Great customer service. Bed very comfortable. Plumbing and appliances worked great. After a melt the grounds needed cleaning. Room had wall repairs that had not been painted, but it was well worth the motel fee. Pet friendly is very important but it is apparent some people don't clean up after their dogs.

I thought it was priced rather high for the type of hotel it is. In a dodgy area of Maddison. The reception has a large pistol strapped to his hip. A bit odd to see as a Canadian. Plenty of disadvantaged multi family groups living in the hotel. Three times through the night, people came and loudly knocked on our door. Thankfully, the office has perhaps 50 cameras watching the area so reception could tell it was kids playing when I called down to complain. On the 3rd time, he came up and took the kids back to their parent’s. Bed was comfy and for a quick one night stop…it isn’t too bad.

Ac didn’t work. Room temperature was set to an extreme temperature which made it impossible warm to sleep. Bathroom light/fan was make noise when you put on the light. If you have trailer just forget coming here because I most impossible to park. I regret paying for this online before seeing the location because I would have go somewhere else.

The room was filthy. AC, doors, lamps, beds were all damaged. Tub bottom was not clean and dirty (black). White stains on the bed skirt, bed cover had burns in it. Smell in the room was very very strong of some cigarette smoke, but mostly marijuana. Even our dog sat by the door while we were there. We stayed about 15 minutes in the room as that was all we could tolerate. We booked someplace else and cut out losses. My allergies were activated by the smoke. I have never seen such a poor-quality room. This is not something I would have expected Expedia to list on their site, let alone Red Roof Inn. We have stayed at RR Inns before and never encountered anything like this. It looked like someone stated there long-term, and all they did was make the beds. We have photos to show this...

Check in was smooth. Walked into our room and was NOT. Impressed. Bed sheets looked dirty. Hair and mascara still on a pillow case. Once I took my shoes off and walked between the beds my feet stuck to the what is supposed to be carpet. The room needs a deep cleaning. Very old worn out mattress etc.

The floor in our room was dirty and sticky, it turned our socks black. The plug in to the hair dryer was cracked open and not safe to plug in. The phone had no cords to plug it in. Headboard was cracked and missing wood pieces. Smoke detector was ripped off the wall and wires sticking out. There was a receipt on the night stand for the last guy that stayed there. I took several photos and tried to talk to the employee about it when checking out. He told me i was okay to go. I don't think he understood me. The staff that checked us in was nice and friendly. We needed a place to stay last minute after spending the day in Madison with my daughter and baby granddaughter, as we were too tired for the 2 hour drive home. Very disappointing stay.

Perhaps the worst part of my stay here was that my room absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. FOR SURE the strongest cigarette smell I have ever had in a hotel room. Our room was not thoroughly cleaned (there was a ketchup packet in the fridge, marks and stains on the walls) and the furniture and fixtures were in dire need of an upgrade (lamps above bed missing shade/plastic pieces, old/dirty looking radiator, EXTREMELY scratched up chair that looked like it was a cat's scratching post for months, if not longer). This is a very cheap motel, but with the experience I had and the quality of the room, it should have been MUCH cheaper still. The man at the front desk was nice, but I would rather sleep in my car than return to this place.

For $130, I figured it would be at clean. Was very dingy, roomed smelled lik smoke. Walls were dirty, sheets had some kind of marks on it. the chair in room looked like it was mauled by a dog. Room was suppose to be SMOKE FREE but as soon as we opened the door - the smell of smoke was overwhelming. I couldn’t do any deep breathing because it stunk so much. The bedsheet was dirty and felt “gritty”. We checked in at 2am and had to get up at 6am so we just made do with the room. Check in process was quick and staff was polite but I don’t believe that we will be staying at this place if we ever come through again.

Filthy windows and broken screen, dirty and broken window curtain, stains on walls, molding coming off of the walls, needs paint, heating/cooling system had broken pieces - thermostat was broken and plastic vents were broken off so you could not control flow of air. They provide a television channel guide that doesn't match what's available and only about half of the stations. It seemed clean, but because of the lack of maintenance is just seemed shabby. Towels were threadbare and rough. I would not stay there again.

This particular Red Roof should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. The entire facility was in terrible disrepair nearly every door had its paint peeling off, several door handles were obviously broken. inside the room the AC worked but was as loud as a lawn mower, the grill was broken off exposing the AC coils directly and the resulting tray-like area was extremely dirty and stained from who knows what. there was no fire alarm in room but you could see where it had been broken off the wall. The king size bed was broken so that one side tilted down and threatened to roll whoever slept on that side off onto the floor, the mattress was completely worn out and instantly gave all the way to box spring anytime any weight was put on it. everything inside the room was stained or dirty except the shower stall (somehow). I also found out the place has a reputation among locals for drugs and prostitution. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

The nightly rate was what got me to book. You get what you pay for, so I wasn’t expecting much. The staff was friendly. The rooms were very noisy because you could hear every time the other lodgers were outside whether walking but or hanging outside. The king size bed was placed right by the door which made it worse. Towels were very small and you only got two sets as there is no housekeeping during your stay. If you want a refresh, you have to hunt down the housekeeper while they are there cleaning the rooms that are vacated that day. Front desk does not help getting you fresh towels. I just bought a few towels at Walmart. It was easier

The room we had was in serious need of renovation. Noisy heating system, light in bathroom wouldn't work, blood or poop on the shower curtain, noisy exhaust fan, all the tub hardware is tired. (Room 124)

The rooms were very noisy because you could hear every time the other lodgers were outside whether walking but or hanging outside. The king size bed was placed right by the door which made it worse. Towels were very small and you only got two sets as there is no housekeeping during your stay. If you want a refresh, you have to hunt down the housekeeper while they are there cleaning the rooms that are vacated that day. Front desk does not help getting you fresh towels. I just bought a few towels at Walmart. It was easier

Thisbl was terrible we sgowed up at 11:36pm and we were told we did not have a reservation, even though we showed the front desk our confirsmtuon #. We were told there was no rooms and we were turned away, we also prepaid for this room back on Oct 3th, in full for a night that we never were allowed to stay. The manager stated that there was noting they could. We beleive our room was given away since we showed up later in the evening. This is unacceptblable.

I thought it was priced rather high for the type of hotel it is. In a dodgy area of Maddison. The reception has a large pistol strapped to his hip. A bit odd to see as a Canadian. Plenty of disadvantaged multi family groups living in the hotel. Three times through the night, people came and loudly knocked on our door. Thankfully, the office has perhaps 50 cameras watching the area so reception could tell it was kids playing when I called down to complain. On the 3rd time, he came up and took the kids back to their parent’s. Bed was comfy and for a quick one night stop…it isn’t too bad.

The staff are super nice. The rooms are decent. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have continental breakfast but I understand why they don't an I don't blame them. But other than that I would come back and stay a night or two.

You get what you pay for I guess. This is not a high class place, and the price reflects that. It's not somewhere I would ever choose to stay, had we had more options and I planned better. It's a bed, it's a place to sleep, but doesn't feel like the safest place to be at night.

Check in was smooth. Walked into our room and was NOT. Impressed. Bed sheets looked dirty. Hair and mascara still on a pillow case. Once I took my shoes off and walked between the beds my feet stuck to the what is supposed to be carpet. The room needs a deep cleaning. Very old worn out mattress etc.
