The place is extremely clean and quiet. The service is top shelf. The staff are all amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. I did hate being downstairs with large luggage. It was beyond difficult to navigate the narrow and steep stairs to get down to our room but once inside it was nice. The place is great overall and the staff are beyond super nice. You can tell they take pride in ensuring a great experience. My one and only negative is if you need to navigate the stairs up or down… ask for a ground floor room and you will be more than fine. I love how central the place is and how peaceful and safe the area is. Within a 5-10 min walk from Victoria station and steps from so many amazing restaurants. If you are travelling light or get a main floor room you can’t go wrong. We loved the place and the staff.

There is no AC or fans, the windows don't open up but a couple of inches. Our room was up eight flights of stairs, there is no elevator. They actually have AC units in the rooms but are in need of repair. This place seriously needs upgraded. Zero amenities, and not willing to fix anything. Good location, couldn't wait for morning to come to leave this hot sweaty place.

Lovely people, lovely area... Only slight negative was that the dining area was under construction... But the staff were great and accommodating!

Hotel has no elevators. Need to climb stairs in steep, narrow, and old stairs.

The property it was in a very nice location only a Block from Victoria Train station. Beautiful neighborhood. The hotel is small but comfortable for a couple nights. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was nice. Our room was in the 3rd floor, no elevators and very narrow stairs. We felt really bad for the bellboy who went up the stairs 5 times to bring out luggage because the lift wasn't working. The AC it wasn't working so they tell us to open the windows. The shower was extremely small, no recommended for a big or tall person. Overall, we had a great time in London.

Great staff.... Has a lot of stairs because of townhouses. Very convenient to buses and restaurants.

We loved the area, the hotel was clean and close to all major attractions. I feel people should be made aware there is not a lift and therefor many rooms unsuitable for older people, we were first of all offered a room in the basement the stairs down were potentially dangerous and the room like an oven with no aircon. The room we were then given was in the attic, with aircon however 51 stairs to be climbed, I’m 77 hubby 80 less than ideal.

This property is in the Belgravia district of London. It’s a very pleasant location. The building itself is old and the room was very small for two people. Unfortunately, some areas of the hotel like the garden and breakfast room were under renovation. We were not informed by Expedia or Astors Belgravia Hotel of this inconvenience. There was a big truck parked outside the door for our entire stay. In addition, we payed the hotel $920 pounds, we checked on Expedia, for during the same dates the listed price was $50 less a night. This totals $200 Canadian. We are demanding this difference of $200 from Expedia as soon as possible. Thanks, Hilda Hacikyaner

First time at this hotel, nice friendly staff, local hotel (not a chain), room was spacious and clean, but could have benefitted from a table. Steep stairs, not good if you are less mobile. Hallways etc could do with a makeover and looked dated, but room was ok. Breakfast was included but quite basic

This older quaint hotel situated in the high end neighborhood of Belgravia. Nicer options for restaurants. The staff is very kind and helpful. No lift, so wow the luggage guy gets a workout.

Hotel in a lovely area. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace and close to Victoria Station. Very friendly staff. Good triple room with free water, biscuits and tea/coffee. Lovely breakfast. Good selection and nice seating area. Able to leave bags safely to collect at end of day.

I wouldn't go there it was very bad. They have no elevators in hotel or air-conditioned. Its very run down. The room they gave us wasn't the room i ordered online because they said we didn't check in. Our flight was delayed. The room they gave us smelled like mildew. I wouldn't recommend hotel it was terrible! Staff was friendly. Who ever owns hotel should be put in hall of shame!

Highly recommend. Lovely location we felt safe. Complimentary continental breakfast was great and the staff were excellent! Bathroom and room were clean with ample tea, coffee and bottles water.

The location was great and most of the staff was kind and as helpful as they could be. However, this was the worst stay I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. I can’t speak for all rooms, but any room on their basement floor should be condemned as it is not live-able. The heat level and oxygen level between their front office section and their basement is like night and day, even worse in the room itself. It was a hot day and when we got to the room they told us the Air Conditioning didn’t work. The rooms temperature was at least 28 degrees Celsius and barely breathable. Significantly hotter than outside. They gave us a fan that barely did anything. To make matters worse, we see a piss stain right under where the pillow is on one side of the bed. The receptionist was responsive to the piss stain and sent someone to our room to change the sheets but nothing could be done about the air conditioning. When the gentleman came to our room with fresh sheets, initially it seemed like he wanted us to change the bed as he handed me the sheets, until I asked if he could please do it, which he did. We had a very early flight so it wasn’t going to be a long stay, just one night. I could not sleep in that room and sat in their very well air conditioned front office / lobby area for a good portion of the night. For the price we paid this is unacceptable. If you book this hotel and you are given the basement floor, cancel immediately and avoid at all costs.

Most uncomfortable futon style beds. Tv in main bedroom didnt work the entire time. Air conditioner in that same room was so loud, like a lawn mower (grinding, whirring etc non stop), so we had to keep it off and be too hot. The halls all smelled like feces every day we stayed. The front desk upon check-in this one lady was super rude, unpleasant. Combative even when I showed the description of our room. Will not stay again here. The location of the hotel is excellent though. The other rooms might be better but ours in the basement was not.

Plus on a relatively quiet and charming street surrounded by wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes. Safe. Room v clean and having air con was a major bonus. Beds comfy enough, including the additional bed (3 room booked). Complimentary hot drinks and water in the room also a bonus and continental breakfast was great and range varied enough (eggs, croissants, cereal, fruit, cheese, yoghurts, etc).

