The hotel is dirty and falling apart. The hot tub was broken which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. I would not stay here again.

This property had good ratings on Expedia for cleanliness but we did not find that to be the case. The property is badly in need of updating. Our bathroom was not very clean and there was no light in the shower at all. The room was dark and dingy, and late on our second night there, we found that there were bugs on the ceiling, dropping stuff onto the bedside table below. We informed the staff in the morning and were able to get one night (out of 2) refunded (later, via Expedia -we had no problem at all dealing with them and getting the refund.). Breakfast was okay, but crowded - not enough places to sit. Gym was pretty good - a few machines and free weights. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment about that. The hallways were dark and they had scent machines trying to make things smell better, but the scent being pumped in was overwhelming. There were people smoking weed on a bench right outside the back door, which we had to keep walking past to get to and from our room. Wanted to use the laundry room, but there was only one washer and one dryer and people waiting, so we drove to a local laundromat to do our laundry instead. There is a Friendly's just down the road, as well as a GREAT donut spot called Donut Dip. Overall, the general area seemed safe enough, but this place is badly in need of a deep cleaning and an update.

There were dry wall patches on the ceiling, you could barely walk between the bed and dresser/cabinet, hallway carpet and elevator floor was nasty, pool burned ears and nose, someone stood at the breakfast area door and watched everyone eat like a creep. Night check in people were nice.

Very pricey, outdated, Saturday morning [included] breakfast only until 9. The free all day coffee was hot and delicious. The place was very clean [except for the huge cob webs on the ceiling in the lobby] but the air freshener in the halls was sickening. It wasn't as bad in the room, but very unnecessary.

Room was dusty and bathroom shower was moldy. Housekeeping staff knocked on door and asked if we wanted our room cleaned they never made the bed up all they did was dump the trash can. The hot tub was extremely hot to where you couldn't even sit in it. Parking lot was clean so that was good when entering the main hallway the smell of air freshener was overwhelming so if you have breathing problems don't book here.

This particular Comfort Inn is very poorly maintained, which is noticeable even before you get in the door. The front entrance is like red with cigarette butts, the shrubbery is unattractive due to large weeds, the floor in the entrance is dirty. The screens on windows are torn. If we had had another option we wouldn’t have stayed , but it was just a place to lay our head as we were passing through. Very disappointing.

The room was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom sink dripped the whole stay, and water dripped outside the window from somewhere upstairs constantly. Housecleaning was there every day even though the sign said they would only clean every third day. The front desk clerk at check- in was dressed very unprofessionally-all in black, goth style, with knee-high boots, stockings, and choker-chain necklace.

The place was okay. The major problem was the room. The heat went in and out all night. Eventually it was just blowing cold air, we had to shut it off. The shower was broken, the handle on the shower didn't work. There was very little water pressure, and no hot water for morning showers. I probably will not stay here again.

Refrigerator was turned to zero (off) so i had to rely on my cooler w ice, bathroom vent didnt work and had 2" of filth inside, tv remote didnt function. For what it was, it was otherwise clean just outdated compared to other hotels. Should have been cheaper cost for the stay

The room was dirty with dried blood on the door frame, we booked two queen size beds and ended up with two full size, there was toilet paper behind the toilet and the shower was filthy we didn’t even use it. The pool had so much chlorine it burned your eyes just from the smell. The caisher who checked us in was rude with no personality what so ever and when I went down to ask for an extra pillow I was told they couldn’t get me one because they were alone and couldn’t leave the desk. This was after I stood there for 5 minutes before finally saying excuse me to get the lady off her phone

The staff were very nice, the young man working breakfast in the morning was amazing super friendly. The night front desk who was working at check in was very sweet. As was the women at check out and housekeeping. Great staff!

I had a super great stay! Only negative was I called for a late checkout and was told yes then the hotel got mad at me for not knowing it. It was clean the the tv’a worked.

