My stay overall was nice however our room was covered in ants when we woke last night. I kept getting itchy and had a crawling feeling so I turned on bedside light and there were ants everywhere. The staff was not helpful at all. We spent 4-5 hrs killing ants. It was so bad we opened the sofa bed to sleep and had to request a late check out after not sleeping. We try and go on monthly dates to escape reality and when my monthly date night budget was spent on no sleep its frustrating. Outside of this I loved the layout of the room and the hotel as a whole.

The hotel was fine but on our last day they started working on the roof without closing off the side exits. On our way out the side door to our car we were nearly hit by pieces of shingles and nails as the workers were just throwing them off the roof. I’ve never experienced such irresponsible and dangerous management. I found a manager and he left to tell them to close off the exits - although they didn’t do it for all as the workers were moving around the roof. To top this it off, even though checkout is at 12pm they cleaned my room earlier. When I tried to go back in my room the cleaning lady told me I shouldn’t go back in at 11am because she already cleaned it (even though I hadn’t yet checked out). I told her I never checked out and still had the room for 1 more hour. 15 minutes later someone knocked on the door and tried to walk in again while I was laying down. The door stopper was on so they left.

We arrived at the hotel at 11:40 pm. from our 7 hour drive. We walked in and there was one person ahead of us also checking in and one person requesting to stay an extra night. The man at the counter apologized to each guest for the wait which was not bad at all. When it was our turn to check in, he was so pleasant and he made the check in experience that late at night very easy and he even asked us if we had a floor preference for our room. He told us exactly where to move our car so we would be next to a door to easily get up to our room. Everything from the hotel lobby to our room was clean. The woman the next morning was also very helpful and friendly. We needed a key to our room for our daughter who would be arriving while we were gone. She helped us immediately and my daughter had no issues when she arrived at the hotel. It snowed overnight and while my husband was out brushing off his car, a man from the hotel who was salting the walkways offered to go get a broom to get the snow off. Every associate we encountered during our stay was extremely pleasant and friendly. I would not hesitate to book at this hotel. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.

This hotel is going downhill. Most rooms have a lot of noise when you stay here. Especially it seems the more expensive suites. On top of that the staff is not very friendly often and unprofessional. Today a cleaning person opened my door with a do not disturb sign on the door and came in. 45 min before checkout. The front desk could care less. Also seems to be an ant Infestation in the room I’m in. Put something on table and ants come out. I have stayed here a lot and realize I have never had a sound nights sleep and maybe 1 out 5 times the staff is friendly and helfpul. The convenience is good but don’t think I’m going to stay here again
