From start to finish, our stay at Ioxora Hotel was exceptional. Parking was excellent and the well kept surroundings created a great first impression. The reception area had a warm, welcoming ambience, and we were greeted with a genuine smile by the friendly bearded gentleman on check in, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. Our room was outstanding, spotless, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. The Smeg appliances were a nice touch and impeccably clean. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the temperature controlled rooms made for a perfect night’s sleep. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for an extra night. Ioxora Hotel will definitely be our choice again in the future.

Staff were hit and miss - some were friendly and helpful, whilst others were a bit standoffish. Hotel food from the bar was very average, not good for price. The breakfast buffet had variety and that was enjoyable. When I rang the hotel, they said the spa was £20 for 2 hours usage, but the pool and gym were free. This turned out to be untrue, the spa was £25pp and there was no general pool. The room was good, has enough space and was well lit, had good amenities and was comfortable. However, the sheets weren’t refreshed/replaced during our stay.

The hotel itself is good, although a bit overrated. Staff very polite and very kind always willing to help. Unfortunately, our stay was spoiled straight upon arrival. We have been told that we can book spa in on arrival to the hotel. So we deciaded to go with this place as a birthday treat for my wife. Unfortunately when we arrived we were advised no free spaces and we couldnt get accomodated. This was not ideal as there isnt much to do around....and obvioulsy we wouldnt of come here knowing spa was no go.... big downfall. We stayed 1 night. Hotel is nice . We had a breakfast following morning [ its on a pricey end] it has a hot food and a continental option. Continental option was a bit crap, sweet teats like croissant and chocolate buns were hard, i bet you could knock someone out with it :) all in all, stay was as it was .... will we come back? Probably not. The big compliment to lady on reception with long hair, (3rd and 4th of Jan)who was the most helpful, supportive and friendly woman there :)

Booked one night for spa break spa fully booked with people on day packages and local people we walked past and people crammed in like sardines did not look enjoyable at all !! the price of spa should be included in room rate so the paying staying guests who have travelled get to use spa and it’s not crammed and overbooked complete waste of time a lot young people lots of drugs being smoked in rooms the snell was disgusting fire alarms went off ruining our stay even more ! Called reception to complain he said they had several complaints on the drugs the wave machine broken so nothing much to see or do no pubs or restaurants on walking distance for 20 minutes drive away, evening meal was lovely breakfast was awful cheap bacon and sausage will not returm

They advertise their Spa &Gym like crazy BUT you have to pay £ 25 per day for access. This is not mentioned on Expedia booking section. You will receive an email afterwards and you are unable to cancel the booking. The management is fully aware that they deceive Expedia customers and after I complained to them, they pointed out to me that on their own website are addional T&C's.

Travelled to the property for two nights stay with my wife and 10 week old baby. Location is beautiful, great walking routes and it’s right next to a big adventure sports centre. Unfortunately condition/cleanliness of some of the rooms is poor - first room had mould on ceiling in shower and significant mildew around the tiles. Staff were great and showed us to new room, however the bedding was unclean, and when the bedding was removed for replacement, we could see that the mattress cover was covered in hair. Night Manager and staff got involved and personally checked the next room for us which was great, the staff were a huge help - special thanks to Millie, Brad and Simon we would stay here again because of them.

15 mins from lots of things to do so really central. Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Food a bit mediocre but prices in line with other restaurants where food was also pretty mediocre! Asked for room to be cleaned daily but it was never hoovered. Bedside tables hadn’t been moved to clean under for a long time and were pretty grim underneath. Decent comfy bed.

The hotel was ideally placed for our long weekend break in north Wales. The hotel staff were outstanding throughout and made my wife and I very welcome. The evening meals were a particular highlight. One glitch for the breakfasts, both coffee machines broke down. Staff reacted well with filter coffee made available quite quickly. Our room was superb, impeccably clean, spacious and with excellent views. We saved the spa for next time and will be back!

Surprised to drive up to this very modern hotel in the rural location. Checkin was easy and we were greeted with a friendly welcome. Room was spacious, bed a little hard for my liking. Paid extra for the suite thinking it would be more comfortable but unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable. We like visiting North Wales to go out and explore the natural beauty of the area and relax in the evening but unfortunately there wasn’t much comfort in the room, the fridge wasn’t even cold and the tv didn’t even have free view which isn’t normal a problem as we always take our Apple TV with us but unfortunately there was no power point to plug it into. Was very disappointed about this hotel as the pictures look fantastic but the and is such a shame as the hotel has a lot of potential. As North Wales is a favourite place for us especially that area this could have been a regular hotel for us to visit. I did bring this to the attention of the hotel staff which I will say did try their best to resolve this by showing us another room but it was just the same .

The rooms were really airy and the temperature controls were fantastic. It's a bright and spacious hotel, but is super comfortable and feels very welcoming. Staff were all fantastic. Very professional but extremely friendly. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Hotel was excellent modern hotel nicely designed - if I was being picky I do prefer an ensuite rather than the current trend of frosted glass and sink in room. That is just me though! The only thing that let it down was service in the bar which was terrible, young lad was out of his depth - our drinks at dinner finally arrived after the starters and I heard him drop at least 6 glasses on the floor through the evening. The waiter forgot to order one of our parties main courses- he handled it well and so all was good and sorted. Breakfast continental was restricted choice but fine - english buffet excellent. I would definitely stay again - would book Spa in advance though as was frustrating that as a resident we could not use facilities as they were full. Almost forgot - excellent cheese board

Fabulous property nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we had an accessible room for our disabled son which was amazing and an interconnected door to our room next door. Would definitely stay again. Food was very nice too.

