Days Inn by Wyndham Fredericksburg North

Parking easy, ac working, beds good, shower pressure great, mini fridge and microwave very clean and working, didn’t use the coffee machine but noticed walls had coffee on them. lol. Towels and bedding had stains… I’m not sure if other hotels just buy more towels or use different cleaning product I’m not sure… but I’m sure they were washed so all good. lol When breakfast grab and go runs out…. You’re out of luck even if it’s an hour before it’s over. So went hungry but there’s Ihop next door lol! Overall happy! 4/5! :) Go with the flow of life! If anyone reads this may you have a good day!!!! Take care!!!

The outside lawn and walkways were dirty. Garbage everywhere. At 7AM thewre was no coffee left and none could be found. There were only tiny muffins.The orange and apple juice ran out. I would not recommend anyone stay here. The outside whewre the cars parked did not feel or look safe. I was worried about a break in for my car.

Poor tv quality , all vending machines didn’t work, housekeeping staff walked into room while we in it and even had do not disturb sign on door

Traveling down 95 heading for Florida. It was getting late and we needed gas. We pulled off 95 and got gas and then went to waffle house. We were looking up rooms around that were economical since we hadnt planned to spend the night anywhere. The other reviews for this place were not fantastic but the price was right so we gave it a try. The facility is older and shows her age but still has good bones. Plenty of parking in a very well lit parkling lot. Check in was simple and easy. Staff was friendly and gracious. Room was on 2nd level, room smelled clean up entry w/o noxious chemical smells. Bed was made crisply and altho the bedding was tired, it was found to be clean and fresh smelling. Bed was comfortable and wrapped in a zippered prorector. Room was mostly clean, with the exception of the floor and some dusty corners. Flat surfaces had been wiped down and the toilet/sink area were sparkling. Fridge was good and cold. Ac/Heat unit worked appropriately, albiet a little loud. Shower had decent pressure and the water was adequately hot. Towels were flimsy but got the job done. No real breakfast to speak of despite the advertisement of such. This isnt a place i would recommend to folks who are going to nit pick every little thing. But for what we needed... a comfortable bed, in an affordable room, with a decent shower to start the day, we would definitely stay here again.

Parking did not feel safe. I was put at end of building where there was a group of cars all being people of color. Just did not feel right. So I went to me room. Although it may have been freshly cleaned the edges and all were disgusting. I got my ice and locked myself in the room for night. I left at 2:15 am and upon arriving to my car and putting my bags and cat in I noticed a women changing a baby’s diaper in the backseat of her car. I am not sure what was going on there but someone should look into it. I will never stay there again.

Arrived to no one at front desk. There was a sign taped to glass stating they would be back in 5 minutes, it took longer than that for someone to show up. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The room was clean enough. We did not see an elevator to access 2nd floor, we were directed to the stairs.

Pool

Breakfast consist of yogourt and muffins! So that was a disappointment. Pool was open but unswimable cause so dirty. Another disappointment. Tv is analog so the images are blurred! Another disappointment. Pay a little more and book somewhere else.

Drugs, prostitution, no tv front desk was not to friendly only the female I didn’t get her name she was there on Saturday the 20th other then that there was a lot going on ppl giving off nasty looks and bad vibes and the pool needs to be cleaned on a regular basis so to bugs and leafs house keepers was nice and me and my family was being watched by some guys in a jeep then the cops came up out of nowhere and arrested the driver in the jeep the other 2 guys took off

Both rooms had bugs. It smelled terrible. It looked like somebody had already stayed in the room before us. Just a very disgusting place.

