The Tropicana Hotel

Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på hotellet. Servicen var mycket bra, rent och fräscht rum och hotellet låg bra placerat. Vi skulle gärna återvända hit nästa gång.

Very nice rooms with all needed amenities. excellent location. Close to the mojo food market, sea point area and ocean, and an hour walk to waterfront (or use uber). Close to hop on-off bus stop. The weather was not for pool time, so did not use that, but the view from top floor is nice, even though it is a small pool and area. My room has a view to some building, but I was not expecting a view, so that was as expected. Nice to be able to open door though (3rd floor). Most staff were very friendly. They clean everyday. I made use of the airport shuttle and the drivers were so nice and friendly, I had some very good chats with them, so highly recommend using this service (additional cost). They do not have a locked baggage storage, but you can leave bags by the reception and they will look after it. In terms of safe areas in Cape Town, this is one of the better locations. There are some homeless in streets nearby, but this is your safer choice compared to downtown. I recommend this apartment hotel, if you look for a place with kitchen and no need for restaurant at hotel.

The hotel is really portly soundproofed. It’s so noisy at all times that it’s impossible to get a good nights sleep

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Everything was working well. The lifts, door locks and Aircon included.

Spacious room! Clean and quiet! Well centered.
