The hotel is pretty weathered and could use some updates. The water machine in the gym was not working. The room had damp carpets as if it was just cleaned and smelled a bit musty. The hotel was fine as it was priced very affordably for an overnight stay.

I was disappointed there was no ice in the ice machine and the copy machine was not working in the business room or front desk. I was unable to have a copy of a paper for my meeting. Loved having the pool there and the walking distance to the capital.

Convenient downtown location with onsite parking. Parking is valet only, at the posted rate for the property. Getting your vehicle was easy and quick when it was needed. In and out privileges. Clean and modern room, friendly staff.

Great hotel/ Good service. Pool is good size for kids. The only annoying part is you only had valet to choose from. Staff sometimes would sit and chat while you waited for your car. Most were nice. I would not stay there again due to the valet parking.

Overall the stay was okay! The ice machines didn’t work on my floor so I checked a different floor and those didn’t work either so I went downstairs to report it and a staff member told me to go check another floor, but another staff member decided to give me ice from the Starbucks counter. There was no microwave in the rooms, it was only one downstairs. I feel like to rooms are too expensive for you not to have everything you need in them! And the staff are giving you the runaround about everything. Last but not least housekeeping didn’t come to clean the room until 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. By that time we were back from shopping and wanted to take a nap.

The only issue with this hotel is that its valet only when you want to leave they go get your car but you’re waiting in a long line of people waiting for cars. It’s worse when you return your car it’s so backed up you have a to wait in a line in the street to het your car in. The problem in the evening is there is only one person running the valet. He was doing the best that he could not his fault. Hotel needs to look at more efficient ways to correct the problems with the valet area. For this reason we won’t stay here again.

Bedroom and bathroom could have been way cleaner. There were black spots all over the bathroom tub and they said they would clean it but did not. The room smelled bad as well. It was clearly an old smoker’s room. There were stains on the wall as well. Sheets were not comfortable.

My mom and I stayed in room 922, where the room had a fantastic view of the buildings, church, and the park/river across the way. The room was clean, and did not have any gross hairs on the sheets, pillows, or in the bathroom. The fridge worked excellent, the heating and cooling worked great, and the TV with channels worked very well! There is no parking lot, but there is valet parking, and trust me, you will want to use it! The valet parking is $25 a night, but your car is protected and is kept safe, while on the street, you pay via a app or a website, and have to keep adding more hours as you go. There’s also homeless in the area that seem harmless, but, it’s better to have your car in valet than be possibly broken into. The valet parking guys are great, and wonderful too- especially Gerald (I believe that was his name) he went above and beyond, and was so helpful!

Guest services staff excellent, valet parking highly recommended and the staff is excellent. Housekeeping for bathroom areas need more attention - it was obvious that the shower, floor, and sink areas were not cleaned before my stay. Otherwise, it is an excellent hotel and convenient for downtown stays.

The bathroom of our room had a nasty smell to it. There was mold, or what looked like mold, growing on the grouting. Our teen-aged son said he wasn't going into the shower because he didn't have his Crocs with him. The elevators smelled as if someone had defecated in at least one of them. Overall, not a good experience.

My stay was not bad. Check in was super easy and friendly. The rooms are a bit dated. The cleanliness of the bathroom, not good. Needs a deep cleaning. Woke up to a cockroach staring at me on the bathroom floor. I will not be staying here again. Also, plan on another $25/day for parking.

Location is great. It would be helpful if cleaning were a priority. Towels were stained. Bedding was stained/musty. Shower walls and floor were grimy, something a good disinfecting scrub and bubbles reagent would fix. There needs to be more attention to detail and meticulousness around cleaning. It was quite disappointing as my hopes were quite high because check-in staff were great and so was the valet attendant. Housekeeping could benefit from some refresher training and the hotel should probably replace all towels!

I had an awful experience at this hotel. I checked in excited for a relaxing stay, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. This is not something I expected to deal with at a supposedly "quality" hotel.

Filthy. Had to change out of first room bc it was so moldy and had several layers of dust on all surfaces and a filthy AC unit. Second room was cleaner but AC didn't work properly and bathroom still had mold all over it. Luckily stay was for one night and we didn't need to use the shower. The hotel is run down and lacks upkeep and cleanliness.

The room was good, but two factors made it shabbier than desired: the vinyl office chair had stuffing coming out of the cushions, and the faux brass lamps were very dated , rusting and staining the surfaces of the furniture.

