Red Carpet Inn & Suites

This is pretty expensive for this type of motel. Even though they did their best to clean the rooms, it still feels like an old cheap motel room. If I were the owner, I would spend some money on the exterior, staircase, lobby and hall. Parking on site is almost inexistent. Only 4-5 cars can park on site. Everyone else needs to park in the back on the near hotel across the street.. But if you are on the budget, there are not many places where you can stay at this price. Just know what to expect. If you have a big luggage, you need to take the stairs. They have no elevator.

Elevator didn't work

Quick easy check in, Sketchy building the smell in the halls is unbearable needs some attention and parking is very tight, but for a quick 5hours it worked, has potential with work, good location.

For the price of 245 I was expecting a lot better only thing good was the free parking

the property has horrible internet. I've stayed there many times and complained about it. Still no change. I stay there for convenience. I attend the DJ EXPO every year and they have their Convention every year.

I would not stay here again it just was not for us. Parking so very tight luckily, we were able to walk to where we needed to go. Did not really talk to any staff members only when we checked in and checked out. Stairway smelled like old socks; you can only have two people on the elevator. Room was clean.

The elevator was old and decrepit. Only 2ppl alliwed at a time or elevator won't work. The hallway leading to the room had fly traps hanging around. When we got to the room the door look like it belonged somewhere else, it had the treads you use for the bottom of the door around the sides to try and seal it. The refridgerator wouldn't close all the way looked as though it had been dropped or banged up. The closet had spiders crawling and webs like it hadden been used in years. The tub had all this extra caulk all around and it was discolored looked like they got the furniture out of the dump. I had to take a shower with my flipflops on don't know what kind of bacteria was lurking. The air conditioner was blowing air that smelt like stale cigarettes into the room the whole time. Never again.

You are greeted by an aroma of stench and musk. The elevator needs serviced, the carpet on the stairs are filthy, the ice maker is directly in front of the elevator and ice on floor (slipping hazard) the rooms are not clean, appears to be just be new linens brought it. We found mattress stains, pubic hair as well as regular hair, and the molding in the room is chipping, deadbolt didn’t close all the way.. the problems are endless. Avoid at all costs.

The Wi-Fi is horrible! We have to do some work on Wi-Fi and we can’t even get on in our room. There is no dedicated sitting area to have Wi-Fi. I am standing on the balcony and I still can’t get Wi-Fi.

The place is dingy and dirty. The towels are practically see through and stained although they were clearly laundered. They are just very old and used. Beds were comfortable. The room was not bad. The air conditioning worked. Elevator was scary so we didn’t use it. The price was ok but it takes forever to get your security back. Not a place I would recommend nor would I stay there again.

Location and price are worth the stay. Room is clean.

Floors were dirty,elevator did not work .The water came out brown,had to let it run for a long time for it to clear out. Bathtub was rotted out ..Signs says No Refunds ... Only thing good was location.

Staff and cleanliness

The room and linen were clean, ac worked, parking was free and I felt safe. A bonus was the polite and friendly staff. We stayed for one night so we could catch a show and hang out. We really only needed somewhere to sleep and shower and this was perfect and within our budget.

It wasn't as described on the website, it wasn't on the beach, gps took us to a parking garage and your section was full and we had to park on the 4th floor and I had to walk a long way to the office and then he said he has parking available on the street and I had to pay $50 dollars for parking garage because they wouldn't let me out until I paid it and I asked him about getting my money back from the parking garage and he said I would need to fill a complaint, I already had paid you for part of the room when I reserved it and it never said anything about a security deposit and I gave him my card and he put the amount I already paid and the remainder of the room and a deposit and it locked $300 of my money up and I don't think you should be able to take the original amount that I already paid out again... Now the room the elevator was shady and unsafe as it had a note on it that no more than 2 people at a time because it would stop and get stuck, the bathroom has pubic hair on the side of the tub and in the tub, there were bobby pins on the floor behind the door and when we plugged our hair dryer in because yours didn't work it blew the bathroom circuit.... I would like to get some of my money back and the cost of the parking garage and we met someone else who was also staying there and they are going to be filling out a complaint also.... I really recommend you guys do so updated pictures and a more accurate description of your motel and it definitely needs a update!

Flies in room, room smells, cigarettes burns on bedspread

The motel was not the greatest. Not fond of the bedding pillows cleanliness and bathroom towels. Need lots of updates.

The room smelled of nothing but cigarettes. We had to open the door for a little while when we got there.and when we came back to go to sleep. While we were sleeping you could smell the cigarettes stench. The only good thing was the bed was clean and comfortable. They need to put deodorizers for the smells on the rooms. We didn’t even shower there we waited to get to our next hotel room and the first thing we did was shower the stench off.

The room was decent. Only one bath towel per person. No conditioner. WiFi was good. It was quiet. Bed was comfortable.

Loud noises at night

The wifi did not even reach my room on the second floor but other than that my stay was ok. The rooms facing the road arent sound proofed so you hear all the noise going on outside all night long

The bed was super comfy and bedroom was new and nice, but if not, the hotels is really old and so durty, the carpet in the hallway and stairs and the wall were discusting......

Stayed here for one night. The AC was very loud and I thought it was construction at first. The shower water never got hot, and the shower drain was clogged. I only stayed here for one night for a concert and spent most of the night outside of my room so I wasn’t too bothered by it. If you prefer to save money on a room to spend on the experience it’s an okay stay

The bed was clean and soft. It was quiet at night and close to everything. The water pressure was not great. The room other than the bed was pretty dirty and the property in general could use some renovations. I would probably stay again m, though.

Stay was ok. Affordable place, next to resorts and hard rock so it’ll get you to the boardwalk and wherever you need to go. But the outside is still a little sketchy looking. You can tell they tried to recently renovate, but they were a little sloppy in the renovation with a lot of cracks in the drywall. Bed was clean and comfortable and there were usb ports with the outlets.

Only good thing I can say, the staff was pleasant.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. They quickly helped accommodate my friends and I when we asked and we really appreciated their help!!

You get what you pay for. Hallways smell like pot. Parking is across the street behind another hotel. On the deserted side of the boardwalk. Very near to the Hard Rock Estes arena and Resorts Casino.

The building looked sketchy but the room was exactly as in picture and very clean. Hot water stayed hot and all appliances worked very well. Staff were very accommodating and nice. Location is great for walking distance to beach/boardwalk and restaurants. I just disliked the area around the hotel as it just looked dirty to me and too much going on throughout the night, besides that I have no complaints. I just need to see how long until I get my deposit back which I forgot to ask, if it’s longer than 10 days then I’ll call & complain.

3 minute walk to the Atlantic Boardwalk and all the Casinos

An older motel in Atlantic City, but in off season i couldnt find better prices. Abiut 2 blicks from boardwalk so great for access to ocean.

Look, its not the Waldorf, but for the PRICE and LOCATION, its excellent! Walking distance to boardwalk, hotels, casinos and concert venues. The room is fine for a one night stay over, and it is surprisingly quiet and chill. You can literally save $300-$400 a night and STILL be in the heart of the action. We love it. Plan on going back in the future.

It was fine for a quick one night stay. The neighborhood itself is a litlle sketchy, so just really keep your eyes open and stay alert if you have to step out to go get some food.

AC is a rough city, so there’s no nice area except on the boardwalk. However, the Red Carpet is around the corner from Hard Rock so in that sense the location is great.
