The clerk was so friendly which started a good experience here. The area is quiet and the hotel is very clean. The pool was very nice. My only small complaint is that breakfast didn’t have any protein besides hard boiled eggs, and not a ton of choices for breakfast.

Nicely appointed rooms, eco friendly, and very nice staff. My only disappointment was that the shuttle service wasn’t available due to driver not available.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We initially booked the motel because of the airport shuttle and there wasn't one available for 4:00 am. Also, There were just alot of little things...The plug-ins on the nightstand didn't work. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was some kind of paper crumpled up and stuck where the fire sprinkler should have been. No ice bucket in the room.

Nice hotel. All the little amenities that you would need on your stay were included in this hotel. Nice bed, pillows, large vanity in the bathroom, large bedroom, great TV. The breakfast was decent, lots of parking. We enjoyed the nice pool and spa. All good. Only 7 minutes away from the Mesa airport, which was important to us.

I thought as I walked in that it was now a day care with the childish rockers in the lobby and the kids style tables in the dining area. Was disappointed that shuttle was not scheduled to run until 6am when the flight leaves at 640. I was happy they allowed the shuttle to depart at 530. The bed was very confortable, although did not feel any of the changes warranted the much higher charge.

The only things I didn’t like was that there was no hot water in the evening when I washed my face and no hot water for my shower in the morning. The wall between my bathroom and the room next to me was so thin I could hear a man’s voice. It almost felt like he was in the same room as me. There was a clump of hair on the floor in the bathroom that wasn’t the same color as my hair.

Location was clean, quiet and felt safe. Located across the street from a Boba Tea place and several grab and go type places to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly all the way from the front desk to housekeeping. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable with super soft sheets. The only cons were the towels we had in our bathroom were stained - they were obviously clean - but had previous stains that couldn't be removed which took away from the experience a little. The biggest draw back was the breakfast, which is really just a few grab and go items. If you are looking for a gluten free option beyond a hard boiled egg or fruit, this is not the place. We would stay here again. I feel the cons are minor hiccups.

There for 5 days and never got the beds or room cleaned. Did clean the bathroom once after several complaints and left us with two towels only. There was no shampoo or shower gel when we arrived and was not replaced for 3 days. Tag on bathroom mirror even said they clean the room including the beds after 2 days, it never happened. So better take a shower every time you leave the room otherwise you are sleeping on sweaty sheets.

I was given a room that was not cleaned. I walked in the room smelled very awful, the bathroom was a mess with dirty towels on the floor, there were beer bottles, trash, and wine glasses on the counter and little table. My name was in the tv screen so i know the room was assigned to me. I went down stairs to speak to the clerk, she offered me free soda for the inconvenience and assigned me to a different room. Another thing, all side doors automatically lock after a certain hour, the only entrance into the building is the main entrance. So if you have a room on the back end, you have to walk all the way around to get into your room. Good luck with parking closer to the main entrance, everyone's parked up front because of the locked side entrances.

I chose this hotel for its good ratings and the advertised EV charging station, but upon arrival I was told they no longer have chargers. This was a big problem since I had an electric rental car and an early flight. The room looked updated at first glance but felt like a quick makeover of an old, run-down hotel. The AC had to run constantly just to feel slightly cool, and the room had a dank, damp smell that seemed tied to the overworked unit. The laminate floors were so dirty they turned a towel black when we wiped up a spill. The “continental breakfast” was misleading too — no hot items like eggs or bacon as advertised, just bagels, muffins, cereal, and yogurt. The front desk staff was polite and professional, but everything else fell short of Hilton’s standards. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

The elevator was out of service which the front desk associate never informed us until we had all of our luggage and had to carry it all upstairs. Once inside the room, the trash can under the television still had trash in it and the sink in the bathroom had a leak under the vanity.

I had to leave at 1am because I couldn’t sleep it was so hot. The swamp cooler was down to 60! I’ve never had to put anything that low. I tried to talk to front and of course “no refunds because booked through 3rd party” even though I’m leaving in the middle of the night because it was so hot! So furious. Will not be booking through Expedia again. Just going to call hotel from now on

Our stay was atrocious. The bed was slightly misaligned with the box spring. The shower got me drenched with water, i can go on and on. LOL I'm just kidding. Our stay was FANTASTIC!!!!! Don't listen to these other reviews left by karens and kevins. The Spark was great, Sophie was so helpful during our check in, my dad needed a toothbrush because he forgot his and she had one on deck (it was packaged and sealed don't worry karens). The beds were super comfortable; the room was clean and extremely spacious. Shower was on point. I WOULD ABSOLUTLEY stay here again. Well done Spark and staff. You earned a customer for life.