The location of this hotel is the primary reason we stayed here. We did a race at City Island. The room was comfortable and clean. Main gripe is the paper thin walls between rooms. We could hear the next room talking in the AM, and that means, they could hear us. Second time we stayed here. First time the we stayed, the walls seemed much better. Location is key, as well as the $25 valet.

Little disappointed with the staff handling the cars . We were loading our bag after check out and the car was so much away from the drive way. The staff was yelling and threatened us he will take the car and move it away. I would like the hotel management to review the CCTV if any to witness what happened july 19 morning after our check out. I believe the hotel guest should be treated with respect and thing handled more diplomatically.

Terrible…needed to visit the front desk 3Xs to check in due to a bad reader and the manager and front desk people were rude…my 2X at the desk no apology but she said “you have the honor of see me”.

Check in system was broken and the whole room assignment was messed up. It brought us long wait, and wrong room assignment multiple times. Will not stay here again.

Went to have dinner by myself in the bar area. Sat for about 30 minutes without any service. Ended up back in my room with room service. Bartender attended on everyone but myself.

The rooms are too small, and we had to wait nearly one hour before we could check in. The staff was not prepared for the amount of quest children included. I have stayed at high-end hotels for the amount charged for the one-night stay. However, I would never utilize that facility again. The valet and cleaning staff were nice, however, overworked and under staffed.

Staff was friendly. The hotel and room were clean. Our wall thermostat wasn’t working. They sent maintenance up immediately to repair the issue. The valet team was kind, helpful and they were swift with getting our car. We did not try the hotel bar or restaurant. Otherwise it would be nice if the hotel offered free parking to their guests or a discounted rate for parking. Otherwise, I would absolutely stay again.

There were motorcycles and loud souped up cars all thru the night. At 3 am, they were still at it. The noise was horrible and we didnt gwt much sleep, even on the 8th floor.

The hotel and staff were great. The area is definitely full of poverty, homeless and druggies. Not a safe place to walk around at night.

The room was comfortable, but no smart TV. When I got there the room temperature was 76 degrees. They sent the maintenance immediately to fix the problem. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a nice surprise, excellent food! Breakfast was a hit as well. The staff was great!

It was a very nice hotel. I loved the bar/ restaurant on site. The breakfast was very good. I wished the Starbucks stayed open later than 11am. The only downsides were it was absolutely freezing in the lobby, and there was only one microwave in the lobby for the entire hotel. I’ve never seen that before and for that alone I wouldn’t stay here again. We always bring left overs back to the room and nobody wanted to go from the 8th floor all the way to the lobby if we wanted to eat at 1am or whatever time. The staff was great and very friendly though.

Booked here because weather was to be bad and they have a pool which was very nice and it had places to eat at the restaurant only to find out they closed the restaurant down early and had no food. But the room was nice.

The hotel was very nice the staff was excellent. The only complaint is the they are under staffed. Not enough people working in the cocktail lounge or the restaurant.

I always wipe the bathroom down at the very least when I get into a room and when I did it here there was nothing coming up! Clean from the toilet to the tub. Wiped the room down and it was the same. Pretty small room. Didn’t go to the restaurant. But liked the location as well. I normally catch the train in so now I know this place is right around the corner (5 minute walk). Paid for parking beforehand and it was the best decision they have a valet service. Checked out the concessions they had didn’t look interesting to me looked cold and unappealing, but there were many ppl buying food and coffee they serve Starbucks coffee (just the coffee, none of their food items). There is a fridge in the room and a microwave in the lobby.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had an issue printing in the Business Center and the front desk printed my documents for me. Nice they have cookies at check in. We used the washer/dryer on the trip and that was convenient, have quarters handy. Restaurant had limited menu and was a little slow, but food was good and staff was very attentive.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Everyone from the valet to the front desk clerks were helpful in suggesting restaurants and directions to the capital. Sleeping was difficult as the people in the next room talked very loudly and were up most of the night partying

I lodged some exchange students here from the UK and they raved about how comfortable and clean the room was. Thanks so much for showing our across-seas guests a nice time and comfortable accommodations. I’ll definitely book the group here next year! (Their tour happens every September)

Room was very clean,staff was excellent.The room we stayed in had an adjoining room, the door would not completely close or latch, someone had move a table in front of the side of the door to try and block entry from the other room. This needs fixed.
