Comfort Inn Roanoke Civic Center

Overall a great experience. Room was nice, gym was good. Breakfast was decent. Price was fair. I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Roanoke.

Nice day, had a newly remodel room and even though it’s right next to the interstate, the room is almost silent at night. Also had an electric car charger that worked perfectly.

Staff was helpful. Great location. Charging for EV on site.

The pool has been removed despite the signs directing you to the pool. The tv had so much pixelation that it was impossible to watch. The food was just ok. Beds were comfortable.

Good condition. Well lit parking lot. No problems at all.

Although more than a mile walk out of town, I chose this hotel because it had a pool and I could continue my daily routine. It does not have a pool.

Nice room, very clean and everything in working order. Super close to downtown. Breakfast was great and we also used the gym. Some free weights would be nice in the gym.

Room was run down while other areas of hotel under renovation. Site shows pool and why chose the location, but has been filled with concrete. WiFi sluggish when able to connect

Helpful and Friendly staff. Unfortunately a little smaller parking than they need - some was taken up with shipping containers.

Parking was a little limited. But very clean and nice breakfast.

Shower heads were dirty. Tub was also dirty curtains were also dirty.

We truly enjoy staying at the Comfort Inn Roanoke Civic Center! It is always clean and has wonderful staff members who are always helpful and positive.

I chose this place due to an 8.8 rating upon arriving I have no idea how it had that good of a rating room was small cramped and had a dirty look. Upon checking things out there wasa cigarette burn hole in blanket in a non smoking room and the tub had quite a bit of hair attached to the drain plug when it was lifted out. Also after walking in sock feet from bed to bathroom and back the bottoms of my socks were brown from the dirty carpet. The staff was very rude due to a mefical issue we had to leave a dat early and the hitel said if the 2nd night was refunded then I would owe her more money and refused to refund it and then proceeded to hang up on me when I said lets talk about my refund shall we. socks were

Comfortable stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was a good size and clean. Glad that the lobby was staffed 24 hours since we got in late. Breakfast was decent, and we were very happy that they had it out until 10 am.

Carpets were dirty and had a musty smell

The overall property was great and the staff at check in was amazing. I checked in late an it was super easy and convenient but when i went to lay down i noticed the sheets and pillow cases had not been changed from the previous guest.

Horrible Inn if zero starts was an option I would have selected it. We found bugs in the room, multiple bugs and when brought to the front desk attention, they simply responded with that's Roanoke and they can't do anything about it. I didn't even stay the night i left and went to another hotel. I ask for a refund and they won't provide one. Customer service is awful we will not be staying at the inn again.

Staff were friendly. The floor we were on was being renovated in most of the rooms. There were sinks, old carpet, workers, etc. up and down the hallway. Also, our room seemed to be mostly renovated, but it was missing things. In the photos they show a desk and at least one chair. Ours didn't have a chair, desk or drawers for clothing. The room and lobby were, however, very clean.

The room was very clean and had recently been remodeled and painted. However, it was very sparse, with not even a rug on the floor. And I could not get their Wi-Fi to work on either of my devices.

Our stay was delightful! Clean, quiet, spacious room with generous desk space, black-out curtains, and super comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good!

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 2 years for medical reasons to have procedures done at a Carilion hospital. Ours stays have always been good. The manager is very good and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and in a safe area, but close to the highway. This time was a little different. The hotel is undergoing renovations. We were placed in a room that had been renovated. Upon arriving we found refrigerator not working and bedside lights wouldn't turn on. Upon investigating they weren't even plugged in. Bathroom did not have hair dryer installed. It was laying on floor. There are limited outlets, so multiple things were plugged into an outlet strip with no surge protector. This is a safety concern, especially because the refrigerator also had to be plugged into the outlet strip. We had medical equipment that needed plugged in and phones, tablets for charging. The new decor doesn't have any access to usb ports so you need charging docks and there was no clock. We were constantly having to move things around to plug in, as the only other outlet was on the outer wall far from the bedside. Carpet has been removed from the room and replaced with laminate flooring, so cold and noisy. While the new furnishings look nice there are no drawers for storage. Some of these things may not be important to others, but when you are senior citizens they go a long way to provide comfort. I did let the manager know about my concerns and I am confident she will handle it.

