Holiday Inn Madison at The American Center by IHG

Breakfast was way overpriced for what was served. Many free breakfasts have more variety. Don’t bother, just go to a diner. Room had only one outlet at nightstand and that was after unplugging clock. I needed two. Room curtains do not block light at all.

Old not to my standard…..breakfast was fine….staff was fine…..location great.Needs some love and attention to property.

The room was very dusty/dirty behind the beds, and the lampshades were very dusty. The bath shower was dirty. The carpet in my room was very stained and dirty. The mattresses did not have any bedbug covers on them. The bed skirt was dirty, but the manager said it was worn out, but I suggested to take it off since it looks so dirty. The hallway carpet was coming up in several places needed to be stretched or replaced. I stumbled several times on it also, I told that to the manager, she said it was going to be replaced eventually, and I stated that someone could fall and that could be a liability for the hotel itself. My overall stay there was terrible. The door key card would not work several times during my stay I ask for housekeeping services did not get it until I called down to the desk and asked for towels and washcloths and so forth. The guy at the desk asked me if I could come down and get him. I said no my back was hurting someone bring them to the room and he was very rude, but said yes he did deliver the towels and so forth to my room after about 45 minutes of requesting them I’m very disappointed in the Holiday Inn.

Great staff and quiet location. Perfect place to rest and get a quality night sleep.

Hotel was nice. Nothing special nothing horrible. It was nice and open. Pool was nice. Breakfast was at a price. I read wrong and assumed it was a continental. But other than that everything was great.
