Overall, this hotel was, at least once, a very nice place. However, it now seems like everything is worn out. The pool is closed, drained and out of order. The carpet all looks very worn out. There is a little bit of rust near the edges of the bathroom fixtures. The hotel breakfast has a very limited selection. This hotel could use a full renovation.

The rooms are nice enough and are fairly clean. However, the gym is in quite poor condition; it is dirty and poorly maintained. Also, the hot tub and swimming area is out of order and no guests are allowed access. This hotel is fairly inexpensive so my expectations were not very high and rightly so.

The property was acceptable. Could use some updates, particularly in the bathroom. Common areas seemed clean, took off a star because one exterior door seemed to not require key entry, and there was a water leak from the ice machine, posing a safety hazard.

Upon arrival, staff was rude…nothing like our previous night’s stay at the Wyndham in Virginia that we had just stayed at. Hotel clerk demanded we give our credit card to pay some kind of a fee to check in that would be refunded on checkout. I’ve never had to do this at any hotel I’ve stayed at. Thankfully the room was clean. The pool, one of the 2 elevators and ice machine were down. Breakfast left a lot to be desired as there was a choice of clearly rotten apples to eat, only regular coffee and orange juice to drink, half frozen sausage and egg patties and only 1 waffle maker which caused a backup which then created problems because staff shut down breakfast even though people were still trying to make the only edible thing available-a waffle. Staff also couldn’t tell a person what the ingredients were in the waffle mix-he had some food allergies and just needed to make sure he could eat it. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough and chose to grab breakfast on the road instead.

Booked it because it had a hot tub. We got there wasn’t working and hasn’t been working. I asked for a plastic fork to eat out dinner with and the refused to give us one literally had to eat our dinner with our fingers.

Overall I’d say that it was average. The breakfast was decent & the rooms were okay. The staff didn’t seem too interested in helping out, many of the things were broken (coffee in lobby not available), ice machine leaking all over the floors, exterior does left unsecured, in room restrooms not properly maintained. Elevator floors and decals were a hot mess. Handwritten signs all over the place. The housekeeping staff was lovely and were the only people offering a hello and working hard- hats off to them. We asked the front desk if there was a pool— she just said no. Didn’t think to mention that there was a hot tub I suppose. I don’t know that it was working anyhow.

It was a good place to stay. There were a few minor annoyances such as the ice machine not working on my floor or the TV remote didn't contain all the functions that were on the TV. I also noticed that the pool was not functional nor one of the elevators.

This was a great hotel once upon a time when I first stayed there 4 years ago. Now its just another hotel going down the crapper fast because a middle eastern family conglomerate bought it and will not keep up the property. The first thing done is to disabled is always the pool (and eventually there won't be a pool at all). None of the ice machine worked, the carpeting in the hallways was bunched up everywhere. Mold on the walls in the bathroom. Buckets all over the lobby catching water leaks from the ceiling. I stayed atthis place back in October and the pool was drianed and the same out of order sign was on the door. During that stay, 1 ice machine was broke. For this stay every ice machine in the building was inoperable. When I checked out they said I had to get my receipt from Expedia when I used the pay when you stay option and paid them for the room on site. These people are too cheap to even print out a piece of paper. I wish I could upload some pictures cause I got some doosys from this stay.

Housekeeping did not come once in my full week stay. The tub wouldn't drain there was hair in the bed and all in the bathroom and i couldn't get housekeeping because apparently they were done for the day. Very terrible place and probably would never come back. I definitely want a refund.

I stayed here recently for a trip. The front desk attendants are very kind and helpful and friendly. I am giving this place a two star review because of the upkeep. It doesn’t seem like they upkeep with anything and that it is heavily neglected. It was daunting to even want to stay here. I give it a 0 for cleanliness. As shown in my pictures, there is rust and broken walls. The air filters have not been cleaned which makes you concerned for what you are breathing in. When you first walk into the room there was a heavy chemical odor not of cleaning products but of a stale smoked in room. I also had a non smoking room as I do not smoke but somehow it had a mixture of cigarette smells amongst other chemical smells. Would not recommend a stay here. For the price they are charging it does not feel safe.

This hotel was disgusting. On the face it looks like a nice place. The minute I checked in I found mold in the shower. (So I skipped showering) The room smelled awful. The toilet had peeling paint inside the toilet and the curtains wouldn't shut because they were broken.

