Amerivu Inn And Suites New Richmond

The cafe was just across the parking lot, but the menu that the hotel had in the room was OLD and had incorrect prices. Our main attraction was the low price and THE HOT TUB and pool. BUT, the hot tub was out of service (for approximately 15 days already). The pool was very cold. The breakfast only was until 9am and didn't have much on it. We had reserved a 2nd floor balcony, but were given a patio on the main lever, which worked out great for us since we walked across the parking lot to the cafe. We moved our table and chairs from the patio to the lawn for some great sunshine.

I fell like an uninvited guest. Hot tub not working.

Unclean, super sketchy. Hot tub broken. Did not feel safe at all with children. No elevator. Will not go back. Absolutely not the quality of the price point. This place felt like a $60 motel.

Staff never at the front desk, have to call them. Room was descent, good bed and sheets, nice bathroom, toilet could be a lot taller. Hot tub and pool were good. Place just has a smell when you first enter and the breakfast area was a little smelly as well.

The people who worked there were great and the pool was immaculate and really warm (the hot tub had half the jets out but the ones that worked worked well. The balcony and view were lovely. The location was convenient. The bathroom was clean. The fish tank gorgeous. But this is why I’m doing this review, as it was not safe for little kids ( I had a 20 month and 7 year old grandchildren). The door between the next room couldn’t be locked and my granddaughter kept going in there. They finally found the key to lock it but keeping her away in the meantime was tough). The bolt on the main door was not on well and we had to jam coolers and suitcases up against it so my granddaughter didn’t break it outright. It was pulling off. Half the breakfast stuff was not set up or working. The creamer for the coffee was spoiled and lumpy and had to be thrown out. The juice machines didn’t work. There was a questionable stain that looked biological on the room carpet. When we asked for help they helped where they could, but did not offer a room with a working bolt. And most concerning of all, when my daughter had to go back because she left something in the room, they just said take any key… they will work. I know mine stopped working and had to be replaced the next morning but she was pretty freaked out that it was that non secure that anyone could go in. So I promised her I would do a review in case anyone is traveling with small children, who need a heads up. Sorry.

we planned a family vacation at this hotel. the hot tub jets did not work and there is mold around the tub, the pool is 75 degrees, per desk staff, too cold for swimming or fun for the kids and there was blood on the deck of the pool. The rooms were dirty, hair in the beds, bathrooms unclean , carpet soggy wet, smelly. After being there for 1 hour, we left and went to another hotel. Will NEVER stay here again. So disappointed as we were so looking forward to this get away with family and friends.

Hallway carpet dirty & SMELLED. No breakfast 2 of 3 days. Unprofessional staff- sat in lounge chair in front of TV mostly. Rooms clean, but in sad need of renovation- cracked drywall. Unsafec parking lot- no attempt to clear thick ice.

I had to pay another $22 at check in because my room wasnt ready. The jets in hot tub arent wirking and they werent working last year. I specifically ask about this before booking and was told it was working. So i was lied to and it cost more. Im not happy. Tgen the air-conditioning is making noise and kept me awake after being up for two days. Im tired and hungry. Ill see what breakfast brings!

Room was extremely dirty. Tons of dust and con webs all over the room. Toilet was dirty too. “Streaks” in the bowl and. Dirty seat. The shampoo and conditioner was also used. Could clearly see they were partly empty. I have a few pictures of the room, but can’t post them.

The room had old decor that had dried grasses that dropped onto the bed and headboard. Everything was dusty. The "breakfast" was in a closed off room with wet carpet and fruit flies. Sugar was crusted onto the jar and would not come out. I just gave up and spilled it out. New management would be good to keep the place clean as staff just sits on couch in front of TV. They could also make simple repairs. We wont be back. Unfortunately. *note: When we were checking out, there was one young staff that was very friendly that may have been housekeeping. So not all was terrible.

This hotel was FILTHY! The bed was made but dirty linens. Tiolet was filthy and disgusting. Bugs everywhere. Horrible

If you love 3 inch long thick black pubic hair all over your bathroom floor you will love this place! Had our neighbors screaming and blasting music from 3am till 430am having to call the front desk twice and had to convince him that he needs to come and deal with it. Breakfast is a joke, weird stains all over the room, splatters on the ceiling and on the carpet, and the shower drain is so plugged you are standing in 8 inches of water by the time you are done showering if you are lucky and don’t run out of hot water.

Towels smelled moldy, had to ask for new towles, room service never came, pool water was filthy, only had a fridge and nothing else, carpet was missing in areas, broken furniture, smelled like mold through entire hotel

My hotel room was not clean upon arrival, no toilet paper on the bathroom, hair all over the bathroom, ants on the bathroom floor, hotel room looked like it was decorated in the 90’s. Almost reminded of a hotel you rent by the hour

This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Sheets were dirty, slept in clothes on top of the bed. Place smelled like cat urine. Doors were dirty, water bottle and beer can on the floor. Left a day early couldn't stay there any longer. Health department should shut this place down. I'm contacting them tomorrow. Want a refund of one night

Bed was in very bad shape. Rooms are ok. They need to clean the filters in the wall units

There is a serious mold issue in that building Hot tub out of service Patio door to my room was unlocked at checkin Once I secured the patio door and verified it was Locked I was able to simply pick up just a little and open the patio door with the lock still engaged

I didn’t get no balcony

Musty smelling, plastic on roof indicates roof had leaked. No glasses in room or bathroom. Not exceptionally clean. Often unstaffed, with sign to call a number for assistance.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and bathroom was recently remodeled. It is an older building. The walls are paper thin and can hear others talk. We used white noise app to cancel out sound.

