We stayed at The Haymarket Hotel for our 40 wedding anniversary and were there for 4 nights. The hotel is great, oldy worldly but also modern vibes, unique swimming pool with very colorfull umbrellas and lounge beds, very cool ! Staff were brilliant, looked after us and had a treat for our anniversary weekend, so friendly and always happy to help and go the extra mile. Cant recommend The Haymarket enough and we will be back.

Over the past 25 years or so, I’ve stayed at seven of the eight Firmdale hotels (some of them multiple times) in London…and loved every one of them. Not this time. Why? My room was beautiful, spacious, and in impeccable condition. I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Brumos, the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a teen party with a DJ being held around the pool in the basement, and the bass was so thumping that I could not only hear it, I could feel it underfoot. At 11:15 pm (after several complaints to the front desk), I finally gave up trying to sleep, packed my bags, and moved to a different hotel. I’m astonished that what I consider to be the best hotel chain in the world allows a situation like this to develop. The comfort of your paying guests should be paramount, not offering obnoxiously loud parties for teenagers.

The Haymarket is in a great location with well decorated, comfortable rooms. House keeping is exceptional. The indoor swimming pool area is stunning. The gym has what you need but is cramped. Fresh daily green or orange carrot juice is also delicious.

I can't say enough good things about the Firmdale, Haymarket Hotel. First off, the location is fantastic, 5-7 minute walks from Charing Cross, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. With all the major Theaters at the doorstep. More importantly than the location is the service you will receive from everyone there. From the doormen, front desk and concierge you will be assisted by a friendly, warm, welcoming team. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and have all the amenities you could need for your stay. Breakfast was a pleasure as were greeted every day by a wonderful hostess (Shaniha, apologies for spelling) and the wait staff, Santa, Hadrian, Asumi, Shaquan, Shiva and Mariana. Evening drinks became a fun part of our routine daily where we were indulged nightly the fun and fabulous bar staff of Naz, Marek, Victoria, Loki, Josh and Jeneba! The decor is vibrant and unique adding that boutique feel, with aa large indoor pool/party area with bar in the basement complete with spa rooms and a gym. This hotel really does have everything to make your stay in London both refreshing and fun and I honestly can say it's been such a wonderful experience I would never think about another hotel in London. I hope all the staff members we encountered are able to understand that they really made the stay for us as amazing as it was and they are all truly appreciated for it. Thank you all

I've been traveling for decades, and our stay here (for a couple) was perhaps the best ever. We booked a Deluxe Room, which apparently was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite at the corner of the property (windows on two sides!). The bathroom was to die for: a spacious monument of granite and glass, with a big old style bathtub and a shower with amazing water pressure. The restaurant was gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was delightful. I liked the "Honesty Bar" where any time of day you can get yourself a cocktail, champagne, etc. and simply sign the sheet. Next trips to London, we will be staying here for sure. Thank you Haymarket Hotel!

This hotel is TRULY incredible. We felt so safe, the employees were amazing and gave us special treats every night for the Taylor swift concert. They made sure we were taken care of when our luggage was lost from the airline. They genuinely cared about us and chatted with us every time we came down. The room was spacious and comfortable bedding. The shower water pressure was great. Good location for Piccadilly square shopping and dining. The bar was great and drinks were amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.

I can not say enough about the staff at the Haymarket. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to help with whatever you needed. Our room was clean, and very quiet, with comfortable beds as well. We will definitely stay here again!

I was pretty upset when we first arrived because we were given an "upgrade" to a HUGE room decorated in all grey and black. This happened to us at the same hotel a year prior during the coronation and we asked to change rooms to something with more color. The staff was very accomodating and moved us to rooms we absolutely loved. This trip were were moved into room 304 which was decorated in pinks and greens. We LOVED IT!!! There were views onto the kings theatre and we even heard them singing in the morning. It was delightful! As always, the coffee was outstanding and the food delicious. We are headed back to London in a few days to stay at the number 16 hotel for 5 days. Praying for another brightly decorated room with great views in an area we adore. Thank you Firmdale Hotels!! Also, we are staying at their new hotel in New York City in September. Can\'t wait!!!!

