Grecotel Eva Palace

Great location and fantastic staff. Pools and beach were nice although the situation with the sun loungers was ridiculous with other guests "claiming" sunbeds from before 07:00 am! The hotel did nothing to alleviate this issue. Whilst we enjoyed our time there, this issue alone would prevent us from returning. A shame.

There are planty of stairs in the property and very slow 2 elevators only. If you want to go to the beach or pool you have to take into consideration many stairs climbing

Tout y est magique ! Le personnel attentionné, les infrastructures très classes et pratiques ( piscines,salle de sport et plage). Le buffet est excellent et d'une variété inouï ! Le cadre calme et aux nombreuses activités possibles sur les 3 sites du groupe. Mérite le nom de Palace, et je remercie les attentions et cadeaux offerts pour mon séjour anniversaire ! J' y repars vite !!!

Great place. You can use the facilities at Grecotel Corfu Imperial next beside as well. That is reasonabke since a lot of pictures on Eva Palace webpage actually comea from Corfu Imperial. The beach at Corfu Imperial is good and have sun all day but the small beach at Eva Palace doesn’t have full sun until 14:00 and is very small. Next time we will stay at Corfu Imperial instead. But Palace is a very nice place with spectacular gardens.

Beautiful property, clean, amazing scenery. The only thing the elevator there is only one elevator for the whole sixth floor and it was slow so usually we use the stairs.

The staff were lovely and attentive, the pool was great and the view across the bay with the mountains of Albania as the backdrop was very beautiful. There was also a beach and multiples bars The only small gripes I had were that many of the amenities were hard to locate and there wasn't much signposting. Also, some of the meals that weren't included in the package were quite expensive, and there were a couple of restaurants in the area that did delicious food for a more reasonable price. However, I very much enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

Really enjoyable stay, October visit and we had a warm welcome, nice food and great landscaped grounds! Very minor pool niggles - cold pool and all the sun beds reserved or taken, they could have done with more - but beautiful place and would still return.

At the end of a day of travel, we were just keen to relax in our air-conditioned rooms. We received a complimentary dinner on arrival, which was a lovely touch and much-appreciated, but did further delay arriving at our rooms. The lady helping us with the check-in process was exceptional. We had booked a deluxe and junior suite. The rooms were connected by a dedicated door to our apartments and were spacious and comfortable with great views, especially at sunset. We were advised to arrive early for breakfast each morning because at peak times there is a queue and a wait. This isn't ideal when coming on holiday and wanting to wake up and dine in a leisurely manner and most mornings we did have to queue. There is, however, refreshment available while you wait (juice and sparkling wine) and the staff do a good job of quickly rearranging tables to minimise the wait. The staff at breakfast were all great, with some standout employees. The property is not ideal from an accessibility perspective as there are steep and numerous steps to the pool and to the beach. There is a problem with sun loungers by the pool being reserved and not being used. The hotel is in a remote location but this is addressed by the bus service to the town centre. There are plenty of outstanding, reasonably-priced restaurants ranging from a three to a 20-minute walk

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We were updated to a beach front suite overlooking the ocean. Stunning view and beautiful suite. The only thing that people should be aware of is that there are a lot of stairs on the property. If you are not fit it might be difficult maneuvering the property.

Vackra omgivningar med fin välskött trädgård och flera stränder att välja på. Utmärkt frukost med många varma och kalla alternativ. Jättesköna sängar, betydligt mjukare än de brukar vara runt medelhavet. Bra tryck i duschen. Tyst AC på rummet som gick att reglera själv. Vi använde även systerhotellets faciliteter som strand, pool och glassbar.

Property is just a little outdated-and not necessarily what I’d consider a luxury resort. We had ants in our room and the pool area was a bit mildew-y. The staff were nice and helpful except for the Hertz rental car lady they had inside the hotel. Maybe would rent car from outside entity next time. Overall we had a good stay we just were underwhelmed.

