Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park.

Overall pretty good value for money. But it would have been good to make it clear in the comms that the restaurant is closed Mon & Tue and the only other options are 45min drive away!

The kitchen to be shared with eight people is so inadequate and not workable, a tiny fridge, to take turns at the 500cm workbench is terrible tiny & just a microwave. Called this place a lodge and no common room and the eating tables are outside with no shelter! Yes one wet morning!! One could dine next door but closed Monday and Tuesday and the winter months

Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
