It was very dirty, there was no pool, hot water, AC, secure door lock, TV did not work it was horrific!

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. There was a lot of noise in the middle of the night which made it hard to sleep. The toilet was not mounted properly and felt unsafe to use. The swimming pool was broken and closed, which was very disappointing. Overall, nothing was as expected. I would not recommend staying here.

The property is located at a peaceful and convenient location, very close to the Niagara falls. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The Pool as great. I would definitely recommend this property for a short stay.

Mold on shower curtain, no toilet paper, the pool wasn't open, the microwave door fell off when you opened it.

There were many dining options in the area. The Niagra outlets are practically across the street. The Falls are about a 10 minute drive. The room wasn't that big, but it was not a bad deal I found on Groupon. They had a fridge, a tv, and a microwave in the room. The pool was small, but if u wanna swim u need your own towel. You can't use the hotel ones.

Swimming pool was not functioning, bathroom items were not stocked, refrigerator was not working properly. Ambience and lighting was poor.

Gentleman who checked us in an out was friendly and helpful! Check in, check out quick and easy. Gentleman was friendly and helpful! Room was small, barebones, no alarm clock, but bed was very comfy. Towels are small, but need your own towels for pool. Fashion outlet was close, lots of food options, and shopping near by. It was a good place to stay for a night.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in, had to wait a hour in half. The room had no cable tv. The manager on duty suggested I download my ruko/amazon fire stick for entertainment purposes. He then said because he offered discount that’s why there was no cable tv. The pool was dirty as well. When we did finally check in, the room was clean. The woman who cleaned the room was the best experience of our stay! She rocked!!!

Small hotel, nice pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Small bathroom and no cable tv but i knew that going in so wasnt a big deal to me.

This is a nice place. IT Is close to the falls and restraunts. Has a pool. Who needs a fitness center anyway?

Terrible stay, the carpet had stain, the bathroom has mold. Couldn’t able to use.

It was gross. Stains everywhere. Floors were very dirty. There was black mold in the shower. The tv didn’t work. There were crumbs in the bed. It smelled like smoke even those it was non smoking. The walls had food and who knows what else on them. Don’t stay there unless you want bugs.

I would not recommend this stay, unless you are on a very tight budget or desperate. There were certainly worse looking motels nearby, but this was no too far off from the worst in terms of service, cleanliness or safety. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the carpet was very dirty, the walls had stains on them, as well as the linen. We had to walk over to the nearby Target, to buy our own linens to avoid having to use theirs. The furniture was dusty, and the television did not work. The service was non-existent, and its clear that their focus is on squeezing money out of this business instead of providing any level of quality hospitatility. In general, it did not feel safe. It seems like there are people who permanently stay there, or at least extended stays, drinking outside their rooms. It is what it is - I don't think you can expect too much given the price, but definitely stay at your own risk.

The room was rather dirty.

Arrived and room smelled of chemicals and had roaches. Toilet seat was not mounted to toilet. Very very disappointed and did not stay upon finding roaches. Left at 1am

Motel is unmaintained, rooms were very dirty, beds not clean, sheets and blankets not clean.

It was so terrible dirt rugs the bed looked like it had been sewed in the bathroom disgusting

The room was extremely small, dirty carpet, no cable TV, poor AC, one lightbulb in bedroom, no place to put soap in the shower other than the floor. We don’t recommend this hotel even at $112.

This place is filthy. The towels were dirty, the shower was stained and the carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in 30 years. The pillows were also stained with who knows what. There was what looks like a feces mark on the bathroom wall and a red stain on the bedroom wall that resembled dried marinara sauce. Also had no cable hooked up or basic antenna TV hooked up. Only 2 accessible and available plug sockets. Hand prints all over the walls. Cobwebs in corners on ceiling.

Room really small. Shower backed up. Toilet would not shut off after flushing. No tv or cable. It’s ok if you just want to shower , sleep and leave for the day.

This is an older property with a dirty carpet. No fridge, no thermostat.

Started off that they could not find the key to my room. Room was small, but clean, or so I thought. Neighbor in next room played rap music all night. In the morning, no hot water for shower. Now I have what looks like bug bites over my right eye. Would never stay here again even if they offered me money.

I won’t blame the property but our stay was a disaster as the persons in adjacent room were playing TV the whole night on high volume and we couldn’t sleep at all. The walls of the rooms are thin so you can hear everything. It was a very bad night for us!!! I would suggest that property should make a rule about quiet hours. We were exploring the Niagara Falls whole day and at night we want a good night sleep but it was disaster. We literally thought of leaving the property in night itself.

Very basic great owners very friendly but rooms are very basic and dated only 4 channels in the room . But on the good side great location for shopping and dinning . Probably a good option for a night if u are shopping or dinninv in the area

Motel was a hole, only one outlet so either you have a light or you can charge an item, floors were barely cleaned, and was hardly bigger than a jail cell with a bathroom to match.

