Hotel is undergoing renovations, so it’s noisy outside. Overall the place was clean. Only issue was walking downstairs to get ice because machine on 2nd floor was broken.

I'm giving them an overall 5 stars for trying dang hard. The property is in transition. Give them a shot. I expect it will get better with each passing week. It's not without issues currently. No elevator in a two story property. The room I was in was musty. Big red (nail polish?) stain in the carpet in front of the sink. Bathroom door had issues. Shower door had issues and the hinges are coming out of the wall. Beds weren't all that comfortable. At breakfast, the waffle batter clogged and had ended up in a big mess on the floor. There's not really enough parking for the number of rooms. The staff are really trying though. So I would stay there again before I pass final judgment. It's hard work to turn around and rebrand a property.

There was a nightclub next door that blaster music until after 2am. The room lighting was poor, shower stall was too small, no elevator and was under renovations.

This property is a work in progress as of June 2025. It was bought out and the new owners are doing renovations. My first impression, the property was relatively clean. The staff welcoming. I was put on the second floor. And there was no elevator available at the time of my stay. The staff was able to help carry our bags upstairs due to I have medical issues. There was no way I was going to be able to do it. Down the hallways leading to my room, several different light fixtures were in the process of being renovated so there were wires exposed. An unmanned ladder was left all day on Saturday in the walkway. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The door for the bathroom slides open and close. The first time my son went to the bathroom, the handle broke. I did inform the staff but didn’t see it as a reason to change rooms. She was very polite and willing to move us. We left out bag with toiletries at home. The staff was very sweet and gave us extra shampoo and conditioner because the bottles were small. They were very accommodating. At check out, we needed help again to get the bags downstairs. Again, a staff member assisted us quickly and made the inconvenience of the elevator out of service not so bad. Honestly, we would stay again. Hopefully a little further in the renovation stage.

Entire hotel needs updating!...from the carpeting in hallways, to the rooms themselves...chipped paint..nicked up walls...damaged wall fixtures...non operational ice machines

Hot water was minimal. Exterior door entrance was always accessible w/out room key, pool was maintained daily but more chemicals and filters running overnight would help, breakfast choices were always same and minimal, juice machine still out of order. Hotel management seemed more interested in putting new exterior cameras up.

Shower Door wouldn't shut. Water all over the floor bc of it. Dude passed out in the hallway. Puke on the floor headed to the 2nd floor.. this was right there in front of the front desk.. still there in the AM. ( NO elevator)...ice machine on 2nd floor didnt work. Free Breakfast was average at best. Didn't go to the pool but looked at it...hard pass. Bed and Pillows were comfy.

Currently under renovation, limited parking, decent breakfast. Fine for a one night stay.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. There was a cockroach crawling inside of the closed fridge. Not sure how it got there, but I am glad I did not have anything besides water in there.

This has to be the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First, when we got to our room, the door was wedged open with the top safety lock, then the toilet had not only not been cleaned but someone had destroyed it. They put us in another room, then that bathroom had not been mopped, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the shower door didn’t close and with all these rooms that dirty I bet the sheets weren’t even washed between guests, but the beds just made. With the price of this room, I am so disgusted. I would have expected this from a $50-60 room. Not over $100.

Breakfast was great. Staff, as always was friendly, and helpful as usual. The hotel is usually quiet, and very clean. Never had any problems. Knock on wood.

The list is too long to list. For starters eh ked in at 9pm. The the toilet was clogged, went to the front desk and they did not have a plunger and that maintenance would not be in till 8am. I have to go to Home Depot to buy my own plunger. I saw two bed bugs, and a few roaches.. I took photos. Night time front desk was cold, acted like she was forced to say nice things. Didn't seem realistic more an act. I was there because my father's funeral was down the street I was traveling from out of state and funeral expenses had limited my funds to find a better place.. I should have just spent the extra money.. Don't stay here... Play the extra money to stay elsewhere.

My room looled decent.However, there was a roach in the microwave and one in the shower.That made me feel very uncomfortable.