Some shady characters hanging in front of building. Clerk at front desk was nice enough, but after walking with multiple bags/luggage, all the way down to the end of the hallway to the room I was assigned, the room keys did not work. Had to walk all the way back to the front desk for the clerk to say "Oh sorry. My bad, I forgot to program the keys". Finally walked into a room that had an awful smell to it (can't describe, but not good), rug was dirty, microwave was dirty and made a loud noise once it was turned on, coffee/tea maker was also dirty. Bed was not comfortable, comforter made out of some strange paper like material. Exit door at the end of the hall near my room was open to the public. I know this because I originally parked in front, but then moved it to the exit door near my room to be closer when coming & going. People in and out till all hours, banging on room doors saying "I know you're in there! Open the door!" I did not feel safe at all. Was supoosed to stay 2 nights, but checked out after the 1st night. The front desk agent was very nice. She checked us in qickly. She upgraded us as I am a Choice member. She gave directions and information on the surrounding area. The continental breakfast was great and lots of options.

Booked a room for multiple days but broke down and didn’t check in the first day, got to the hotel to find out they sold my room to someone else and wouldn’t reimburse my money. The room was clean as well as indoor common areas, but the pool area, outside sun patio and the exterior of the hotel itself could use a good power washing. The hotel is in a commercial / professional office complex across from an indoor ice rink but is quiet and safe at night.

Very pricey, outdated, Saturday morning [included] breakfast only until 9. The free all day coffee was hot and delicious. The place was very clean [except for the huge cob webs on the ceiling in the lobby] but the air freshener in the halls was sickening. It wasn't as bad in the room, but very unnecessary.

Room was ok ! No liquid dish detergent , no utensils, and only 1 regular coffee. I tried what appeared to be drawers and cabinets but they did not open! Dish washer didn’t appear to work. Put dishes in and turned on but never cleaned them. Dishes and such were not real clean when we went to use them. Curtains were off their hooks and counter was sticky. Our room w as close to the ice machine and staff rooms. Ice machine didn’t bother us as we knew it was there but what did definitely bother us is at 6 AM is when the staff came in how LOUD they were! Breakfast on Sunday was until 9 but the staff was very eager and did start to close down and clean before 9. There still were people eating!!!!! I realize the staff has to start working but they need to quiet down!!!

I didn’t love a few cleanliness aspects of the room/pool but as a mom with her kiddos I’d say it was a great environment. Better structure around the waffle maker would be cool. I couldn’t leave my 4 & 6 yr old at a table alone with that many people bustling about. We waited well over an hour for a darn waffle.

We ate the breakfast and I threw up for the rest of the day and missed my daughters lacrosse tournament and had to drive home 2 hours while pulling over to throw up. Awful!!!!

I booked the trip last minute and the price was decent for the amenities I wanted. I called the hotel because there was no way I could check in by 3pm. The staff assured me it was not a problem. We made it there around 8 and check in was easy. Decent size room, clean, had a microwave and fridge which was needed. Pool looked great but didn’t have bathing suits. It was quiet, and I slept well. The next day I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options and everything was delicious. The juice was chilled and coffee perfect. They had blueberry batter for the waffle maker. I was in heaven. I checked out at 11 but my son needed a few more minutes and they were so understanding. Nobody made us feel uncomfortable. Friendly helpful staff. It was also close to food, gas stations, etc. Would recommend and stay at comfort suites inn again!

I have stayed at several hotels in West Springfield but this was my first stay at this Comfort Inn. I had a fiasco with another hotel cancelling my booking and this entire area was sold out on a Saturday night (Columbus Day weekend) and after rechecking dozens of times through the night, this hotel popped up, it was very expensive, but I booked to get any room I could to not mess up my trip plans. Circumstances impacted price and won't be factored into review. I had room 117, right behind the lobby, and it was a suite with a kitchen, living room with lovely warm fire place, and separate bedroom! It was very comfortable, spacious, and mostly clean, although I found a couple spiders in the bathroom and there was a tile missing by the room entrance. The staff were friendly, I told them about my situation, and he told me how several people called to get a room, but they were sold out, and I certainly got lucky! Staff kept referring to key card rather than answer directly about breakfast or check out times. The room had plenty of lighting and a full size fridge. Water pressure was good, shower had some stains, and bathroom counter could be more spacious. I did not like how breakfast ends at 9am daily, too early especially on weekend, although there was a good selection of items, I liked the omelettes, and left satisfied. I will consider this property again in future when in the area, it is a bit secluded, but was quiet! Older property but maintained relatively well!

Hot tub wasn’t hot enough. Hotel appeared to be rundown a bit. Took a shower in the morning and the water was like warm. Never really got hot and it’s not because too many were showering. The hotel wasn’t filled at all. Very disappointed.