Very welcoming and responsive staff. Beautiful and quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast. Convenient walk to so many visitor attractions. The only shortfall we found was the absence of a coffee and tea maker in the room which would have been handy because of our early morning departure. Have stayed here before, and would certainly return and stay again.

The hotel is updated& beautiful! The staff could not be more accommodating, friendly and attentive. The room's are very large with an amazing amount of storage for travelers. 2 well lit closets with shelf space & plenty of hanging room with hangers in addition to multiple dressers with drawers. I love to be able to unpack when I arrive & I couldn't even fill the amount of space given. The shower pressure was among the best I have ever had, including my home. The signature products they use - from room sprays to candles to shampoos & lotions - smell unbelievable. It was just a wonderful stay in the most amazing neighborhood. Theatersat your doorstep, literally, 5 minute walk to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, 2 minutes to Leicester Square and 10 minutes on foot to The Thames and London Eye. I would absolutely stay again without hesitation! If hard pressed, my only complaint would be the lighting in the room if you're trying to put on makeup for a special event. It's a little dark & the bathroom too bright. A plug-in light up magnifying mirror would have pushed my rating to over the 10 I already give it!

The property is very nice and it’s a good central location. However, they put us in an accessible room which we did not request. And even though it was considered an upgrade to our original reservation when I asked if we could have the room we booked they said they were sold out. I was disappointed and not happy having to deal with a low sink and bathroom that was meant for accessibility.

We had a lovely night at The Haymarket celebrating our anniversary for a quick 24 hours without the kids. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite which was really spacious, decorated beautifully and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower and bath (with a tv!) My husband said it was one of the top five showers of his life and he could have drowned in the shower because the water pressure and volume was so good! Every single staff member we encountered seemed genuinely happy to be there and willing to assist us with anything we needed. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we had reservations elsewhere and unfortunately didn’t have time to use the pool facilities but the rooms and service alone were enough to ensure that we will definitely return.

We stayed at The Haymarket Hotel for our 40 wedding anniversary and were there for 4 nights. The hotel is great, oldy worldly but also modern vibes, unique swimming pool with very colorfull umbrellas and lounge beds, very cool ! Staff were brilliant, looked after us and had a treat for our anniversary weekend, so friendly and always happy to help and go the extra mile. Cant recommend The Haymarket enough and we will be back.

I can't say enough good things about the Firmdale, Haymarket Hotel. First off, the location is fantastic, 5-7 minute walks from Charing Cross, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. With all the major Theaters at the doorstep. More importantly than the location is the service you will receive from everyone there. From the doormen, front desk and concierge you will be assisted by a friendly, warm, welcoming team. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and have all the amenities you could need for your stay. Breakfast was a pleasure as were greeted every day by a wonderful hostess (Shaniha, apologies for spelling) and the wait staff, Santa, Hadrian, Asumi, Shaquan, Shiva and Mariana. Evening drinks became a fun part of our routine daily where we were indulged nightly the fun and fabulous bar staff of Naz, Marek, Victoria, Loki, Josh and Jeneba! The decor is vibrant and unique adding that boutique feel, with aa large indoor pool/party area with bar in the basement complete with spa rooms and a gym. This hotel really does have everything to make your stay in London both refreshing and fun and I honestly can say it's been such a wonderful experience I would never think about another hotel in London. This hotel is TRULY incredible. We felt so safe, the employees were amazing and gave us special treats every night for the Taylor swift concert. They made sure we were taken care of when our luggage was lost from the airline. They genuinely cared about us and chatted with us every time we came down. The room was spacious and comfortable bedding. The shower water pressure was great. Good location for Piccadilly square shopping and dining. The bar was great and drinks were amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is updated& beautiful! The staff could not be more accommodating, friendly and attentive. The room's are very large with an amazing amount of storage for travelers. 2 well lit closets with shelf space & plenty of hanging room with hangers in addition to multiple dressers with drawers. I love to be able to unpack when I arrive & I couldn't even fill the amount of space given. The shower pressure was among the best I have ever had, including my home. The signature products they use - from room sprays to candles to shampoos & lotions - smell unbelievable. It was just a wonderful stay in the most amazing neighborhood. Theatersat your doorstep, literally, 5 minute walk to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, 2 minutes to Leicester Square and 10 minutes on foot to The Thames and London Eye. I would absolutely stay again without hesitation! If hard pressed, my only complaint would be the lighting in the room if you're trying to put on makeup for a special event. It's a little dark & the bathroom too bright. A plug-in light up magnifying mirror would have pushed my rating to over the 10 I already give it!

