Not happy , Will not be back, Expedia listing said laundry facilities there were NONE. Expedia listing said quean bed with twin NOT a twin, a roll a way. Expedia listing said beach resort NOT, beach access was locked by a gate. Booked for three people only towels in the room. Asked for more none were sent to the room. NO towels at the pool. Breakfast very nice.

Beautiful resort. Housekeeping forgot to fill my shampoo and soap containers, no drinking glasses in room. Gorgeous spa and enjoyed the best hammam, massage and facial there. They upgraded my room to a suite but I wouldn’t call it a suite because of no sofa or kitchen facility but had a beautiful sunset view and deck but I think most of the rooms do

this spot exceeded our expectations. I first have to say how much we enjoyed breakfast especially with Fatima and Aamina manning the msemmen and omelet station! they made the best m'semmen!!!! and of course the very charming waiter Muhammed the lovely ladies at the spa were also very welcoming each time we ventured down. I wish I could remember their names!

Hôtel sympa mais assez éloigné du centre ville. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et cosy. Beaucoup de services sur place (salle de sport par exemple). Dommage quand j'y suis allé la piscine était en travaux et l'hôtel n'avait pas prévenu avant la réservation.

Chambre très confortable et propre, petit déjeuner très varié avec beaucoup de choix, salle de sport avec équipements tout neufs, personnel agréable et serviable, l'espace bar est très sympa. L'ensemble de l'hotel est très agréable avec une localisation un peu à l'écart de Tanger mais face à la mer (1h de marche le long de la mer pour rejoindre le centre)

Nous avons été accueillies par Khadija à notre arrivée, et elle a rendu notre arrivée très agréable. Nous étions trois filles et, surprise, nous avons reçu un surclassement de chambre, ce qui était vraiment gentil de leur part. L’accueil était fluide, chaleureux et très professionnel. La chambre était magnifique, propre, et équipée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le buffet était également superbe, avec un très large choix de plats, notamment des spécialités marocaines délicieuses, généreuses et variées. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour mémorable !

Je transcris intégralement les observations de ma conjointe, Mme TEMRI MEZDIOUI, qui a hébergé dans cet hôtel, elle a trés bien apprécié son séjour, localisation front de mer, sécuritaire, facile d’accéder, dans une zone prestigieuse, vue magnifique, propreté à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 *, chambre prestigieuse grande, salle de bain avec tous les accessoires, literie très confortable, insonorisation complète, elle n’a pas pu prendre son petit déjeuner le samedi, les employés dévoués d’une gentillesse incomparable l’ont accommodé d’un service hors pair en dehors des heures d’un petit-déjeuner servi royalement ! One of the great hotels I have visited in Morocco, very kind and professional staff , they gave two upgrades for my room , rooms are spacious and have a direct sea view very close to the shore, staff helped planning my vacation with a smile and welcoming attitude Rooms are very clean thanks to Ms. Awatef , reception starred amazing mahdi , Mohammed and sahar I thank you all for a great experience

The room was clean, bed very large and comfortable, bathroom large and nice counter space. Absolutely no complaints about the room or hotel cleanliness. Although I don’t plan on ever going back to Tangier, if I did I would stay here again.

Un séjour absolument parfait ! Le petit déjeuner était un vrai régal, avec un large choix de produits frais et de qualité. Chaque matin, c’était un plaisir de commencer la journée ainsi. La vue depuis ma chambre était à couper le souffle, offrant un panorama que je n’oublierai pas. Le personnel était également très accueillant et disponible. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation pour un séjour mémorable.

Un séjour absolument parfait ! Le petit déjeuner était un vrai régal, avec un large choix de produits frais et de qualité. Chaque matin, c’était un plaisir de commencer la journée ainsi. The room was clean, bed very large and comfortable, bathroom large and nice counter space. Absolutely no complaints about the room or hotel cleanliness. Although I don’t plan on ever going back to Tangier, if I did I would stay here again.