The entire hotel smells musty. The carpet in the room and hallway is filthy! The bathroom was dirty, especially the floor! The hot tub is non-functioning. I asked for linens and pillows for the pull-out couch… I was given 1 pillow without a case that smelled terribly! I don’t recommended this place!

Room smelled awful, carpets filthy, bathroom grimy and had no towels, dust everywhere. Breakfast was sad — toaster barely worked, no basics like salt or pepper. Absolute letdown. Never coming back.

I didn't like the bugs crawling in from the window. The headboard was so dusty. I had to go down the road and got awesome and bleach to clean the room and bathroom myself.

Amenities: I was thrilled at the price point and checkin and appearance of the lobby and room overall in presentation. Staff -Kind. However, the most important point for a hotel stay is sleep! The bed was literally like laying in a soup bowl, basin! It felt like an elephant had been laying in the middle for 10 years! Quite literally, there was no part of the bed i could lay on that did not feel like i was sinking and curving my body down inside the bed. Not juat a slight dip...a CALDERA. To be frank, if anyone actually reads this, i am nsot writing to complain just to complain. This bed was quite literally the the worst mattress i have ever experienced to include $15-$20 hotel stays abroad in Latin and south america while back packing in my youth. Sure some of those beds might have been firm, but they did not crater! I think my room was 213 at your facility should you inspect. Hopefully the full lot of your rooms are not like that! However

Stayed here for three nights for a family trip to Hershey Park. Staff was friendly! Beds were not comfortable at all, you lay down on the side and end up on a hole in the middle of the bed, super soft. We had a big black spider in our room and Cobb webs up on the walls. Bathroom was clean! The room smelt like moth balls and the carpets need a serious update in hallway and in rooms. Went for breakfast in the lobby and the toaster was missing the handles and didn’t even work. We will definitely not be back.

No room service unless you beg for it, stayed for 20 days and got it twice, room smelled of pesticides. Wifi was under 5 mbps which is abysmal. Ethernet didnt work at all and when i confronted the front desk manager they knew it wasnt working and that the wifi was terrible.

Both mornings had no hot water for showers (first day maintenance issue, second day “it ran out have to wait”). The hallway blew air conditioning when it was 40° outside. Room temperature was cold-HAD to have room heat at 78° to be warm. Not enough blankets to stay warm at night. Limited TV channel selection. Breakfast was cold and rarely filled.

Main issue my mother and I had was that once we checked into our room the toilet was not flushing properly. Informed the front desk explaining what happened the maintenance person would take about half an hour to arrive and possibly longer to fix after arriving. We were able to get another room but instead of two beds we had to take the 1 king sized. Other than that everything else was fine.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It was very clean, the staff were nice and friendly, plus it was super close to Hershey and Hershey Comic Con. The bed was very comfortable and the couch was firm, but not in a bad way. The only thing about the hotel that was less than desired was the bathtub. It drained very slowly. Other than that, I loved staying here and would highly recommend this place.

Why did they charge us more when we arrived at the hotel? It should not cost me more after I paid once. The young man at the desk told me it was a fee from Expedia. He told me that unless I pay the extra fee, I would not be able to check in. Noting this and will be warning family and friends.

The room is not cleaned unless you ask for it, 3 days into the stay, I asked why the room was not done and was told, it only gets done if you asked, I explained that it was not on the description, on top of it, they only have one staff member doing it, and they would see if they could do it. Did not like the suprise third party booking surcharge fee of $2.52. ( We booked through Expedia) Passing the third party fee to the customer should not be a hidden fee but be up front on the third party's site and not at the reception desk. Other than this issue, the place is great for the cost.

The staff are not friendly, the AC in the room wasn’t working . The room never ready when you check in . I book a standard king size room , I got there at 2:30pm they told that the room is not ready , I have to wait for 4 pm to check in mind you I drove 4 hrs , they made me get a suite king size room and charged me $30 more .

Overall I’d say that it was average. The breakfast was decent & the rooms were okay. The staff didn’t seem too interested in helping out, many of the things were broken (coffee in lobby not available), ice machine leaking all over the floors, exterior does left unsecured, in room restrooms not properly maintained. Elevator floors and decals were a hot mess. Handwritten signs all over the place. The housekeeping staff was lovely and were the only people offering a hello and working hard- hats off to them. We asked the front desk if there was a pool— she just said no. Didn’t think to mention that there was a hot tub I suppose. I don’t know that it was working anyhow.