This property was convenient and walkable to the theater (Phantom of the Opera was across the street and another theater was next door) and surrounding activities - National Gallery was right around the corner and Buckingham Palace was approximately 15 minutes with a nice tree-lined walk. The hotel had fun colors and decor, but in a tasteful way, and the staff were SUPERB, especially the staff at the concierge desk. They went out of their way to help with anything and everything during our entire stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Haymarket. The location is perfect - walkable to all the sites and the underground at Picadilly Circus. The room amply accommodated one adult and two children (ages 11 and 13). We arrived at the hotel early (9:00am) after taking a redeye to LHR and they had a room ready for us by 10am. The breakfast was very good. I really appreciated the staff's kindness and hospitality. Highly recommend.

Very welcoming and responsive staff. Beautiful and quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast. Convenient walk to so many visitor attractions. The only shortfall we found was the absence of a coffee and tea maker in the room which would have been handy because of our early morning departure. Have stayed here before, and would certainly return and stay again.

Having tried many hotels in London - smaller and larger ones, it is fair to say that the Haymarket hotel is in a different league - service is outstanding, rooms top and decor amazing - what could be slightly better to hit 10 out of 10 would be the breakfast - a little more love into the cockery would do wonders.

The Haymarket Hotel is a little oasis in the Piccadilly/Trafalgar Square area. So there are posher parts of town (e.g. Mayfair) but this is very convenient to theatres, etc. Everything was great. My only quibble was disorganization in the breakfast room.

I've been traveling for decades, and our stay here (for a couple) was perhaps the best ever. We booked a Deluxe Room, which apparently was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite at the corner of the property (windows on two sides!). The bathroom was to die for: a spacious monument of granite and glass, with a big old style bathtub and a shower with amazing water pressure. The restaurant was gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was delightful. I liked the "Honesty Bar" where any time of day you can get yourself a cocktail, champagne, etc. and simply sign the sheet. Next trips to London, we will be staying here for sure. Thank you Haymarket Hotel!

Our stay at the Haymarket Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel staff were very professional and genuinely friendly, always ready to arrange transportation, thoughtful restaurant recommendations, seamless reservations and even simple check‑ins about us that felt sincere. The hotel restaurant had a trendy vibe for happy hours and late-night tea & dessert and a refined dinner side with incredible and very special servers (loved our chats with all of them…especially Alexandra & Victoria). The hotel’s retro‑whimsical design is beautiful throughout, and the pool is truly stunning. Our room was wonderfully appointed, with double‑sided closets and shelving, bathrooms with double sinks and every comfort considered. The location couldn’t be better — steps from theaters, parks, museums, restaurants and so much more. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we can’t wait to return. ❤️
Our stay at the Haymarket Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel staff were very professional and genuinely friendly, always ready to arrange transportation, thoughtful restaurant recommendations, seamless reservations and even simple check‑ins about us that felt sincere. The hotel restaurant had a trendy vibe for happy hours and late-night tea & dessert and a refined dinner side with incredible and very special servers (loved our chats with all of them…especially Alexandra & Victoria). The hotel’s retro‑whimsical design is beautiful throughout, and the pool is truly stunning. Our room was wonderfully appointed, with double‑sided closets and shelving, bathrooms with double sinks and every comfort considered. The location couldn’t be better — steps from theaters, parks, museums, restaurants and so much more. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we can’t wait to return. ❤️

From now on, the Haymarket Hotel will be the only place we stay while in London! Everything was superb. Gorgeous hotel with beautifully decorated rooms & extremely comfortable beds as well as luxury amenities. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly too. The restaurant was spectacular as well and went out of their way to accommodate our special request. The relaxation pool is an added bonus after a long day in the city.
