Nice people who own the place, doing their best, Yreka has fallen on hard times, and I thought this was the case 20 years ago, but much worse now. The property owners keep a clean, well maintained room with good quality bed and pool. The wifi is slow. The bathroom could use an update. But for what they charge, you’d be a fool to expect this. Happy to have an inexpensive place to stay there, and it’s close to a pretty good restaurant.

First of all, this property met my primary criteria; clean, comfortable, and quiet, particularly the latter. We had a very pleasant stay there, and would stay there again. My biggest complaint, and it's a pretty minor one, is that it would have been nice for the pool to be open. Maybe it was too early in the season.

Budget friendly hotel. Nothing fancy but that's on for us. We got two rooms and they were both super clean and that's all we wanted. The breakfast isn't much. I would plan on getting breakfast somewhere else. Staff was friendly. Parking is easy. No complaints.

Edges of carpet were dirty, bedspread was dirty with others’ hair on it. Threshold of doorway needed better repair. Door lock and card was difficult to get to work. Toilet very low. Poor lighting. One lamp could not be plugged. Insufficient light anywhere to read by. Much room for improvement!! Good grab bars to assist getting out of tub/shower.

Inexpensive pet friendly hotel. A little deep cleaning would go a long way. Bathroom door was filthy. Staff was friendly. Dead bolt did not work when we arrived. It was fixed the first night. I have never seen a light switch so close to the shower. Did not use the shower because it did not appear safe with the light switch about 4 inches outside the shower curtain.

So cheap for how nice of a place it is. High ceilings and the toilet was sealed with the paper strip, so I know it was clean. Lol. It’s the little things. Pool is beautiful and the people that run it are fantastic. I’ve stayed in way too many hotels over my life time, even lived in some so I know what I’m talking about. You’ll love this place. Highly recommended!

The hotel looked on a unaestically pleasing from the outside, but once I walked inside I was pleasantly surprised. It had a fridge and a microwave. It was very roomy with tall ceilings, much larger than the average motel room. The TV outdated, but worked properly. The price was more affordable than other hotels nearby. I would recommend it if you're not too picky.

Loved it at first, super vintage with a pink tub, sliding glass door, retro carpeting and furniture. Front desk is very nice. Would have been great for one night, but we stayed an extra. Power went out at least three times during the day, heater barely worked even set at 82° and the blankets were really thin and covered in cigarette burns. It's May, so it's not like there was much of an excuse for the power outages. It's just a really drafty room. There's a ton of garbage all over the property, dirt around the sides of the carpet and it really shows dirt and crumbs after one day. None of the outlets work in my room, even the ones in the lamps and my next door neighbor loudly complained about his outlets in the middle of the night as well. Shower was super aggressive. These rooms need to be cheaper until they can get the attention they need.

Of the few working electrical outlets, all were unsafe. Plugs were loose in all of them making them a fire hazard. Deadbolt would not engage. Heater loud onand off all night kept us awake. Wifi worked. Breakfast non-existent. Didn't even see any coffee. Will stay somewhere else on the way home. Sorry. I don't usually badmouth motels but this one is bad.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was 97 degrees outside when I arrived around 5 pm and the AC in the room was off. I turned the AC on and went to dinner. By the time I returned, the room temp was down to mid 70s, but it didn't really cool off until some time after I went to bed. The AC was also very noisy even with the fan on low. The included breakfast was minimal.

The listing on Expedia did not mention a security deposit which they charged then trumped up reasons not to refund it. They claimed we smoked in the room ( which we did not). We do smoke but only outside. They did refund the deposit; but, only after we demanded proof of their accusations.

We were driving down I-5 and needed an inexpensive place to stay. I made sure that we could check in late (the site said we could check in until 3 am, we arrived before 11 pm), but it seemed like we woke up the front desk person. The place is a little run down and could use a remake, as it seemed like it stayed as-is since the '70s. There was also a lingering scent of cigarettes that kept me awake. The "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee, juice, some pre-packaged danishes and tiny muffins, and a couple of different cereals. We ended up getting breakfast from Starbucks down the street. Overall, it was ok for a night en route.

Excellent place to stay, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.. We walked just a few blocks to OMG Burgers and it was amazing!!! Great room with comfortable bed and great shower!