Nous avons été accueillies par Khadija à notre arrivée, et elle a rendu notre arrivée très agréable. Nous étions trois filles et, surprise, nous avons reçu un surclassement de chambre, ce qui était vraiment gentil de leur part. L’accueil était fluide, chaleureux et très professionnel. La chambre était magnifique, propre, et équipée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le buffet était également superbe, avec un très large choix de plats, notamment des spécialités marocaines délicieuses, généreuses et variées. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour mémorable !

Idou Malabata is a beautiful hotel with well decorated common areas and rooms. The breakfast was also the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately the hotel is promoting itself as prestigious and luxurious but the service doesn’t correspond the expected services in a 5 star hotel. In the three days spent there we had at least 4 incidents due to the service. With the reception, the restaurant and the spa. The hotel has big potential but needs a good manager to organise it.

Our stay here was amazing. Mohamed and Hamza at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. We were very impressed!! Fati in the spa gave the best hammam treatment we received during our time in Morocco. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options for everyone. The lunch/dinner restaurant was alright, we only had pizza as it was very overpriced for most things. It is easy to walk down the street to some other options or take a taxi. We would definitely recommend staying here and we would come back! We had a good experience in the spa one of the days but the next day it wasn’t as good. They were very behind causing us to have to sit and wait. One worker clearly didn’t want to be there and would sigh and complain about being at work which isn’t exactly nice to hear as a paying customer. One of our treatments got cancelled altogether due to the delay and we couldn’t reschedule as we were flying home the next day.

Nous avons rencontré un problème lors de notre Check in . Avons obtenu notre carte à 18h au lieu de 15h comme il était convenu. Le service trop long, 1h d'attente avant d'être servi, l'entrée arrive sans les boissons, nous étions obligées de réclamer les boissons. Trop de temps d'attente pour un HOTEL de ce genre pas acceptable, nous l'avons signalé lors de notre Check out.

Un accueil souriant et un grand professionnalisme. Je tiens à remercier l'équipe du Front Office d’avoir proposé un upgrade qui a donné un tout autre sens à mon séjour. Sans aucune hésitation, pour affaire ou une petite escapade en amoureux, l'emplacement de l'hôtel, le service (nous avons organisé un évènement sur place) la restauration qui est excellente. Ne cherchez pas trop loin c'est au Idou Malabata Tanger !

Je transcris intégralement les observations de ma conjointe, Mme TEMRI MEZDIOUI, qui a hébergé dans cet hôtel, elle a trés bien apprécié son séjour, localisation front de mer, sécuritaire, facile d’accéder, dans une zone prestigieuse, vue magnifique, propreté à la hauteur d’un hôtel 5 *, chambre prestigieuse grande, salle de bain avec tous les accessoires, literie très confortable, insonorisation complète, elle n’a pas pu prendre son petit déjeuner le samedi, les employés dévoués d’une gentillesse incomparable l’ont accommodé d’un service hors pair en dehors des heures d’un petit-déjeuner servi royalement ! Elle remercie le service de Sahar, Hamza et Mohamed, pour leurs attentions remarquables, et service légendaire !👏👏👏, aussi Khaoula, d’un esprit avan gardiste, à dépassé elle même d’avoir mes disponibilités pour futurs séjours! Soyez sur qu’il aura une autre fois, bravo à l’équipe de Mr. Draif!

Not happy , Will not be back, Expedia listing said laundry facilities there were NONE. Expedia listing said quean bed with twin NOT a twin, a roll a way. Expedia listing said beach resort NOT, beach access was locked by a gate. Booked for three people only towels in the room. Asked for more none were sent to the room. NO towels at the pool. Breakfast very nice.

Beautiful quiet area and calming, gorgeous hotel. We will say that we mostly ate at La Vue and RR Ice (both 5 minutes walking from the resort) because their meal prices were half the cost of the hotel. Aside from the large price tag attached to food, we had a wonderful stay!