Staff were hit and miss - some were friendly and helpful, whilst others were a bit standoffish. Hotel food from the bar was very average, not good for price. The breakfast buffet had variety and that was enjoyable. When I rang the hotel, they said the spa was £20 for 2 hours usage, but the pool and gym were free. This turned out to be untrue, the spa was £25pp and there was no general pool. The room was good, has enough space and was well lit, had good amenities and was comfortable. However, the sheets weren’t refreshed/replaced during our stay.

Staff were all great and there to help. unfortunately it felt short staffed as there were long waiting times for food and drinks, but staff worked their socks off to satisfy customers. Management should address this especially at busier times of the year.

Travelled to the property for two nights stay with my wife and 10 week old baby. Location is beautiful, great walking routes and it’s right next to a big adventure sports centre. Unfortunately condition/cleanliness of some of the rooms is poor - first room had mould on ceiling in shower and significant mildew around the tiles. Staff were great and showed us to new room, however the bedding was unclean, and when the bedding was removed for replacement, we could see that the mattress cover was covered in hair. Night Manager and staff got involved and personally checked the next room for us which was great, the staff were a huge help - special thanks to Millie, Brad and Simon we would stay here again because of them.

Fabulous hotel, perfect from check in to check out. Big thank you to the girls in the spa, the receptionist with the long curly hair and the 2 girls who did our massages who didn’t make us feel uncomfortable when we got a case of the severe giggles and couldn’t hold it together! This was a much needed break for me and my daughter after a lot of recent sadness and that memory will stay with us forever, so thank you ! It made our weekend. Main reception, bar and restaurant staff fabulous, room stunning, food and drinks excellent, was sad to check out and we will definitely return ❤️

The hotel itself is good, although a bit overrated. Staff very polite and very kind always willing to help. Unfortunately, our stay was spoiled straight upon arrival. We have been told that we can book spa in on arrival to the hotel. So we deciaded to go with this place as a birthday treat for my wife. Unfortunately when we arrived we were advised no free spaces and we couldnt get accomodated. This was not ideal as there isnt much to do around....and obvioulsy we wouldnt of come here knowing spa was no go.... big downfall. We stayed 1 night. Hotel is nice . We had a breakfast following morning [ its on a pricey end] it has a hot food and a continental option. Continental option was a bit crap, sweet teats like croissant and chocolate buns were hard, i bet you could knock someone out with it :) all in all, stay was as it was .... will we come back? We had a fantastic time at the hotel with our young daughter. The restaurant food was lovely, a little pricey, but can't complain about how nice the food was or portion sizes. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was nice, personally I would have liked more fruit as an option but that's just me. Perfect location, with kids adventure activities across from the hotel ( skate park, ninja adventure activities, climbing walls etc) also nice for the adults that it has a spa for some downtime.

The rooms were really airy and the temperature controls were fantastic. It's a bright and spacious hotel, but is super comfortable and feels very welcoming. Staff were all fantastic. Very professional but extremely friendly. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Hotel was excellent modern hotel nicely designed - if I was being picky I do prefer an ensuite rather than the current trend of frosted glass and sink in room. That is just me though! The only thing that let it down was service in the bar which was terrible, young lad was out of his depth - our drinks at dinner finally arrived after the starters and I heard him drop at least 6 glasses on the floor through the evening. The waiter forgot to order one of our parties main courses- he handled it well and so all was good and sorted. Breakfast continental was restricted choice but fine - english buffet excellent. I would definitely stay again - would book Spa in advance though as was frustrating that as a resident we could not use facilities as they were full. Almost forgot - excellent cheese board

Surprised to drive up to this very modern hotel in the rural location. Checkin was easy and we were greeted with a friendly welcome. Room was spacious, bed a little hard for my liking. Bathroom was clean and modern with separate room for the toilet and shower. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was plenty to choose from. Our stay was a great experience. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Me and my partner stayed here after hiking Snowdon. The rooms are just perfect! So clean and very nice. Nice bar/restaurant area although it is quite expensive and the staff in the restaurant were a little slow. Good was great though. Everyone was friendly. We also used the spa which was so worth it. Definitely will be back, so happy with our stay.

We had a blocked drain in our shower so our room flooded. We let the staff know and they said they’d sort it whilst we were dining. They didn’t. They said they’d remove all the wet towels from the room. They didn’t. The restaurant service was terrible. Waited 25mins for our drink, after asking 3 times. Food cold, terrible, poor quality. Sent some things back. Wanted to send it all back but had to eat something.

Food and beverage was a bit wanting. The bar ran out of the local single malt whisky at 19:00. Breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30 but by 10:00 most of the fresh fruit had run out with no replenishment in sight. Otherwise not much different from when Hilton managed it.

Another great escape. This hotel is a jewel in the crown of North Wales tourism. Modern, well-equipped and with excellent staff. This was our sixth stay at the hotel and we cannot wait for our seventh!