Bad points: My room was on the ground floor, right next to the front door, so there was a lot of disturbance with the door slamming. Noise from creaking floorboards. Tired decor and shabby furniture.

Having been charged £30 to be able to get into our room an hour early, we arrived in a dark basement room, riddled with ants. Luckily we were only in the room for one night, attending a concert in Hyde Park. On the positive side, the location is fantastic and the air conditioning in the bedroom worked well. The complimentary breakfast was ultra basic, but edible.

Great location and nice breakfast but we have never seen so narrow beds beeing called a doublebed. The tap water had two temperatures., either burning hot or hot. Aircondition did not work properly. Had it on 18 degress and never got lower than 23. Window would not stay open so used the cleenex box to keep it open. Could only open 20cm. Very varm at night. Beware that the smallest rooms are in the basement with only a light shaft from the breakfast room on ground floor and the door to the shaft was locked. Not so sure about the fire safety. We had booked a Club room but ended up in the basement. The mistake was sorted out so we got our club room on second floor. The staff was nice and friendly.

Good location for seeing things in Central London, but means location can be noisy. Room quite small for 3 people. I dont think the A/C unit was actually working. Bed comfy, pillows too flat.

Would be ok for 1 day. We were there for 4. Pros: Room was clean. 10 minute walk to Victoria Station. Cons: Room was small, maybe 8’x10’. Small closet, maybe 10”-12” wide. Small desk and small bedside table. The bed was shoved up against a non-functioning fireplace. In my 70’s and had to crawl in & out of bed by fireplace or wake husband. Bathroom is pretty, but no place to set anything down. Has a pedestal sink, toilet and nice shower. No hooks for towels, towels were left on the bed everyday.

A great location with access to public transport (bus and train) and walking distance to several key attractions. Staff were pleasant and offered us tea when we arrived before both rooms were ready. Only drawback was that the mattress in one room was somewhat lumpy and uncomfortable.

Hotel is centrally located and easy to get to and from Victoria Station. The staff is really lovely and check in and out was fast. The breakfast was a nice surprise and the baked goods were fabulous. The rooms are quite dated and AC barely worked.

Stayed overnight for work so we wanted location and convenience rather than anywhere flash. It’s ‘fine’ as a hotel but needs some work, especially for the £330+ price point (for 1 night!!!). We stayed in the Quadruple room and it was spacious with a good shower but the beds weren’t comfy at all, especially the sofa bed, and the room was quite tatty. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was acceptable but basic, but the condition of the room let it down. Extremely overpriced for the quality - maybe it was just our room being down in the basement. Would look elsewhere for next time, simply because of the cost vs value.

The location is excellent, just a few blocks walk from Victoria Station, with many good coffee shops, restaurants, and other shops right nearby. We stayed in a Standard Double room, which unfortunately meant we were downstairs from reception, with not much light through the window. The room was small but clean and well maintained. Good showers. Overall, would recommend and stay again, but hopefully in one of the above-ground rooms.

The room was so tiny we had nowhere to put our luggage our costs nothing. It was ridiculously small and nothing like the pictures we saw when we were booking. I only recommend if you are coming alone.

The staff at the Astors definitely go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. This is an excellent location to hit all the central London highlights! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Room was on 4th floor with no elevator. Not the end of the world until we had no air conditioning. Asked for another room and was told none were available. Showed where they were advertising availability for the night. Two hours later (11:00 Pm) they knocked on the door and offered to move us. Great location. Terrible service.

Astors Belgravia is full of classic London charm and staffed by the most remarkable and responsive team. The location is superb: the market and Victoria Coach Station are literally around the corner whilst Buckingham Palace is a 20 minute walk.

Great location just a short walk from Victoria station. Very friendly staff. They allowed us to leave our bags there after we had checked out as we weren't leaving town till late that night.

Amazing location and incredible hotel. I am from the states and refuse to stay anywhere else when in London. Area is IDEAL for great cafes, pubs, shopping etc.

It says continental breakfast so we were happily surprised with the breakfast. The location is great and in a very nice and safe area of London very close to public transportation. Very friendly staff. The extra bed was not as good as the bigsixe bed in the room but okay.

I was allocated a ground floor room which was excellent as I have limited mobility. The bathroom was excellent with an easy access shower. The bed was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was varied with plenty of choice and healthy options. I will be staying there again when in London.

We were at Chelsea for the Flower and Garden Show. The Belgravia provided a close, clean and economical place to stay for our visit, with a well-stocked array of choices for our continental breakfast.

We chose this hotel as it was within a 10 minute walk from Wicked at the apollo which was right outside of Victoria Staion. The receptionist was hrlpful and friendly. The room was fine and clean. if you just need it for a base its perfect. The rooms come with a complimentary continental breakfast. (Don't expect a full English) all of the breaksast foods were fresh and a good selection. Theres complimentary bottled waters, biscuits and teas and coffees. Also new slippers. There is a hair dryer, but no iron. But im sure they would provide one if needed. There was a porter to take your bags to your room. Which by the way there are no lifts. So if you cant do stairs, there are rooms on the ground floor which you would need to reserve. Overall. A very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel it is not luxurious but we were happy with our stay.

Breakfast was great and staff friendly and helpful. Room was smaller than I thought it would be. The bathroom was very tight. If traveling to London we would stay again but book a bigger room. Also the breakfast room did not have space if it was busy.