Nice, clean room and the bed was comfy...NOT painfully firm like many hotels beds are. Water was hot, coffee maker worked good and a respectable breakfast nook. Only hiccup was that the toilet seat was round and the toilet bowl was oval...kinda strange but it worked. I'll be back and will stay here again. Very polite staff!

The check in process took 45 min I stood there 20 min trying to call from their desk provided phone and it just kept ringing meanwhile another guest walked in to check in and no one came out so I walked over to the breakfast area the business area to see if I could find some one and stumbles upon the offices behind the check in counter where the front desk person was sleeping I told the other guest he wasn’t waking up so the other guest tried to get him up that took 10 min the he was very rude when checking in didn’t say a word at some point just burped and didn’t excuse himself never asked my name and printed out a paper wi the some one else’s saying it was my reservation over all the room was nice but the staff was terrible

Convenient to I-81. A little round-about to get there, but clean, spacious, and bed was comfortable. Easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and sites by car. A little dated, shower could use some "rubber ducks", it was a little slippy. Breakfast was decent. The staff we talked to were polite and cheerful.

Called ahead for an early check in and was told it was not available as they were booked solid. We got there an hour early, 2 cars in the parking lot and the desk told us we can check in early for $30. Room was OK, table top surfaces were "sticky", water pressure in the shower was really bad. The breakfast was really bad, only 1 juice option(cranberry) waffle maker had so much caked on burnt food it couldn't be used.

Overall, this hotel was, at least once, a very nice place. However, it now seems like everything is worn out. The pool is closed, drained and out of order. The carpet all looks very worn out. There is a little bit of rust near the edges of the bathroom fixtures. The hotel breakfast has a very limited selection. This hotel could use a full renovation.

Upon arrival, staff was rude…nothing like our previous night’s stay at the Wyndham in Virginia that we had just stayed at. Hotel clerk demanded we give our credit card to pay some kind of a fee to check in that would be refunded on checkout. I’ve never had to do this at any hotel I’ve stayed at. Thankfully the room was clean. The pool, one of the 2 elevators and ice machine were down. Breakfast left a lot to be desired as there was a choice of clearly rotten apples to eat, only regular coffee and orange juice to drink, half frozen sausage and egg patties and only 1 waffle maker which caused a backup which then created problems because staff shut down breakfast even though people were still trying to make the only edible thing available-a waffle. Staff also couldn’t tell a person what the ingredients were in the waffle mix-he had some food allergies and just needed to make sure he could eat it. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough and chose to grab breakfast on the road instead.

Stay was good. Breakfast needed additional toaster as 2 for support for guests. The one toaster was not functioning properly. Also a 2nd waffle machine is needed to accommodate the long line of guests waiting and waiting and waiting.

The breakfast area. Their was only Apple juice in the machine. No Orange and the Apple juice did not taste good. Thankfully the waffle maker worked. No milk of any kind to drink. No cold water either. The coffee was not good and they only had powdered creamer. Which is not good tasting. They had some yogurt machine. The warm food I did not check but saw a woman throw hers away and say she was not eating "that food". Also, The shower.. The drain was up and the water pooled up to above my ankles while taking a shower. That's pretty gross. The staff was great outside of that. But they need to fix up if they're advertising free breakfast.

Lots of parking. Room, elevator even halls smelt slightly of marijuana or smoke. Wall paper seemed to be peeling in halls. Breakfast was simple and average of not below average, did not end up eating it.

Just needed a place to lay my head for the night and they couldn’t get that right the bed was horrible you could feel the springs in your back the foot of the bed was much higher because it was so worn in I ended up laying across the foot of the bed it was also a total bait and switch the pics online were definitely not of this hotel pics had a modern walk in shower while I had a dirty tub that would not drain properly. I thought I was getting a deal but got what I paid for

Clean room, breakfast wasn't ready at 6:30 AM. Breakfast was starting at 6:30 AM, and this impacted our trip. 6 AM would be more reasonable, and it should be ready at the designated start time. No thermostat for heating and air conditioning, mattress was cheap (soft), the beds would have benefitted from having additional blankets.