Unclean

We stayed at the Days Inn in Fredericksburg as a half way point to our final destination. The location was convenient, right off the hughway and relatively easy to find. The room was spacious with a desk, small bench, king size bed, mini fridge and a microwave, however the floors were absolutely disgusting and the fridge leaked all over the floor. We paid an extra fee for our dogs to stay which is supposed to go toward cleaning but the condition of the floors would suggest they have never been cleaned. After walking for 10 minutes in socks on the floors, the soles of my white socks were stained a dark brown. This happened again after a shower and walking barefoot briefly in the room leaving my feet covered in dirt. The walls are very thin, you can hear the highway all night, as well as anyone talking in parking lot or in the hallways. We were fortunate to have a ridiculous woman shouting outside in the parking lot at all hours of the night which resulted in my dog being very upset and we didn't get a lot of sleep. Another disgusting find was one of the face towels hanging was covered in some random strangers pubic hair, insert vomit emoji here... On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. The washroom was outdated, but clean, and there was a nice large countertop at the sink. We were pleased to have our dogs welcomed, however if we stay again, we will be requesting a room that doesn't face the highway.

I walked in the room and killed 4 roaches,bathroom was not cleaned. One of the cleaning ladies asked me if I was leaving while peaking in my room. When I left clothing items became missing and a jewelry chain. My food was thrown away and when returned to same room room was changed next to ice machine. 554am truck drivers were filling ice coolers until 7am. Continental breakfast was taken by everyone and not replenished and when asked I was told no. I went to IHop that’s right next door for breakfast. Bed was on a medal frame and a Box.

The rom was not clean- hair in the bathroom and marks on the bedding. Even stains on the ceilings.

Very dirty location, found cockroaches in the bathroom, the bedsheets weren’t cleaned, TV was there just for decoration…..

Crawling with roaches and smelled like urine. Could not stay there. Run don't walk away.

I had roaches and i coils feel the bed bugs on my leg, I had to leave and stay with friends at another room. Please don't stay there.

Found roaches, hair, and dirt everywhere. Toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall.

The room did not look like pictures. There were obvious signs of water damage and dried blood on the toilet.

The in-wall A/C unit is loud as hell. Strange room layout with a tiny separate bathroom and coffee machine next to the sink. No cable TV. Only analog over-the-air channels with low resolution. Worst experience ever!

The room had sticky surfaces on pretty much everything in the room. The tv was blurry and when I asked if they could fix it or change rooms they said no. The walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors conversations word for word with very little distortion. It’s got the low price tag for a reason. Spend the extra $25 or so this sloppy hotel is a heaping dumpster fire to say the least

Quick stay, walls were so thin you heard EVERYTHING including the traffic on I95. Front desk was very efficient and friendly. Rooms had updated decor but details showed it's still an old building with issues. We were there less than 9 hours so it was ok for the price.

Tv didnt work,

Was the right price. Basic room but not sound proof. Good mattress but not fussy about it he bath tub. Didn’t take my shower.

all was good except the bed. the bed was awful, it felt like slab of concrete, was not able to have any rest sat up in chair.

Out dated, bathroom tub was terrible. Vanity and hairdryer were veey poor shape.

We checked in and the guy at the counter kept trying to give us two doubles when I booked a king room. We got up to our room and the tv and A/C didn’t work. He moved us to another room that was two doubles and that A/C was crap too. Tv was bad as well. Some stations were just frozen in place.

The kingsize bed was noisy, the TV had very limited channels. It was not up to Wyndham standards.

I liked the convenience near I-95, unfortunately our beds were very old, one was broken and the bed bases were noisy while just turning over to sleep. I was not happy with the quality of stay.

When I booked, I was never told a minimum age you had to be. I’ve booked previously with this hotel and company so I thought it shouldn’t be a problem and I prepaid my booking. When i got to the checkin the guy was very nice and polite but as soon as he checked my ID and realised I was under 21 he became very rude. I was trying to figure out how I would get refunded If I wasn’t given a room and he just rudely kept interrupting saying it wasn’t the hotels problem and that he needed to get to the next customer. I’ve tried messaging and calling the hotel multiple times to figure out my refund and I’ve yet to get it. 9 days without an answer and a refund and I’m furious. I will never be booking here again.

Roaches in my room, had to be moved. Still roaches in the other room. Front desk staff rude and unprofessional. Front desk person came knocking on my door early in the morning asking questions about my service dogs after I checked in. Requesting me to show proof that they are service dogs . Totally displeased with the entire stay.