Il me soutenaient que les mots "vue mer"reflétaient la catégorie de la chambre mais ne garantissait pas une vue mer!!!!!! 2 jours plus tard, ils m en proposaient une autre avec le meme problème! La chambre est petite, aucune décoration, on ne tient pas à 2 dans la salle de bain, sale car a été nettoyé une seule fois en une semaine, les éléments de robineterie se dégondent (comme les placarts)... et ce qui soutenait la douche s est desincrusté du mur et est tombé. Les carreaux de la piscine sont couverts d une épaisse mousse jaunatre (crasse?), absolument répugnant ..et rien n est nettoyé, les carreaux extérieurs de la piscine sont très très glissants(ma fille est tombé 2 fois), c est vraiment dangereux . Ne parlons pas du buffet à 55 euros par personne, une horrible cantine , j ai de meilleur souvenir de ma cantine scolaire, produits bas de gamme et toujours trop cuit! On est sans cesse harcélé par des guépes (à vraiment éviter pour les enfants et personnes sensibles) (j ai été piqué 2 fois). 2 autres restaurants dans l hotel qui sont de bonnes qualité mais avec des prix stratosphériques. Peut etre que Grecotel devrait faire un point moins de marketing mais améliorer son service client qui à mon avis n atteint pas celui d un 3 etoiles.

My pet peeve in hotels is when one says it is 5 Star but has no clue what 5 star is. There are so many other options on Corfu Island I really wish I would have chosen another! The property is pretty worn and you immediately get a "cruise ship customer" vibe from it. From the moment you walk in the reception process is odd - its a "please go sit in the bar while we complete your check in"? 30 minutes later 2 very confused ladies seemed to finally get us semi checked in but insisted that I download the hotels app to complete registration and used for ANY AND ALL REQUESTS? ARUGH... There is little to no staff to assist, no concierge, no one at reception only a "travel desk" that will help you book an offsite tour for 3 times the amount it is online... Our room smelled like sewer and no one bothered to look at it until the next day leaving us to plug our noses all night and race out of the room in the AM. They don't accommodate hotel guests with restaurant reservations in the hotel so if you didn't book weeks in advance your stuck with the gross buffet downstairs where you will pay a whopping 50 euro each for the worst food of your trip. Overall, I found the place tacky and catering to people who have never stepped foot in a true 5 star hotel. I would recommend a hard pass on this one if your looking for a truly lovely experience - this hotel will not deliver.

Millions of ants and flying bugs were on the back of the curtain. We immediately went back up to the front desk. The lady apologized & asked us to sit down and wait. About 15 minutes later they walked us to another room on the other side. We walked in and sat down and the staff member left. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and like someone had just smoked in it. Being that we are non smokers we didn’t want to stay in a smoking room (signified so when making reservations) we didn’t want to be a bother but it was overwhelming. We went back to the desk (now a good 45 min after our arrival) and explained to the lady that had checked us in that we didn’t want to be a bother but that the first room was full of bugs, and the 2nd room had an overwhelming cigarette smell. She didn’t seem too concerned and just asked us to sit down again. At this point I asked ti speak to the manager. She ended up telling us we may go sit in the bar until she could have him come up. The manager came up about 20 min later and told us we could order drinks and appetizers and he would get us another room personally. By the time we finally got another room it was an hour and a half later from when we arrived (9:30 pm). In the end we got an equal room but it was extremely frustrating after traveling all day.

Plus: - very attentive, friendly and helpful staff - one of the best breakfast buffets we've seen so far - public/common areas in very good shape Improveable rather than 'Minus': - the room itself should have received some slight renovation during the off-season (partially loose/broken silicone joints in the bathroom, bent and loose toilett flush plate, too few and badly placed racks/hooks for towels to dry)

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to (and I am a frequent traveller). The nature is outstanding and they really take care of the outdoor surroundings. The hotel itself is not a 5* one, I would say a 4* (the main building needs a bit refreshed to get a 5* status), and the staff needs a bit more training for that to be credited 5*. While we had an amazing experience and a wonderful welcome that we very much appreciated (a birthday cake and champagne upon arrival), there were tiny aspects that made me see why itțs not at 5* yet. Some of the staff in the breakfast/dining area were kind of rude (because at the start of breakfast there were not enough staff and those present were running around quite stressed). On our last day we had to leave early to the airport and we did not know that we had to book an early breakfast so we were there at 07:20 (the breakfast starts at 07:30 - very late for such a resort with so many people!) and even though most of the food was displayed and we told them that we did not know about the booking of an early breakfast we were shouted at that we should not touch the food. This kind of attitude is incompatible with any hotel rated 4* and above.. I would say book the hotel for its nature, for the beach, for the absolutely fantastic surroundings, but do not expect it to be a perfect 5* hotel.

