Good location. Limited breakfast. Less amenities than surrounding hotels (like afternoon tea or treat, bed time chocolates, etc), but we’re always available 24/7. Did a great job arranging taxis. Great pool and views. Bar and food service very nice. We sat by the pool and got several delicious smoothies at good prices. Rooms were wonderful and spacious and cooled down nicely. Would stay again.

The perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation in Santorini. The area is very quiet and the view is amazing. Skip the sunset in Oia and watch it from the pool deck/pool bar. Rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is also really good, the food is amazing. There’s also a cute kitty that hangs around the hotel, she’s very sweet.

Approximately equidistant from Fira and Oia with fantastic views of the Caldera/sea. The personal hot tub was a nice touch, as well as the patio and bistro table where we enjoyed the view with a few glasses of complimentary wine. The pool area had a shaded area near the bar where we also enjoyed Greek pizza, wine, and the sea view. Outstanding hotel and staff.

The view is incredible on both sides for sunset and sunrise. The staff were great particularly Maria, Panos, the 2 breakfast staff and the 3 afternoon/evening bar staff - they were very engaging and helpful, and Maria had excellent recommendations. The welcome wine and fruit were a really nice touch. There could be more sunbeds with shade ie umbrellas with better coverage.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The staff was attentive, remembers our names, and provided service 24/7. Breakfast was included and was delicious. The pool was great and the view was even better. The only thing about this hotel is the location is not close to much of the sights however, the hotel staff was very accommodating organizing transportation for my party. 10/10 would stay here again.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful sunsets from the gorgeous pool area. Sunrise from the courtyard in front of reception. George and Dino were at the bar and were servers from the restaurant. The Sea Bass was delicious while watching the sunset. The front desk staff were outstanding in helping resolve an interruption in my trip caused by my cruise ship being unable to dock. They helped so much in modifying my stay. I am very grateful. I highly recommend this beautiful property. Thank you!

The staff tried their best, most of them were nice but for the price I paid, I didn’t expect to see ants in my bed and have a problem finding space to park my car every time I had to move. Didn’t use the swimming pool because of restricted hours. The gym was so small, not tempting at all. Sauna should be turned on every time you decide to use it. Spa services are on demand only because the service is provided by a third party. So I wonder how they got their 5 stars. Breakfast is the same every single day. They even have it delivered every morning by a food supplier. The photos on Expedia are very misleading: you think you have access to the beach with the photos of umbrellas on the sand, but these are pictures of beaches that are a 30 minute drive away from the hotel. Anyways, as I said, the staff tried their best to make our stay comfortable and pleasant, however the whole experience wasn’t worth the price paid. Many other hotels in the region offer better for the same price.

We had a 2 night stay. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff and facilities were very good. The view is stunning. The location was fine for us as we just wanted to relax at the end of a two week island hoping holiday. But if you want to be close to a town hub this isn’t it. Breakfast was very good. We had a hot tub that was great for relaxing in after dark. The only minor fault I would say could be improved on was the shower. Very tired and needed a refurbishment. Not what you would expect considering the overall standard of the property I would stay again for a short break

We had a wonderful experience, views were incredible, service was wonderful! Housekeeping each day! The continental breakfast was great- lots of variety, from pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal, good coffee and free flowing Mimosa’s!!

Bathrooms definitely require update and super cleaning because of high water stains on tiles. Would return but these were very distasteful as nothing appeared clean - even if it was!

Hôtel très agréable, séjour de 3 jours, personnel souriant et très à l’écoute. Chambre spacieuse. Seule remarque moins positive est le besoin de rénover la salle de bains (joints noirs au niveau de la douche). La réceptionniste nous a dit que les réfections auraient lieu cet hiver. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour.

"We had a wonderful stay at Xenones Filotera and would definitely recommend it. We stayed in a Honeymoon Room, which had plenty of private outdoor space for two sun loungers and a table with chairs, along with that incredible view. The rooms themselves are well-equipped and comfortable. While the fixtures and fittings are showing their age, this didn't affect our stay. The breakfast was good: a buffet style with plenty of options, available until 11:00 AM. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location to explore all the island has to offer, however we highly recommend hiring a car, especially if your staying more than 3 nights. Santorini is stunning but often oversaturated with tourism. If you want to stay away from the crowds and relax, this is the perfect place for you."