The Hotel is very nice the staff are friendly and do an excellent job keeping guests happy. The location is a little outside of Tangiers centre, but is walkable into the centre of town if you have a basic fitness level. However, a taxi into town is inexpensive and easy to book through various apps. Overall the hotel is in a quiet location with enough restuarants close by. I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly

L'accueil réception au top, vraiment sympathique la chambre était très bien. Mais le restaurant, le premier soir était ok, en plus avec une superbe vue sur la mer. Par contre le 2eme soir, on a du attendre 1h30 entre l'entrée et le plat principal, on voyait que l'équipe de cuisine n'était pas du tout la même que je jour précédent, et les plats normalement chauds, étaient servis froid. Malgré une réflexion au pseudo responsable du restaurant, cela ne l'a pas fait bouger du tout, même pas un mot d'excuse, comme si cela était normal. très très déçu par ce point, ce qui nous fera réserver un autre hôtel la prochaine fois, car aussi signaler à la réception ou nous avons reçu comme réponse, Ha oui, désolé, c'est pas normal. Mais rien de plus.

this spot exceeded our expectations. I first have to say how much we enjoyed breakfast especially with Fatima and Aamina manning the msemmen and omelet station! they made the best m'semmen!!!! and of course the very charming waiter Muhammed the lovely ladies at the spa were also very welcoming each time we ventured down. I wish I could remember their names!

Un séjour absolument parfait ! Le petit déjeuner était un vrai régal, avec un large choix de produits frais et de qualité. Chaque matin, c’était un plaisir de commencer la journée ainsi. La vue depuis ma chambre était à couper le souffle, offrant un panorama que je n’oublierai pas. Le personnel était également très accueillant et disponible. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation pour un séjour mémorable.

I was impressed with the people who work here; they made us feel at home in such a sincere way that you cannot pay for...the Moroccan food was particularly comforting and the breakfast buffet was spectacular. It's a new hotel and they are working out the kinks but the spirit is right and it made all the difference.

Séjour au Idou, fantastique vraiment merveilleux. Je dois dire que je n’ai rien à reprocher à cet hôtel, il était parfait. Le personnel était vraiment agréable, Tout le monde était parfait de l’accueil au service de chambre. Le petit déjeuner est succulent et très varié, je n’ai rien à dire et surtout un grand merci aux deux femmes qui font les msemen le matin. La salle de sport est vraiment fantastique. Je n’ai rien à dire tout est super et agréable. Séjour au Idou, fantastique vraiment merveilleux. Je dois dire que je n’ai rien à reprocher à cet hôtel, il était parfait. Le personnel était vraiment agréable, Tout le monde était parfait de l’accueil au service de chambre. Le petit déjeuner est succulent et très varié, je n’ai rien à dire et surtout un grand merci aux deux femmes qui font les msemen le matin. La salle de sport est vraiment fantastique. Je n’ai rien à dire tout est super et agréable. I feel sorry to write a bit of a negative comment about this hotel but I feel that I should share my experience to help others as well as the hotel. My experience might be different from most. First, I wrote a message to the hotel on this website requesting a special decoration for a honeymoon weeks in advance but no reply. Second, when I arrived I spoke English but was greeted in darijah. Maybe because of my wife but soon the receptionist asked for my marriage certificate. I read this law ended in may 2024. After presenting it everything was okay. Third, I didn’t request a view but my room was below the lobby and can only see a cement wall. The kids club was nearby also making lots of noise. The rooms are supposed to be “soundproof” and the pillows are too soft making them difficult to support your head. No information for WiFi or room service anywhere in the room. Finally, I went to breakfast one hour before closing and they stopped serving food already. Most of the fruits and pastries were gone. Nobody checking on us if we needed napkins or extra forks. I can only compare to other stays in Morocco but I stayed at cheaper places with better service. It’s also far away from the beach and the rest of town. Hotel feels small. Valet was friendly though.