Relax Inn is close to I5 but it was not too noisy. It is close to fast food options. The bed was comfortable and so was the temperature. The shower was better than a more expensive place I visited the couple of nights before. Not sure about the breakfast, would probably have opted for the YrekaBakery!

I liked the ambiance at some level, like it had a 50's motel one-story vibe...but the place was in need of a lot of work. and it was haphazardly brought up to occupancy standards. There's a homeless camp next to it with barking dogs, bbq smoke, and loud music. The continental breakfast is really just a fantasy. Also, they "welcome" dogs and cats but charge you to have them...which is fine if it was knowledge at the time of the on-line reservation. Also, got a weird vibe from the proprietors.

It was Yreka CA. I needed a cheap place for a couple of nights. Says free breakfast. Cereal. and pastry. It was winter. The room was so cold I had the heater up to 85 most of the time. The bathroom was so cold I could not take a shower. The plug on the wall and the lamps were so old that my cell phone charge would not stay connected, even when I bent the plug prongs out. The door was dragging on the carpet and hard to enter. The wall AC/Heatrer filter was very dirty and I had to wash it off in the tub. That was the only reason I used the the tub/shower. I definety should have paid a few dollars more to get a better place. I definetly should have

The bathroom was so cold I could not take a shower. The plug on the wall and the lamps were so old that my cell phone charge would not stay connected, even when I bent the plug prongs out. The door was dragging on the carpet and hard to enter. The wall AC/Heatrer filter was very dirty and I had to wash it off in the tub. That was the only reason I used the the tub/shower. I definety should have paid a few dollars more to get a better place. I definetly should have

Excellent place to stay, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.. We walked just a few blocks to OMG Burgers and it was amazing!!! Great room with comfortable bed and great shower!

It was a good place to stop for the night and the price was right. Skip the "complimentary breakfast". One old orange, 2 yogurts and sugary cereal do not a breakfast make!

This is a great budget place to take a rest after a long drive. Not fancy but have all essentials you need. The front desk staff is nice; the room is clean and spacious; plenty parking spaces, breakfast is simple but good enough for us to grab a piece of fruit, a piece of pastry and a cup of coffee before hitting on the road again. BTW, the room does have a microwave oven and fridge.

Budget friendly hotel. Nothing fancy but that's on for us. We got two rooms and they were both super clean and that's all we wanted. The breakfast isn't much. I would plan on getting breakfast somewhere else. Staff was friendly. Parking is easy. No complaints.

Of the few working electrical outlets, all were unsafe. Plugs were loose in all of them making them a fire hazard. Deadbolt would not engage. Heater loud onand off all night kept us awake. Wifi worked. Breakfast non-existent. Didn't even see any coffee. Will stay somewhere else on the way home. Sorry. I don't usually badmouth motels but this one is bad.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was 97 degrees outside when I arrived around 5 pm and the AC in the room was off. I turned the AC on and went to dinner. By the time I returned, the room temp was down to mid 70s, but it didn't really cool off until some time after I went to bed. The AC was also very noisy even with the fan on low. The included breakfast was minimal.

Road traffic noise was not bad considering the freeway is directly behind the hotel. Outside of hotel has been received a lot of repairs recently, but the bathroom was in poor condition. Breakfast was actually only some snacks and coffee.

Older "highway" motel before interstate. Some improvements but mostly just older facilities. Good price compared to chain motels. Slept good. Breakfast very minimal.

Thanks to the very cheerful and helpful staff member, Karuna who provided exceptional customer service, we were given a very comfortable room, yet again. This is a family owned motel. My husband and I have stayed here many times in the past year and a half. It is an older motel with the rooms a bit outdated, but very clean, sanitary and well appointed with comfortable furnishings, making it a real value for us traveling on a senior budget. A comfortable bed always with TV and internet. The rooms include a coffee maker with coffee and tea, soap samples, refrigerator and microwave. It is a clean and safe location. The air conditioner worked well for a warm days. Conveniently located near old town Yreka. We enjoyed the Thai restaurant. Our room #307 was quiet. We were able to park our truck right outside of our door, making unloading easy. A small continental free breakfast included in the price, This family owned business takes care of us every time. We will stay here again and again!
