Tolles Hotel mit Geschichte und einem tollen Flair. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Leider war unser Bett recht laut und hat bei jeder Drehung im Bett geknarzt. An einem Abend gab es eine laute Feier und da das Haus sehr alt ist hat man den Bass der Musik sehr laut im Zimmer gehört. Parkplätze für die Hotelgäste waren wegen der Feier leider auch nicht vorhanden - so mussten wir über Nacht vor einem Geschäft parken und am nächsten Morgen um 7Uhr umparken . Das war ärgerlich und hätte vorher kommuniziert werden können. Das Personal war allerdings sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Equipe muito atenciosa, mas em insuficiente em alguns horários de maior movimento. O hotel também tem um restaurante e, em uma noite, não havia vagas para estacionar porque todas estavam ocupadas pelos hóspedes e pelos clientes do restaurante - sugiro deixar reservadas exclusivamente para hóspedes uma quantidade de vagas, no mínimo, igual à quantidade de quartos ocupados no hotel. De resto, tudo muito bom.

There was a wonderful garden to relax in behind the hotel. The service was amazing and breakfast was fabulous. Parking was extremely convenient and right on site.

What a wonderful traditional Austrian GASTHAUS tastefully redecorated with a beautiful pool that’s good for relaxing, but not really lap swimming. The food is excellent. The waiter from Guinea was wonderful and helped me feel right at home. the room was beautiful the bed very comfortable. It definitely seems like a wedding destination hotel, though it looks like already there is some damage to the new decorations: a chipped bathtub torn carpeting on the stairs too bad the area is beautiful and the place is lovely

The property is pretty. The restaurant is good. Breakfast was ok. We filtered on our search for elevator and a/c. There are 2 separate buildings. The building we were put in had neither. A fan was provide but it was still uncomfortably hot. Slept with the windows open. Parking was difficult. Very limited.

Traditional buildings and a nice breakfast service. Dog friendly. Very convenient if you are driving and want a base for the area without entering the city. Good transport into Salzburg. Only downside was bei g on the top floor with no lift i had to carry up our large cases, fine for me but worth making sure you have a room in the main building or ground floor if you will struggle.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit Charme. Die Mitarbeiter waren stehts freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns dort richtig Wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war dem Stil entsprechend eingerichtet, aber das Bad wurde modernisiert. Es war sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück war wunderbar und vielfältig, auch das Abendessen im Hauseigenen Restaurant kann ich nur Empfehlen. Auch der neue Naturpool und die Sauna waren eine Wohltat. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden es wieder besuchen.

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel, da steckt viel Liebe drin. Mein Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Das übergroße Bett, für mich ganz alleine, hat mich überrascht. Leider war es hier und da staubig und die Toilette nicht ganz so ansehnlich, aber dennoch fühle mich sehr wohl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück super lecker.

När vi kom fram runt 20-tiden fanns ingen personal på plats. Vi fick ett rum som var under all kritik. Hela rummet luktade kloak från toaletten, massa hår på sängen, samt en öppnad vattenflaska som förra gästerna hade druckit ur. Eftersom det var kväll och allt var stängt kunde vi ej få någon hjälp. Efter att ha tjatat oss fram och en personal följde med och luktade i rummet, fick vi ett nytt rum som var bättre men renligheten mindre bra. Vi var nöjda med besöket överlag, frukosten var god och servitörerna var supertrevliga. Receptionisten som försökte gaslighta oss om att det inte luktade behöver jobba på sin attityd och kundbemötande, då hennes kollega även höll med och tyckte att det första rummet var under all kritik. För att vara ett 4-stjärnigt hotell ska man ej behöva sova i kloak.

A traditional Austrian hotel 2 km outside of Salzburg in a lovely quiet village. Great bus links to the city. Very clean and quiet hotel. Breakfasts are fantastic and the restaurant at night is amazing. The food is very high standard and good prices. The garden is lovely to sit in at night. Don’t bother trying to get any pics of the palace next door as you can’t. Staff are really friendly and can speak English if like me you have NO German. Would love to go back.

Het hotel is top! Super vriendelijk personeel, heel beleefd en behulpzaam. Geweldig ontbijt! Kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd maar alles schoon en netjes. Hele fijne tussenstop gehad!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was very nice with a gorgeous view to the mountains and a very comfortable bed. Level of service was fantastic, great breakfast, lovely sauna and friendly staff all around. We also enjoyed lunch at the hotel restaurant, which we definitely would also recommend! Bus into Salzburg is frequent, cheap and easy.

Our stay at the beautiful 16th century Der Schlosswirt zu Anif was lovely. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Kahlil (apologies for incorrect spelling of your name) who was very helpful on our arrival and during our stay. Being such an old historic building, with solid old oak floors all over, it creeks and cracks when you walk across your room which in the day is charming but at night you will wake your sleeping partner. That aside, the place is true to its age and history and as it should be. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable along with the big fluffy pillows. We used the sauna which was lovely and then braved the outdoor pool which was chilly initially but once in and swimming the chill wore off. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious and exquisitely presented. With local wine suggestions from Kahlil that complemented our meal. Equally breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options for continental or a menu for cooked dishes as well. We would recommend for a nostalgic experience, be aware that there are many taxidermy animals around the building, which didn’t bother us.

