Cet hotel pourtant ancien a conservé tout son charme dans un grand parc. L’équipe est efficace et souriante. La cuisine est délicieuse et la situation au centre des sites historiques parfaite. Evitez les chambres trop pres du bar (musique). Superbe piscine tres propre et bienvenue !

This is a very special hotel. It lies in a huge garden with a string of small lakes running through the grounds. There are lots of monkeys running around and lots of huge birds in the trees. It is quite a long walk from the reception to the (furthest) rooms, so not good if you are disables. There is a very large pool and a very large restaurant. There are also a lot of activities on the grounds. It was a pity that we were only staying from sundown to early morning.

Très bon accueil, chambre Deluxe au premier étage proche du lac et du restaurant. Tout est très propre et en très bon état. La piscine est grande et bien équipée. Le personnel est très sympatique, souriant et répond rapidement aux demandes. Le buffet du diner et du petit dejeuner est excelent et tres varié. Je conseille vivement cet hôtel.

This is truly an outstanding hotel in Sri Lanka. The resort spreads out along a large lake with view points in the trees with views that will take your breath away - one evening we could hear the elephants on the other side of the lake - wonderful The entire area is well laid out with brick pathways taking in every inch so walking along these well maintained routes is lovely after an evening meal. The restaurant is fabulous with at least 5 separate areas of food laid out for everyone to try. I would like to mention Thakshila who took amazing care of me and introduced me to various new taste sensations - some were “different” but most were delicious. The pool is huge and the staff were welcoming and attentive. All in all my stay at Cinnamon Lodge was outstanding. If you visit Habarana - there really is only one place to stay

We stayed in one of their two stories suites two bedrooms with living room and three bathrooms with a dedicated butler for our three nights stay. We are very greatful for all friendly support from our butler Asanka and he did a such an excellent job. Asanka made sure everything very comfortable and made such a great experience stay from checking in process, restaurant reservations, laundry facilities, out door tours and arrangements in the suite and all the way to final check out process. We cannot thank you enough for what Asanka did for us during our stay. Also I must thank a lot for all the housekeeping service by Sandeep and Heshan, they did a great job inside our suite cleaning and arranging everything to top class service. Thank you for all your service, we will be back at your resort next time.

Fabulous hotel all round. Beautiful surroundings, especially for the nature lover. Rooms immaculate, lovely pool and gardens and delicious food. Service friendly but maybe too attentive at times. Was a return visit for us and did not disappoint. Highly recomended.

Authentic Sri Lankan hotel set in a beautiful location by the lake. Rooms were very spacious and immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful, asking if you needed anything at various points of our stay. Restaurant food was buffet style. Lots of choice, fresh and delicious. Lakefront is great for reading or for a morning jog. Rooms/facilities are new and well maintained. Staff goes over and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

Staff at the reception and dining hall are exceptional, extremely courteous and professional. Especially, a staff at the dining Navodya Dilshani is extremely helpful. Property is clean, relaxing but buildings need touch up throughout. Would visit again for their hospitality and selection of BF buffet.

This property is outstanding. We stayed in the deluxe suite with our family of four for four nights in total. The kids loved every minute of our stay. The food, the staff, in particular our butler “Asanka” who was the most attentive, caring, polite and just all round wonderful person. Asanka made our stay so enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. The chefs were also so friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed our chats with them at each meal time, they also spoilt the kids with special meals, snacks and even gave them a tour of the kitchen and taught them a thing or two. We will be back! Thankyou once again Cinnamon Lodge.

This hotel is well located for important sites near Habarana. It has extensive grounds, a large pool and looks onto a lake. However, our "superior" room was very tired. Given the price, we were very disappointed. The hotel was full of tourist groups when we stayed. Breakfast and dinner were buffets. There was plenty of choice but some of the dishes were disappointing. There were quite a number of wild dogs in the grounds, chasing monkeys the day we left. The night before our departure we went to reception to settle our bill and waited while the final restaurant bill was added. But in the morning, they stopped us, saying they had forgotten items, which seemed disorganised. This delayed us. Overall, the hotel is rather old now and we felt we paid a lot for a very medicre experience. We stayed in much nicer hotels for less. This property is outstanding. We stayed in the deluxe suite with our family of four for four nights in total. The kids loved every minute of our stay. The food, the staff, in particular our butler “Asanka” who was the most attentive, caring, polite and just all round wonderful person. Asanka made our stay so enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. The chefs were also so friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed our chats with them at each meal time, they also spoilt the kids with special meals, snacks and even gave them a tour of the kitchen and taught them a thing or two. We will be back! Thankyou once again Cinnamon Lodge.

