couch bed for the 5th person. When we called the front desk, they offered plenty of excuses, but no apologies. They brought us a portable bed, with no bedding!, but only because we called and asked. When we went down to the lobby to ask for bedding, the lady was sitting in the far back corner and didn’t bother to get up and come talk to us - she just yelled between us and someone in the back. At this point, I was pretty frustrated. I decided to talk to the hotel manager in the morning. When I saw that she parked her car in the lobby entrance drive, making it difficult for people to use the lobby loading area… I knew that it would be pointless to talk to her. The car was still there hours later. The maintenance guy and the breakfast lady, however, were very polite and friendly.

Well they upgraded us at no cost. The shiwer/tub combo had a slight problem. When you pull the knob for the shiwer it worked partially as the faucet still flowed badly. Everything else was awesome.

Very nice staff at check in. Expedia had me in a smoking room even though I chose nonsmoking and she changed it right away. Room was clean. Price was affordable and bfast in the morning was nice.

We didn’t give us the extra sheets and blankets for sofa bed. They keep telling us that they were going to send them. The third time we called they were very rude. We understand they were busy but we book two bed room and they didn’t deliver.

Trashy hotel, terrible towel service, NO cleaning services for our room, and clogged sink in bathroom. Called and walked to front desk and couldn’t get anyone to even come to the room once during two night stay. Manager unavailable

Lisa & the other front desk woman were very nice! Plenty of parking & easy on, easy off I-57. Lots of restaurants right next to the hotel.

If you love the smell of weed and stale smoke, this is the hotel for you. The area around it is sketchy and one doesn't feel safe. The rooms are old, moldy, and dirty. This will definitely not be a hotel we will visit ever again.

The room was filthy. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. The smell was overwhelming of bleach and wet dog. We slept with our face in the pillow to help. The mattresses were hard as a rock and the pillows were tiny and flat. The shelf in the closet area had food on it. There wasn’t even a bar of soap at the sink. In the morning the breakfast was all but gone by the time we go there at 730. They were slowly restocking but we gave up on it. The juice machine was leaking all over the floor and the space was flooded. No one seemed to care and it was tracked all over the lobby. Just don’t do it! Go somewhere else.

Convenient on/off to highway.Spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Front desk staff very personable. Very reasonably priced. I definitely would be a return guest.

The website states the room are recently renovated but I see no signs of that. Very weird setup with a cutout in the wall where the tub/shower is so you can see into the sleeping area. There were multiple yellow stains on our sheets. So gross! Breakfast was extremely disappointing. My husband chose this hotel because it had great breakfast ratings. There were only enough eggs for 1 person at 6:10am, only a few potatoes and 1 piece of sausage! There was no yogurt, no cereal, very few options for food choices when there were quite a few people down there trying to eat before they get on the road. In addition there is no elevator so we had to haul our luggage up and down the stairs! Be cautious when choosing a room because they have smoking rooms in this hotel!

The free breakfast was crowded and chaotic with people that seemed to be “regulars” and the eggs were gone, no syrup for waffle maker and oj was watery. Large waste container was full and exposed. The property is showing its age.

The hotel was over priced for what it offered. Breakfast was just okay. It is an old building, but it was clean. Definitely could use some updates for sure! They allow pets, and are lenient on pet policy and deposit. Location was great! It’s next to highway, food, and gas.

Front desk night time check in staff gal was not helpful. Paid for 3 adults, got 2 sets of towels. We have very lomg thick hair. Walked up to the desk due to no phone in the room. She stated it would be "awhile". Never happebed. We had to share towels. She did have time to take multiple smoke beaks, leaving her cigarette butts right at the entrance.

The staff at front desk said thats what people do and we cant do anything about it. the walls were dirty in bathroom. and areas in bedroom like it was a party room. We were very tired from our drive just wanted to sleep and get back on the road this morning. Very disappointed with our stay. Also the pool was all green and closed.

This IS DEFINITELY NOT A HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE BUILDING. There are NO elevators. I made a reservation June 11 for an August 1st check in & requested a ground floor room for my parents, one of whom uses supplemental oxygen. At check in, we were given two second-floor rooms. Entrances are not well lit, signage is confusing in the hallways, ice machines & pool were out of order. . I checked back out in ten minutes, never entered our rooms & drove 2 1/2 hours home. Fortunately I was able to get refunded for the rooms, but it took four phone calls and 75 minutes of time. I hope the listing on hotels.com is updated soon to reflect the lack of accessibility.

The rooms were nice but wore out. Paint was all over everything, tiles were missing, the heat lamp was missing and the towels were old. The pool was off limits and the breakfast didnt have bacon. No microwave in the room either. For the price we paid, i expected a much better experience. I dont recommend this one.