He gave me a room at the back of the building and there was no close parking. When he realized I had so much work to carry to my room, he found me a room on the first floor, where it was closer to parking. A friend told me not to stay at the Days Inn last year so I didn’t. I decided to save some money at the Days Inn and boy am I glad I did. The other place wasn’t any nicer for the price. The room was clean. The bed was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and an ice machine. . Plenty of hot water and a ice machine.

The stay was decent overall. I would stay here again if I had to or was on a budget, but there were definitely some things that could have been better. I was glad I brought my own towels and washcloths because the ones provided had hair, stains, and marks on them. Cleanliness could have been improved in general—sheets could have been cleaner, surfaces were dusty, and the floors needed more attention. One thing I really didn’t appreciate was that I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, yet housekeeping still tried to enter my room. As a female traveling alone, that didn’t feel safe. Not only is it concerning that they could have walked in while I was there, but if I had left the room, they could have come in and anything could have been touched or taken. When a Do Not Disturb sign is on the door, it’s there for a reason, and that should be respected. This is definitely something management should take more seriously to protect guests and their belongings. On a positive note, I appreciated having a TV, microwave, and fridge in the room. But overall, it was just an average stay—nothing great that would make me want to come back unless I had no other option.

its close to the interstate and some shopping for necessities

This place is good for short stays, nothing fancy but still the room was very clean and relatively safe. The area didn't look seedy, no loud neighbors, or questionable behavior or people hanging around the area, and it is close to the freeway with some nearby dining options (ihop, McDonalds, Panera). Front desk staff were nice and assured our room was reserved eventhough we will be checking in late. The main reason I booked here was because of the price when bundled with airfare and it was close enough to the Quantico national cemetery but for next time I will book closer to Dale city, Dumfries or Woodbridge up north because that area is much nicer, and it is much closer to the cemetery and airport up north. The traffic was pretty bad when we were there (June2024) with construction and other traffic delays which made 20 mins travel time into 45mins. Also, the hotel is like a motel 6 where you can park in front of your room which I didn't know until I got there but that was my fault for not checking, I was thinking it was going to be like La Quinta or other hotels where nobody else can access your room unless they enter the main building especially since our door had a loose ball and chain lock. Overall, good hotel for the price you pay.

Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are a little small, so if you have more than one person it might be awkward. But for one person like myself it’s perfectly fine. Prices are very affordable and you are right off of I-95. Highly recommend! Good place to stop if you are driving South and looking to sleep for the night!

It was okay. Compared to my previous night's stay at a Quality Inn in Santee, it was superb. But, the parking access was poor, the noise level between rooms was not good. Easy access off I-95. The price was affordable and, if I was traveling in the area, I'd consider staying there again.

The free breakfast needs a little work! Only offered weak juices from a mix and muffins that were more preservatives than actual muffins. The coffee was like drinking sludge from a pond! Sludge would have tasted better!

False advertising for brrakfast

My favorite part was the staff. The front desk attendant was accommodating and professional. The breakfast options are basic … few pieces of fruit, yogurts , muffins & granola bars. The Inn needs a-lot of updating . It seems the property houses a lot of less fortunates. The stay is not bad if it’s for 1-2 days. I will advise you to check your bedding before you settle in. I had to have a room change due to dirty linen and cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. The bathroom is small. the shower and toilet is in one room and the sink is on the outside. My tub was not draining properly. We were stuck in still water while we bathed. There was no bar soap provided but body wash was provided. I’ll admit it was quiet. I had no issues with any of the other guests and/or tenants. Do not book this Inn expecting 5-star treatment. It’s literally the most basic of stays.

No breakfast after 8:30 am? I walked over to get a coffee and a muffin. All gone. Actually looking like nothing was put out? No coffee in lobby 24/7 as advertised. Small shower and room needs a deep cleaning. Noise from highway and trucks. TV is on the fritz? Thought I could at least watch tv? Will not stay again. Very disappointed.