Muy bien situado para poder desplazarse por toda la isla . Las habitaciones son amplias , cómodas y nuevas . Las vistas al mar fabulosas. El desayuno muy bueno y variado . No me gustó que el cuarto de baño estuviera separado de la habitación por un cristal transparente, había una cortina pero también transparente ( con una cortina tupida se solucionaría ). .

Can’t say enough about the views -from everywhere -the lobby, the breakfast, the seaside, the pool, the restaurants AND the seaside rooms.

Service is very slow. The staff is not very engaging. Initial greeting and welcome was great. After that, poor service. Very difficult to get the basics, coffee, ice, towels, drinks at outside bar.

Ever since we stepped into the hotel the service was incredible, we were treated to a welcome drink overlooking the sea and the service from the guest services team was amazing. The pool is incredible and you have access to the other Grecotel hotels which was nice to switch it up each day. The food is incredible we went to the Italian at the imperial hotel a lot and the pool bar offers cheaper options for every day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be coming back!

The guest services/concierge, all accessed via easy What’s App requests was top notch. They helped with boat tours and restaurant reservations that were top notch!

We were greeted with a nice upgrade, unfortunately when the hotel staff walked us to our room they noticed a leak (water in the room). Okay issues happen, I get that, the problem is it took them over 5 hours to get us another room so we lost one evening. It was give us some time, over and over again. We will NOT be back ever, if it was not late into the evening we would have just left.

Magnifique palace avec tout le confort de la gamme. L’hôtel est sur une presqu’île magnifique entouré d’autres hôtels de luxe dont 2 du même groupe. Pour y aller: prendre un taxi ou demander à l’hôtel l’horaire de la navette. Nous sommes venus en bus puis à pieds mais la marche est sacrément intense pour y arriver.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff. Views from the rooms are incredible. Recommend a trip to the Mylos restaurant a short walk from the hotel which has amazing views and food.

Highly recommend for a family getaway. We visited with our baby daughter for a week and would love to have stayed longer. Suggest doing half board as there are limited other food options close by.

The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated. Only issue was it was far from all the restaurants and the happening places... The taxi was expensive to the old town. They had a free shuttle service which we took once but the return time was after 4hrs, so took a taxi back to the hotel. Which will cost you minimum 35Euro. You better book half board or full board

Vi hade en helt underbar semester på Eva Palace Hotel. Services var enastående, frukosten god, utsikten vacker, poolområdet mycket bra och den privata stranden var supermysig. De erbjuder även en gratis shuttle bus som går in till Corfu town 2 ggr om dagen. En vid 11 och en vid 17 och de avgår sedan 6 timmar senare från Corfu town. Kan starkt rekommendera detta hotell!

Pros: Very good and helpful and frendly staff. Very good and high quality food. Cons: there was a hard technical problem in the bathroom. But it was fixed in one day only. And we got a significant compensation for the inconvinience.

On arrival, the building is impressive and it looks and feels like a luxury hotel. Check-in process seems unnecessarily long and drawn out. At the end of a day of travel, we were just keen to relax in our air-conditioned rooms. We received a complimentary dinner on arrival, which was a lovely touch and much-appreciated, but did further delay arriving at our rooms. The lady helping us with the check-in process was exceptional. We had booked a deluxe and junior suite. The rooms were connected by a dedicated door to our apartments and were spacious and comfortable with great views, especially at sunset. We were advised to arrive early for breakfast each morning because at peak times there is a queue and a wait. This isn't ideal when coming on holiday and wanting to wake up and dine in a leisurely manner and most mornings we did have to queue. There is, however, refreshment available while you wait (juice and sparkling wine) and the staff do a good job of quickly rearranging tables to minimise the wait. The staff at breakfast were all great, with some standout employees. The property is not ideal from an accessibility perspective as there are steep and numerous steps to the pool and to the beach. There is a problem with sun loungers by the pool being reserved and not being used. The hotel is in a remote location but this is addressed by the bus service to the town centre. There are plenty of outstanding, reasonably-priced restaurants ranging from a three to a 20-minute walk

Vackra omgivningar med fin välskött trädgård och flera stränder att välja på. Utmärkt frukost med många varma och kalla alternativ. Jättesköna sängar, betydligt mjukare än de brukar vara runt medelhavet. Bra tryck i duschen. Tyst AC på rummet som gick att reglera själv. Vi använde även systerhotellets faciliteter som strand, pool och glassbar.