Hotel is under renovation. Room was dirty. There was a food container shoved behind the TV. The wall looked like it had food thrown against it. Sink was clogged. Small black hair stuck to the wall

There were roaches in this hotel I actually thought it was a fluke initially but I was killing roaches my entire stay. At one point when I spoke to the front desk receptionist she actually said “ I haven’t had any complaints” she also said “I mean it’s a hotel we have roaches”. I have stayed in too many hotels to name and I have NEVER I MEAN NEVER SEEN ROACHES. She proceeded to give me a nice full can of RAID 😳 haven’t had any complaints huh but you have roach spray on deck , Ms Please! Unfortunately because of the time frame there were no hotels available.

The room was filthy.and shower seem to have black mold

Overall experience was terrible. There was roaches in the refrigerator the bathroom all over the room. I immediately left the hotel.

Dirty washcloth on the bed when we checked in, urine in commode, rusty light fixture.

The room was nicely remodeled but with little water pressure and brown water flowed out of the tap when first turned on. Check-in was slow--a plodding but nice person. Overall--price is right and I'd stay again (if water issue was fixed).

Absolutely horrid experience. If I could give zero stars I would. From check in to check out it was the most horrific experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. At check-in we should’ve just turned around and left. They tried to give us a room that smelled like smoke from the moment we opened the door. When we went downstairs to let them know, they told us that they would change us right away no problems gave us the room next-door, which also smelled like smoke. The fact that there was no elevator should’ve tipped us off right away and they put us upstairs all the way in the back. Why do you not have an elevator for a two-story hotel? They then put us downstairs in a room that smelled musty but did not smell like smoke. We opened the door and there are stains on the curtains stains on the wall cracks in the wall stains on the carpet. It was just absolutely abysmal. The door to the bathroom was a pocket door and did not fully shut or lock. There were cracks in the wall, crack in the sink, and the door to the shower did not fully shut or lock. We figured we were just sleeping there for one night so we were just going to bear with it and deal with it. We left for the evening and came back later and the parking lot was absolutely full of cars as was the restaurant parking lot next-door. The restaurant next-door had music absolutely thumping from it that we could hear in our room as well that did not stop until well past 2 AM. We woke up to cockroaches in our bathroom.

My room had been recently renovated. Was extremely clean, the bed felt like one could melt into it extra fluffy pillows.The entire staff from check in to check out were all amazing and extra kind, helpful and accommodating!

Quiet but cluttered because repairs. Part of ceiling in bathroom might fall out soon. Moldy ceiling & walls. Hopefully the next repairs get to be the rooms.

Light over the sink didnt work. Half of the lights in the main part of the room didnt work. The a/c was barely keeping up and it wasnt even that hot. The mattresses were wore out (you could feel the springswhen you lay on the bed)!

It was par. Nothing over the top. Only one downside is the shower door wouldnt close.

This hotel is in major need of renovation. It is way over priced. The carpets are old and will never look clean. They smell and look worn and faded. The room also smells like mold covered up with room deodorizing spray. The window coverings have holes in them and the bed’s mattress was very uncomfortable and lumpy. The hotel description said the bed was “queen” size but it was “full”. The description also said there would be a “buffet breakfast” included but it was a “breakfast-to-go” with very limited selection. Staying at this hotel was a highly disappointing experience.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast each day was 10/10 with plenty of options. Did not get time to check out the pool unfortunately. Only a few minor complaints: water pressure was constantly low in the sink and the light above sink mirror was very dim. With all that to say, we will likely stay again if we come back to the area.

After a long day of driving we received fast friendly service from Keita

Asked for a late check out, which as a traveling band, we need that flexibility and have never in 18 years of touring run into a hotel which wouldn’t accommodate that request. Were hounded to leave at 11am after arriving at 2:30am. Ultimately not a venue we can stay at I t he future.

