If they hand you a key to room 101, hand it back and find another hotel. This was our last hotel booking on our trip to Peru, and the most disappointing. We were exhausted from hiking the Inca Trail and just wanted to watch TV and go to sleep early. Our room was literally right across from the lobby, seating area with a TV blaring, and the elevator...and shared a wall with the kitchen/dining area. It was ridiculously loud!!! There were 2 windows in the room. One looked out into the lobby/elevator, the other had cardboard on it. We asked for a different room and they said they were booked, but would give us a complimentary bottle of wine. What, so we could drink until we passed out and couldn't hear the noise? The rules on the wall were odd also. You must sleep in between the sheets, not on top of them (so they don't have to wash the comforter I assume). We opted to call it a financial loss, hand them the room key, leave and pay for another hotel, which had a far superior atmosphere and cozy comfy room with a TV that didn't require a Google search to figure out. The atmosphere there was not fun at all unlike anywhere else we stayed on our trip. They had 2 bottles of water in the room for teeth brushing, drinking, etc....unlike everywhere else we stayed that had filtered water available. It just wasn't inviting or cozy....aside from the ridiculousness of the room.

The location was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, but noisy. The windows, both bedroom and bathroom opened into the lobby. There was minimal airflow, so the room was stuffy and hot. It was very awkward to have everyone be able to see into the room. The breakfast was nice with lots of options. The bathroom needed a deeper clean, the grout had lots of mold that could have been cleaned with some clorox and a scrub brush. The drains, both shower and sink were slow draining meaning you were standing in water to shower.

Very clean room and nice rooms. Great location 1 min away from Peru rail and right near the San Pedro markets and plaza de areas. Very helpful and friendly staff, would stay again. Also the terrace up top has amazing views