Clean room, dated white sheets & pillow cases. 4 channels available on TV & no remote. Walls were non insulated between rooms so you could hear if more than just talking normal. No complaints as I got what I paid for, no frills or thrills. Thats why its a budget friendly motel. Sure other motels/hotels avail in area but at 2-3x the price. Just needed a place to sleep & shower.

They sent me an email saying they're waiting for me to show up so they can give me a key. It took me twelve hours to get here and I arrived at 2:45 am to find out, i'm gonna have to go somewhere else for the night. I called four times no answer. I knocked on the windows and doors and rang the bell and I got nobody. Since there was no service provided, I expect a full refund per the law. I don't care what they're no refund policy says. They did not provide the service that I paid for. Therefore I am entitled to a full refund.

Staff was very accommodating. We checked in a little after ten. After that the office was difficult to find someone to talk with; would not answer the phone. With that being said I would stay there again.

The owner was really nice, very nice guy.

Owner was absolutely amazing. Basically became our concierge for everything Niagara Falls. Was very personable. Rooms were updated, clean, and well kept. Will definitely stay here again on our future trips.

Got in late but Tareq went out of his to accommodate my stay. It worth what you pay honestly. Also the room has refrigerator and microwave, it’s actually better than other Inn around who charges more but don’t even have microwave in the room. Def will go back and stay here again. There was no one in the office when I tried to check-in. The office was locked. I was out in -18 degree Celsius for 15 minutes. A kind client in another room had to call the manager to help me.

The room had no fridge and no wifi. I went to front desk after checking in to ask about a fridge since all the places I’ve stayed at had a mini fridge or provided it upon request, the woman at the front desk acts like she wants you to beg for her help. With no fridge, wifi and having to deal with a rude person who’s happy to take your money for zero customer service in return, I wasn’t about to stay there and went to a store to connect to wifi to contact hotels.com for a refund. I have a long history with hotels.com and while I have stayed at many budget places that haven’t been nice, I have never been motivated to check out immediately or asked for a refund. Then hotels.com talked to them and told me that they said they had already offered me a solution (lie) and that a fridge could be provided to me. So I went back to talk to them, a rude, low class man of the same ilk as the woman. He said he could upgrade me for $50 to a room with a fridge. What a joke. The place is already a dump and like I’m going to pay $50 for something basic that should be in the room anyway? When I also point out the wifi doesn’t work and if he could come to the room to prove to him it doesn’t work he said that’s my problem it doesn’t work and starts shouting and swearing. Read their google reviews, the low rated reviews will tell you that they’ve always been like that. I contacted hotels.com for a refund since I never stayed there, I checked out after contacting hotels.com.

Property was outdated and.not very clean at all. We waited for almost an hour before we could check in because the owner was not on site, and there are what appears to be permanent residense in some of the rooms a few of such people were even arguing about owing one another money for drugs ect.

Overall it was a good option choosing Swiss Cottage Inn. Staff is helpful and cordial. You have plenty of dining options near by. Overall safe area. Property is old and It may need minor repairs. But considering the cost and location, it was worth staying here.

Everything i needed was close by

As a single male traveler, it met my needs perfectly and was an excellent value. If my wife had been with me, she might not have been as happy. Less than ten minutes to the falls.

Arrived to very limited lighting, the sign out front was super dim. Sign outfront says rooms are $69. And Canadian money at par yet I was charged way more online-got screwed on that! The room, were you check out/in smells like someone had been smoking a pack a day Cigarettes without opening a window. How to move cob webs away from the door to get into the room, which look like something out of the 60s. The bed was on an odd angle for zero reason, carpeting that hasn't been changed in 40 years and smells like it, very limited lighting and no electrical plugs. The bathroom looks like you're about to die from a serial killer. And it's so tiny that you smash your head or knees on the sink which was constantly running because the taps were broken. When went back out to get luggage. All the outside lights were now off and it was so dark. And there's random people wandering around. The next morning, the cleaning lady is going in and out of rooms at 7 AM smoking, & talking so loud with some local guy. There's random chairs outside the rooms. Which people think is okay to sit outside and smoke dope and carry on super loud conversations at all hours. Walls are paper-thin. So had the privilege of hearing the family next to us carrying on conversations till 1AM. If you don't care about your safety or Cleanliness, then go ahead and stay here. Just make sure everyone knows where to have your body sent when you're killed. AVOID AT ALL TIMES!!!!

Friendly staff, and very convenient location if you are there to shop and go to popular American stores (target, Aldi, Burlington, five below, etc) are all in a less than 10 minutes from the Inn. For the price you pay the Inn is not bad at all, of course don’t expect much but if you are basically out the whole day and just need the place for sleep this would be an ideal Inn. Definitely will come back again when I come back to Buffalo!

Close to the attractions we were visiting….staff friendly……room fine for what we were needing. A place to sleep shower and head on out to our destination

I just felt the area was very run down and it made me feel unsure if I was in a safe place or not. Next time I will definitely spring for a room closer to the falls. At night our door was covered w mosquitos so as soon as we opened our door they all flew in so we had to spend time killing mosquitos before bed. It was quite during the but I couldn't wait to leave.