We stayed in one of their two stories suites two bedrooms with living room and three bathrooms with a dedicated butler for our three nights stay. We are very greatful for all friendly support from our butler Asanka and he did a such an excellent job. Asanka made sure everything very comfortable and made such a great experience stay from checking in process, restaurant reservations, laundry facilities, out door tours and arrangements in the suite and all the way to final check out process. We cannot thank you enough for what Asanka did for us during our stay. Also I must thank a lot for all the housekeeping service by Sandeep and Heshan, they did a great job inside our suite cleaning and arranging everything to top class service. Thank you for all your service, we will be back at your resort next time.

I booked with them deluxe room with king bed ocean view, they tried to give me garden view and they were trying to convince me it is the best room in the hotel, my friend discovered that the room was garden view, when we told them, they took us to an ocean view room with with single beds, they tried to put the 2 beds togethers with 2 Matterses with 2 covers. I was so upset because they were trying to cheat me, I asked them for king bed or upgrade with king bed, they gave me the upgrade with king bed. Please be careful because I noticed that all the hotels they will try to give you room less than what you paid for.

We loved our 3 night stay here .The hotel was everything we could have asked for - wonderful ,friendly staff(shout out to Champika and Dilshan and everyone else ),lovely accomodation and the food was exceptional.We came here straight from Colombo airport with our excellent driver ,Dushan Theekshana and while here we climbed Sigiryia Rock ,visited Dambulla caves ,enjoyed a wonderful local cultural show in Habarana and will take in Polonnaruwa on our way to Uga Bay .We could have done a safari but we are doing one later in our trip . So glad we came to Sri Lanka and equally glad we picked this hotel .

This is a very special hotel. It lies in a huge garden with a string of small lakes running through the grounds. There are lots of monkeys running around and lots of huge birds in the trees. It is quite a long walk from the reception to the (furthest) rooms, so not good if you are disables. There is a very large pool and a very large restaurant. There are also a lot of activities on the grounds. It was a pity that we were only staying from sundown to early morning.

Great location, very close to Minneriya Safari. Has a nice jungle vibe, surrounded by monkeys and Toucans. The accommodation and food is decent. We booked four people, but the staff tried to claim that we only get 3 beds. It was quickly resolved and they added an extra bed to the room.

This is truly an outstanding hotel in Sri Lanka. The resort spreads out along a large lake with view points in the trees with views that will take your breath away - one evening we could hear the elephants on the other side of the lake - wonderful The entire area is well laid out with brick pathways taking in every inch so walking along these well maintained routes is lovely after an evening meal. The restaurant is fabulous with at least 5 separate areas of food laid out for everyone to try. I would like to mention Thakshila who took amazing care of me and introduced me to various new taste sensations - some were “different” but most were delicious. The pool is huge and the staff were welcoming and attentive. All in all my stay at Cinnamon Lodge was outstanding. If you visit Habarana - there really is only one place to stay

The property is old, the monkeys and stray dogs is an issue. The food was a huge selection, the desserts looked nice, but only few items are great. The Shisha/ Hookah was too old and the bar staff did not know how to operate the shisha/ hookah for that price. They only placed one coal. There are snakes.

This lodge exceeded my expectations. Big comfy bed with fluffy pillows, best food in Sri Lanka with local sourced buffet. They called to check on me after settling in, provided umbrellas, and surprised me with an artful safari display. Wish I stayed another few days. Pool and lakeside view lovely. The homemade soursop ice cream was heaven in a cone!

Our experience at Cinnamon Lodge was excellent. The staff in particular was very attentive as they always made sure we were well taken care of. Room facilities were great as well. Breakfast and dinner buffet spreads were amazing with tons of flavour made and our tastebuds happy.

Très bon accueil, chambre Deluxe au premier étage proche du lac et du restaurant. Tout est très propre et en très bon état. La piscine est grande et bien équipée. Le personnel est très sympatique, souriant et répond rapidement aux demandes. Le buffet du diner et du petit dejeuner est excelent et tres varié. Je conseille vivement cet hôtel.