This property is currently undergoing renovations to become Sparks by Hilton. I was in a renovated room. The new bed was very comfortable. The pillows are very soft so you may want to bring one from home if you like a firmer but not to firm pillow. No draws, clock or USB outlets in the renovated rooms. Bathroom renovated and clean. I recommend this property.

The staff wase courteous and friendly. The hotel was clean and modern, but there were no drawers in the room to unpack to. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud like an industrial fan rather than a bathroom exhaust fan. Also, no room safe to lock up valuables.

A little noisy with a high school sporting event, however staff gladly moved us to a much quieter part of the hotel.

The hotel was very clean. Day time staff was fabulous. We checked in @ 11:30 pm and woke up the desk clerk. Told him room was paid with affirm however, he then charged my credit card for 2 nights I assume. 108.16 25.00, 86.16, I’m still waiting on my reimbursement from comfort inn. We were on on honeymoon and returning home. These charges took us by surprise and it threw a wrench in our budget. I tried to give this young man confirmation information and he said he found us. Anyway, loved the hotel and day staff but very disappointed in check in.

Staff was amazing, particularly Paul. The room was very clean. That's what i look for the most in a hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, nice and hot and the coffe was delicious. Thank you.

The manager was amazing and accommodating . She even offered to bring us to the airport, if the Uber didn’t show up.

Staff at front desk was very inviting and polite. Quick check in as well. Very informative too. Newly renovated as well.

Clean, comfortable, and well appointed for the money. We did have an issue where the front desk lady was overwhelmed with front desk check ins and a rude customer on the phone. She gave us keys programmed to an already occupied room. Which in the South, could have been dangerous. Luckily, it was a single man in bed.

The fellow at the front desk has the personality of a houseplant. Could give a damn actually. Came with Expedia reservation and he billed it through choice for more money than didn’t give a damn about trying to fix. “Manager will be in at 9 for you to talk to”. All while air pods in his ears and i have to wave my hand in front of his face for him to acknowledge that i walked up to the desk. Needs a new job and i will be posting this review all over every site i can

My husband and I were in Roanoke for the Blue Ridge Foot Levelers Marathon. The Comfort Inn was clean, comfortable and neat. Service was outstanding as we had an issue with our reservation but the manager and front desk worked with us to resolve our issue.

Convenient location to Berglund Center but one would need to either Uber to or park at the center because it's not an easy walk (on the other side of the interstate overpass).

Great location, adjacent to the Lick Run Greenway. Able to walk just 1 mile into downtown Roanoke. Eggd and sausage for breakfast. Friendly staff

It was wonderful and close to everything

This location was right by the highway, near downtown, and very quiet. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was limited in my opinion, but okay. The facilities were a littled dated but nothing that interfered with my stay. Overall it was fine for my purposes.

Nice motel for a stay. Everything about the motel was very nice. The problem was the motel is not really walkable to dining options. If you stay here without a car, be prepared to uber/lyft or take public transportation.

The room was very clean, beds comfortable, no bad smell, and breakfast was very fresh and delicious! It was a very good value for the money!

Had room on 2nd floor with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Shower was nice, hot water and good pressure. The hotel was close to highway and our room was on the side closest so we did get some road noise but it wasn't as noticable as I thought it was going to be. The breakfast was good, had eggs and biscuits with gravy.

Room was clean and staff were friendly. Location was great. The only thing I didn't like was the limited choices for hot breakfast. Specifically, lack of eggs and bacon or sausage.

Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.

The staff was excellent and the whole atmosphere was welcoming. The downside was the breakfast which was disappointing..(eggs with brown on the inside and raw) and the temperature in the room would go from too cool to too hot in a matter of a few minutes. The issues with the eggs and room temperature are quick fixes so with improvements, I would willingly give the hotel five stars.