Wonderful hotel with great view over the caldera. The staff is exceptionally friendly and nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable, we enjoyed several afternoons by the pool on the sunbeds and loved it. Some reviews here say it's a bit remote and that's true. But in Santorini you always need a vehicle to get around, Imerovigli is about 20 min walk away with some shops and restaurants. The breakfast could have had some more variety, Wifi works very badly in the rooms downstairs but that's only little things really. We had one of the rooms downstairs with a jacuzzy outside and great views, unfortunately we could not really enjoy it much during the day as there was a family in the room next to us with little children. Of course, children are children but the hotel should maybe think about making the downstairs area with jacuzzys adults only as it would have been nice to enjoy a coffee down there without children screaming in the jacuzzy next to us. Of course the children are not to be blamed, they were lovely.

The hotel has great rooms and facilities. The views to both sides of the island are incredible. The staff is nothing short of phenomenal. Maria, Dina, Giuliano, Tomas, Giorgi, Papus and everybody else are wonderful. Highly recommend.
The hotel has great rooms and facilities. The views to both sides of the island are incredible. The staff is nothing short of phenomenal. Maria, Dina, Giuliano, Tomas, Giorgi, Papus and everybody else are wonderful. Highly recommend.

Everything was spot on , staff are attentive and happy to help, premises and amenities were clean, spacious and well maintained , loved everything about it The only very minor negative and I mean it is not a deal breaker as we loved our stay was the WiFi - in our room and around the premises it rarely kicked in - we struggled to get the internet

Amazing location, with the best views. Attentive and cordial staff. I wish it had a better internet service. Also, I highly recommend investing in a Santorini (mostly) wine program. High end guests come to Santorini, for the culinary & wine experience.

The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Our shuttle left early before breakfast and they made us all breakfast boxes on the day we left. Panos was the most gracious host. He made restaurant reservations and car reservations The view was amazing and perfect for the sunset. It is a few miles outside of Oia so the we did not have the craziness of the crowds. Highly recommend.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The staff was attentive, remembers our names, and provided service 24/7. Breakfast was included and was delicious. The pool was great and the view was even better. The only thing about this hotel is the location is not close to much of the sights however, the hotel staff was very accommodating organizing transportation for my party. 10/10 would stay here again.

View stunning but the hotel is located outside of the town so you have to walk up a steep hill or get transport to local amenities. Room a little tire. Unable to get food for 2 nights a week due to staff days off and was a limited snack style menu which was dissapointing especially due to the location.

We stayed in a Honeymoon Room, which had plenty of private outdoor space for two sun loungers and a table with chairs, along with that incredible view. The rooms themselves are well-equipped and comfortable. While the fixtures and fittings are showing their age, this didn't affect our stay. The breakfast was good: a buffet style with plenty of options, available until 11:00 AM. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location to explore all the island has to offer, however we highly recommend hiring a car, especially if your staying more than 3 nights. Santorini is stunning but often oversaturated with tourism. If you want to stay away from the crowds and relax, this is the perfect place for you."

The personal hot tub was a nice touch, as well as the patio and bistro table where we enjoyed the view with a few glasses of complimentary wine. The pool area had a shaded area near the bar where we also enjoyed Greek pizza, wine, and the sea view. Outstanding hotel and staff.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only downfall is their kitchen was hardly open and the selection was very minimal. You could do takeout, but the food wasn’t very good where we ordered from. The nearest grocery store was a 20 minute walk, which we were grateful or we would’ve starved.

Good location. Limited breakfast. Less amenities than surrounding hotels (like afternoon tea or treat, bed time chocolates, etc), but we’re always available 24/7. Did a great job arranging taxis. Great pool and views. Bar and food service very nice. We sat by the pool and got several delicious smoothies at good prices. Rooms were wonderful and spacious and cooled down nicely. Would stay again.

The perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation in Santorini. The area is very quiet and the view is amazing. Skip the sunset in Oia and watch it from the pool deck/pool bar. We had the most amazing stay at Xenones Filotera! In our liking it was located just perfectly between Imerovigli and Oia with an amazing Caldera view. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves excellent Greek food the nights you wanna eat in and just watch the wonderful caldera sunset. Otherwise Imorovigli with all its lovely restaurants is just next by. Next door is also Roka with absolutely top Japanese food for a change. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay, quiet, relaxing, beautiful and to a real good price as well. Will for sure come back soon again!
