AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh

Brand new Marriott (fully renovated legacy hotel). Nice and good location. Lots to be fine tuned but def a good option for Ipoh.

A really good stay - the hotel has been recently refurbished so is much nicer than some older reviews suggest. Our room attendant Rishad was super attentive and kind. Other staff in the hotel were also very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast could be improved but this was the only thing we noted.

The room was so comfy and spacious, love the ambience of the hotel, the design, wonderful and excellent staff, great facilities and aminities provided. Except for breakfast, the choices of foods were so limited, not at par with Marriott hotels.

This hotel is very new, and the property is in a great condition. There is a shopping center with a grocery market across the street. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English vary well in Malaysia.

A safe and quiet hotel. Good shower experience if got bathtub will be perfect.

On the whole, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There was a hiccup when we check in and they could not find our booking. It took some time but was sorted out. One minus point was the drainage at the shower area. The drainage was not good and fast enough for the rain shower and it started to pond and eventually flow out of the shower area. That makes the floor very slippery and thus the chances of slipping and falling is high.

Very comfortable hotel near to good restaurants and not too far from the old town. Loved the swimming pool but would have appreciated a changing room next to the pool. Would definitely stay again

Everything is good, but only the carpark too tight and carpark signboard is too small.

Nice hotel with many dining options all around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and had pretty much everything you need. Hotel amenities were very nice as well.

The hotel is clean and nice. However the service is bad. We booked for 3 and paid extra for it. However, the room is only prepared for 2. We called the service desk,but no one pick up the call. We have no choice but to call general line in order to reach out. We have waited for more than 30 min before someone came to handle the situation.

裝潢華麗。地點位置方便。 可惜洗手間抽風系統比較弱。 最後一晚房間有烏蠅，但職員冷淡反應沒有處理，唯有整晚與烏蠅共存…..

BEWARE! tl;dr: not value for money, poor CS [Facilities] Rooms do not have windows, and they claim to already have disclosed this based on the listing. (Because they say the windows are dark in the pictures) Related to the lack of windows and sunlight is that the rooms get very dusty and dark throughout. Walls are thin, neighbors only need to have a conversation and it can very clearly be heard, imagine having kids next door crying or children jumping above! Water pressure was horribly weak. WiFi is very spotty. Can’t get a decent connection throughout our stay. [Service] Did not appreciate how their first response re:windows is by defending themselves using pictures. Definitely leaves a bad taste to what is supposed to be a trip we were looking forward to.

Die Unterkunft ist praktisch gelegen. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war recht erdrückend, da das Fenster kein Tageslicht rein ließ, da direkt davor eine Wand war. Zimmer war sonst jedoch sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. On the whole, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There was a hiccup when we check in and they could not find our booking. It took some time but was sorted out. One minus point was the drainage at the shower area. The drainage was not good and fast enough for the rain shower and it started to pond and eventually flow out of the shower area. That makes the floor very slippery and thus the chances of slipping and falling is high.

Check in and out service was slow. Room was clean but bed was hard.

Sraff was polite and helpful. Room was specious with necessary amenities. Bed was too soft and came with a unpleasant smell. Toilet cleanliness can be improve.

We were given this room without a window. The hotel counter staff described as a Dark Room. Staff was generally nice. Location is good. It should be rated as three star hotel.

Nice stay, new hotel. Only feedback for further improvement is to soundproof the windows as sound of speeding motorcycles and the morning assembly at the nearby school can be heard from the room.