Asked to have the trash emptied and towels replaced. Only emptied the trash in the trash can. Did not take the trash by the trash can. Brought new towels, did not take the used towels on the floor. Pool was dirty on Sunday due to storm. Did not have anyone clean it.

There for 5 days and never got the beds or room cleaned. Did clean the bathroom once after several complaints and left us with two towels only. There was no shampoo or shower gel when we arrived and was not replaced for 3 days. Tag on bathroom mirror even said they clean the room including the beds after 2 days, it never happened. So better take a shower every time you leave the room otherwise you are sleeping on sweaty sheets.

The staff was nice and supportive in many ways, the situation with the TV is kind of rough due to not working correctly and the tenant has to pay for literally everything and still you have zero TV access. Also there was a hidden $100.00 deposit that was not mentioned anywhere and there was not receipt for the transaction and HAD to be cash, I am still waiting to see if it gets returned, Still nothing after a week so lets see " fingers crossed " If the clerks are charging this fee and not returning it Hmm. sees like a money maker to me but hey I am looking from the outside in. lol

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you are flying out of Mesa Gateway. The hotel is kept up to date, is clean, all of the employees are helpful and friendly and it has very nice amenities. Was just 3 miles up the street from the airport and it was a super easy drive to get to the airport to return my rental car. Would stay there again if I need a place in the Mesa area.

Nice hotel. All the little amenities that you would need on your stay were included in this hotel. Nice bed, pillows, large vanity in the bathroom, large bedroom, great TV. The breakfast was decent, lots of parking. We enjoyed the nice pool and spa. All good. Only 7 minutes away from the Mesa airport, which was important to us.

Location was clean, quiet and felt safe. Located across the street from a Boba Tea place and several grab and go type places to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly all the way from the front desk to housekeeping. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable with super soft sheets. The only cons were the towels we had in our bathroom were stained - they were obviously clean - but had previous stains that couldn't be removed which took away from the experience a little. The biggest draw back was the breakfast, which is really just a few grab and go items. If you are looking for a gluten free option beyond a hard boiled egg or fruit, this is not the place. We would stay here again. I feel the cons are minor hiccups.

If you need a stop over and a good place to sleep - i would recommend this place. It is quite convenient to Phoenix/Mesa Gateway airport. Only thing disappointing was there breakfast.

Location was ideal for my business trip. Close to the freeway, but far enough that you cannot get any noise from it. Places to eat are everywhere. Across the street, and even more locations just less than a mile away. Probably more than 50 types of food, so you have a lot of choices. Hotel was very clean. Never stayed at a Spark before, but i definitely would again if that’s an option where i’m at.

The clerk was so friendly which started a good experience here. The area is quiet and the hotel is very clean. The pool was very nice. My only small complaint is that breakfast didn’t have any protein besides hard boiled eggs, and not a ton of choices for breakfast.

I chose this hotel for its good ratings and the advertised EV charging station, but upon arrival I was told they no longer have chargers. This was a big problem since I had an electric rental car and an early flight. The room looked updated at first glance but felt like a quick makeover of an old, run-down hotel. First, the good things - this is right across the street from Revel Surf, which is why I stayed here in the first place, so location was excellent if you're headed to Revel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were delightful to interact with. Now the not-so-good stuff, and this has more to do with the owner/s of the hotel. When I first entered my room, it smelled like dirty socks or maybe some Doritos. Not a good smell, and it usually means that the carpet is long overdue for steam cleaning. There were no water bottles, in the event I got thirsty, and this is Arizona so everyone is thirsty. I can't remember a time when I stayed at a hotel where they don't provide at least 2 water bottles. There weren't even cups so I could drink water from the sink. I had to go downstairs to get a plastic cup. Now the noise....the air conditioner was so loud that I had to leave the fan on the entire time or it would wake me up when the AC kicked in. And the walls were so thin.....I could hear everywhere the people upstairs were walking, and for some reason they decided they needed exercise at 2 in the morning. It sounded like a herd of baby elephants up there. So one can assume the property was built very inexpensively and that the owners are cheapskates. If you have poor hearing, no sense of smell, and don't drink water, this could be a good place for you. However, I will likely stay there again just because it's so close to Revel Surf.