Booked a balcony room. No balcony. Dirty, broken door, stained carpet. Broken bed

The bed was comfortable, but that was about the only good thing. The waffle maker and juice machine were not working.

I was promised a deluxe room with a king size bed. That was not the case. The bathroom was dirty. EVERYTHING was outdated and in need of repair or replacement. I was on the first floor and window just had a simple latch that could have been jimmied open. Did not feel safe. Many things broken, needing paint, ETC

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. 4pm on a Friday, when the hotel was sold out. I called the number posted… and after a few minutes someone came out. He was very polite and nice, but it still took forever to check in. We were in a time crunch, as we had a ride coming between 5 and 515. We got into the room and tried to turn on the TV and it didn’t work. After spending 15 minutes trying to diagnose the issue, we ended up asking the front desk to fix it. The manager (?) came to our room (barefoot) and spent over 20 minutes trying to fix it, as I was trying to get ready. He said it would be fixed when we got back, I explained I didn’t want anyone in my room while we were gone. Finally, with 10 minutes to spare before we had to leave, he hooked a new DVD up and had it working. Other issues: the door between rooms did not lock. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The floors were dirty, like with actual dirt, the tub had dirt in it also. The outlet for the microwave did not work, so had to use the bathroom plug in. And the blow dryer did not work, so I had to find a house keeper in the morning to get a new one. The staff was very nice, but they need to clean up their act. Was not impressed,

Waited at empty front desk about 5 min — bell on wall had flower / flag on it and it was not marked to ring for service. Entry doors were dirty, parking lot/landscaping — curb appeal was run-down, un-inviting. If the room was $60/ night I would not have been so concerned. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. I could not access any channel on the TV (or ask for help from front desk) Tub was stained, plumbing fixtures discolored, dull—like very old or poorly maintained. Toiletry products were partially used. No liner for aluminum (?) ice bucket. Top of dresser was broken in several places (some stone? Or synthetic stone like marble) Bar for shower curtain and hanging clothes was PVC pipe with fittings to attach to wall. The bed appeared clean and adequate. I had working electrical outlets to charge my phone. Offered internet service but I chose not to use as the place felt “sketchy “ Breakfast bar — coffee and creamer. Juice machine marked out of flavor, no fruit or pastry, eggs, etc. two waffle irons that were cold — didn’t bother to check if there was batter available Pictures online were not representative of the current conditions. I’d like a full refund.

The people working the front desk did not communicate with us at all. Instead, they just sat on their phones or didn’t say a word who is the most disgusting hotel and breakfast area that I have ever been in and we did not feel safe there at all.

I hate to say it, but the staff was overwhelmed and unable to keep up. They didn’t know how to check us in and had trouble making a key card. This situation involved the staff walking in another guest’s room while they were there using the master key. The coffee/breakfast was disorganized and lacking cups and beverages. I finally just went to McDonalds to get a cup of coffee. The room was okay except for the bathroom which had unpatched holes in the wall, cockroaches scuttling about and the floor next to the tub was in need of repair. I felt for the staff person who really was trying to take care of guests but seemed unaware of the systems with which to do so.

This place is falling apart at the seams. Needs some TLC. The gentleman at the desk told me 3 or 4 times “you are wrong” when I was trying to get in the internet instead of helping me. Then upstairs we were having trouble with the electronic key and asked for help. He grabbed it out of my husbands hand and said “you are wrong again”. When I told him he needed to learn how to talk to people he was shocked. I think he felt badly and had no idea how rude he was being. Still not pleasant.

Nice, quiet, safe area to feel at home. Every room has its own theme which ads a personal touch. Cute and quaint cafe next door with reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I were going to Taylors falls for a day trip and chose to stay close to the area. This hotel popped up and was reasonably priced, so I booked it as the places to stay were narrowing quickly. Our overall stay was great. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had a leak in the bathroom on our last night. We reported it immediately and the desk person offered towels and a bucket. Needless to say, I was furious at the lack of concern or compassion and was told that they were aware of the situation. I decided to take photos for my protection and in doing so, noticed other conditions that I was not aware existed. I talked to the desk person in the morning before checking out and this person exhibited more concern and urgency. She took my complaint and viewed the photos and also informed me they were aware and this has happened in the past. She gave me the manager direct number to call and follow up. I spoke to the manager the next day when I was home and explained the conditions. Let the manager know that I had photos and concerns abot a few conditions that needed to be rectified for the next guests so that they do not have that experience and was told that they have a n investigation and will resolve. I told them I would need compensation and she fairly compensated me for one night stay. I thought this was fair since our stay was great in lieu of the incident. I pray that they took my recommendations seriously to help their establishment give the best to future patrons.

Not worth the money I spent but with limited options in the area for the event I attended it had to do. Very run down, needs major updating and cleaning and while they are at it, better decorating. Area is nice.

Loved it! We are on a long road trip and staff was very accommodating and friendly! The room was perfect for our needs and very clean! We slept soundly and were never disturbed! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a safe, clean and quiet place to rest from your travels!😊

He said a 24 hour notice was required. I told him this was a first. Even in LA they allow for a credit on early check out. I would drive to another city before staying there again.

Easy to get to off highway. Clean comfy bed but rest of room was dirty. Floors not vacummed and shower curtain gross. Needs major update, carpet, and paint. No breakfast at 6 when they said there was supposed to be. We had to leave and nothing was put out by 6:30.

The room was nice, they had breakfast in the mornings, waffles., cereal, fruit, donuts, juice or coffee. They had a pool but it was a little chilly for me to yry out but there was some kids playing. I personally enjoyed the large hot tub. Everyone was pleasant, and helpful