Very quaint and a little quirky. Excellent food, large bedroom. Although close to the road it was quiet and the village pretty. A good option if you don't want to be in the city centre. Helpful staff. One improvement suggestion would be to include a kettle in the bedroom as well as the coffee machine - especially for UK guests!

What a wonderful traditional Austrian GASTHAUS tastefully redecorated with a beautiful pool that’s good for relaxing, but not really lap swimming. The food is excellent. The waiter from Guinea was wonderful and helped me feel right at home. the room was beautiful the bed very comfortable. It definitely seems like a wedding destination hotel, though it looks like already there is some damage to the new decorations: a chipped bathtub torn carpeting on the stairs too bad the area is beautiful and the place is lovely

Die Anreise nach Salzburg Stadt per Auto gestaltet sich als rasch und problemlos.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit Charme. Die Mitarbeiter waren stehts freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns dort richtig Wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war dem Stil entsprechend eingerichtet, aber das Bad wurde modernisiert. Es war sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück war wunderbar und vielfältig, auch das Abendessen im Hauseigenen Restaurant kann ich nur Empfehlen. Auch der neue Naturpool und die Sauna waren eine Wohltat. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden es wieder besuchen.

Tolles Hotel mit Geschichte und einem tollen Flair. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Leider war unser Bett recht laut und hat bei jeder Drehung im Bett geknarzt. An einem Abend gab es eine laute Feier und da das Haus sehr alt ist hat man den Bass der Musik sehr laut im Zimmer gehört. Parkplätze für die Hotelgäste waren wegen der Feier leider auch nicht vorhanden - so mussten wir über Nacht vor einem Geschäft parken und am nächsten Morgen um 7Uhr umparken . Das war ärgerlich und hätte vorher kommuniziert werden können. Das Personal war allerdings sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Equipe muito atenciosa, mas em insuficiente em alguns horários de maior movimento. O hotel também tem um restaurante e, em uma noite, não havia vagas para estacionar porque todas estavam ocupadas pelos hóspedes e pelos clientes do restaurante - sugiro deixar reservadas exclusivamente para hóspedes uma quantidade de vagas, no mínimo, igual à quantidade de quartos ocupados no hotel. De resto, tudo muito bom.

It is amazing. you feel like you were in a xvi or xvii century house just a few steps from am Austrian Castel, not huge though in the middle of a small lake. It is our 3ed stay at this hotel. With a bus stop a few steps away, to get Salzburg downtown in about 25-30 minutes.

A traditional Austrian hotel 2 km outside of Salzburg in a lovely quiet village. Great bus links to the city. Very clean and quiet hotel. Breakfasts are fantastic and the restaurant at night is amazing. The food is very high standard and good prices. The garden is lovely to sit in at night. Don’t bother trying to get any pics of the palace next door as you can’t. Staff are really friendly and can speak English if like me you have NO German. Would love to go back.

Dejligt hotel. Meget fint værelse og høj service af hotellets medarbejdere. Hotel og anneks til hotellet ligger ud til meget trafikeret hovedvej. Det er meget ærgerligt. Der er meget støj fra trafikken og det kan være svært at krydse vejen på grund af trafik. Rigtig god restaurant. Man skal være opmærksom på, at restauranten opkræver et servicegebyr på 4,5 euro pr. Person for blot at sidde ved bordet. Pris på maden er forholdsvis høj.

Highly recommend this property for family traveling. Very friendly staff and very nice rooms. The free breakfast was also exceptional. Included choices of eggs cooked to order, french toast made to order. Had dinner at their restaurant (recommend getting a reservation as this place is very popular with the locals (which says a lot about the quality of the food)). Our dinner was excellent. One of the best steaks I have had in years.

Our stay at the beautiful 16th century Der Schlosswirt zu Anif was lovely. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Kahlil (apologies for incorrect spelling of your name) who was very helpful on our arrival and during our stay. Being such an old historic building, with solid old oak floors all over, it creeks and cracks when you walk across your room which in the day is charming but at night you will wake your sleeping partner. That aside, the place is true to its age and history and as it should be. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable along with the big fluffy pillows. We used the sauna which was lovely and then braved the outdoor pool which was chilly initially but once in and swimming the chill wore off. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious and exquisitely presented. With local wine suggestions from Kahlil that complemented our meal. Equally breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options for continental or a menu for cooked dishes as well. We would recommend for a nostalgic experience, be aware that there are many taxidermy animals around the building, which didn’t bother us.

Beautiful place- only disappointment was lack of aircon. There was a portable air conditioner in the room with a hose going out of the window, but the settings didn't work at all. There was high, low, and night time(quiet) but nothing worked and it was just very loud all the time, whatever you turned the settings to. So we couldn't use it at night time at all. Also no fridge in the room is worth knowing. Otherwise great, amazing breakfast. Easy and free parking, great public transport into the city. Staff were lovely.
