Lovely hotel, great parking, breakfast nice, room in good condition. My only micro issue, no fault of the hotel but quite a generic, characterless hotel. And please play a little ambient music/ news etc at breakfast as it was deathly silent other than hearing people eat. Overall great stay, lovely staff and good value.

The staff were great, the lady who I assume was the manager (I think her name was Jane) was very friendly, as were the breakfast staff. Breakfast was great and room prices very reasonable. The hotel itself is well maintained, although not 100% as clean as I’d like (and had a slightly dank/smokey smell). Also lacking in facilities. During our stay it became apparent that it’s a party/venue hotel as the crowd was very loud and loudly banging doors and talking in corridors late at night. This wasn’t ideal for us, but obviously a great and fun hotel for the right crowd!

Nice, modern hotel, friendly helpful staff. My twin room was very comfortable, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Fkat acreen tv with a few different channels. Lovely clean modern bathroom with nice toiletries. Great shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with good-sized rooms that were comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A great base for my trip — I’d definitely stay again.

We arrived late and Night Porter was very accommodating Food was first class Rooms were spacious- a couple of niggles with the water temperature and the rooms weren’t soundproofed so we could hear people walking up and down in the corridor Apart from that - I’d recommend and would stay again

I didnt find the bed comfy it was to hard and could feel the springs. The bath was also very weak I felt like I was about to break through the base while having a shower. The room also had some water damage on the roof. My main grip is the bed not being that comfy

Stay was okay. Staff weren’t as helpful as we would’ve liked but the room was lovely, you’d made just expect something a bit nicer for £165.

Great looking place. Food was excellent. Service was good but a little lacking in detail eg. At breakfast when servers walked past the table on multiple occasions but left the table crowded with cereal bowls which were finished with when eggs arrived, was a small table so struggled with space. Not what was expected in such an up market hotel. There were a few occasions when service was below the standard of other less expensive hotels. The fire alarm at 5am finished it off but this was caused by a guest. We enjoyed ourselves regardless.

Staff were rude at check in and as there as a wedding the bar was closed to guests. While there is a restaurant with a few seats for drinks it is not sufficient for a hotel that size and we ended up sitting on our room

Great little hotel with some exceptional staff working there, stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every night of it, the food was fantastic and very well priced, the full breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day off, some parts of the hotel could do with a little touch up and it needs more lighting on approach from the front but otherwise one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for that great experience.

At breakfast when servers walked past the table on multiple occasions but left the table crowded with cereal bowls which were finished with when eggs arrived, was a small table so struggled with space. Not what was expected in such an up market hotel. There were a few occasions when service was below the standard of other less expensive hotels. The fire alarm at 5am finished it off but this was caused by a guest. We enjoyed ourselves regardless.

good nights sleep , however breakfast didnt start till 8am and for the business user this isnt usually good enough and i have rejected hotels based on this in the past

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable, my only suggestion is, please do t charge for a barista made coffee during breakfast.

Great little hotel with some exceptional staff working there, stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every night of it, the food was fantastic and very well priced, the full breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day off, some parts of the hotel could do with a little touch up and it needs more lighting on approach from the front but otherwise one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for that great experience.

This is a lovely hotel. Decor is beautiful, staff are friendly and efficient and the family room we occupied was just great. Dinner was really good, plenty to choose from and a lovely breakfast rounded off our stay

Checking in took 15 minutes as the receptionist was on the phone. Room was faultless. Meal ordering took 18 mins despite advising them that I would be ready to order within the minute as I was a solo guest on business. Its was calories not enjoyment or social. Evening and night was very loud and disturbed. I think wedding guests should always be placed completely separately to hotel guests as I think the wedding party continued in the room next to mine at 3am.

Very clean room lovely and tidy nice toiletries and quiet as requested - lovely bathroom. Nice entrance and good breakfast - disappointed no haggis!

What a lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, great food with lovely views from certain areas. Great parking area and lovely outdoor space. I’d say it is more than a 3 star hotel and will definitely use this hotel and hotel group again.