It took over 30 min to get checked in even though I booked on line and paid in advance . Front desk clerk was bogged down with recollecting security deposits from long term “stays” this seems to be an issue with some hotels that are listed on hotels.com . This should be disclosed to hotels.com so customers are aware of issues that long term stays present to travelers . If this was disclosed I would have chose a different property so I didn’t have to wait why they ran kept running one of these long term stays debit cards to get their 100.00 deposits .

Overall, the place was fine. The room was clean and not bad for the price. However, when we arrived the door to our room was broken so we were moved for the night only and would have to move again in the morning. In the morning the door to the original room was still broken so we were moved to another room. While out for the day, the staff proceed to move our stuff out of the room without our consent or any notice to another room due to a "system issue". The only way we found this out was when we returned from being out all day, the key to our room did not work and there were people inside our room. The lady at the front desk had no idea to start where our stuff was or the fact that we had been moved to now a third room at all. Eventually, our belongings were found to have been moved to another room, and we were now staying in there. I have never had this happen to me staying at any location before, let alone have this done with no notice to us at all until we came back at night to find people in the room we thought was ours!

I booked this online for my brother to have a place to stay for a night. The woman at the desk, Theresa was profiling my brother and refusing to help him get into his room. She kept telling him she had to physically swipe the card. We had to drive from Charleston 30min away at 10:30 at night. My friend who has worked in hotels for years told us it is common practice that there was a form she could have emailed. She was the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. She kept judging that my brother would be disruptive and how she was worried. Again profiling based on his appearance. She even threatened to call the cops at one point. I have never been so upset with customer service and will never recommend Sleep Inn to anyone. Especially if Theresa is the best they have for that position.

It is twenty minutes from downtown but was close to the airport.

Great location. Easy to find from the highway. Our room was very clean and the staff were all friendly and hospitable

This is a good spot to use for a base for exploring the Charleston area. It is easy to hop on I-26 and get to Charleston in 25 minutes depending on the time of day.

Wouldn’t stay again. Police sitting in parking lot all day, there is a club/food place next door music is extremely loud. Just seems like a very crime ridden area

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Nice, helpful, perfection!! We stayed in 233 and our neighbors all kept their doors open and traveled between rooms all night which was odd, but they didn't disrupt. When we got there, they had a table in the pool but the ladies working went in and removed it. It was very loud at night with the club next door. All in all, will defiantly consider them again. A very special kudos to the front desk clerk. The vending machines were down, and she gave me one of her cokes!! Above and beyond!

Easy access off interstate. Several restaurants nearby.

It was quiet and in a convenient location. Next to Walmart and a gas station along with a shopping center. Unfortunately, the manager isn’t much help when it comes to booking and reservation assistance. There was also a few missed placed things when housekeeping came .

Took a long time to check in and the worker was very unfriendly. Then was given a room with 2 double beds instead of a queen. In the morning went to make coffee and the coffee makers water reservoir was filled with old moldy water and was disgusting. Went downstairs to get coffee and breakfast and breakfast ended at 9. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that breakfast ended at 9. Then next morning was woken up early to housekeeping knocking and saying housekeeping repeatedly and I wasn’t even checking out that day. Won’t stay here again.

They offer breakfast but it was just pancake, yogurt and cupcakes. I was expecting a little more. Clean facilities, small rooms, good parking and excellent food around.

The hotel is looking pretty shabby. We were arrived around noon, most hotels will let you in the room early if it’s ready. The hotel was empty, very few guests and they said if we wanted to get the room early it would cost an additional 50.00. Check in at 3 and leave at 11:00. The original reason for checking in at 3:00 was to give the maids time to get the rooms ready, it was never intended to turn a guest away when a room is ready. 3:00 is was never meant to be a disservice. I use to be check in at 11 and check out at 11:00. It has become a scam! The breakfast only had 1 yogurt and the milk was half full and we were the first to arrive for breakfast.

Spot on sheet. Changed on request. Bedspread was a little dirty in spots. Front desk staff and cleaning crew were outstanding. Breakfast had meager offerings. The stay was pretty good until Friday night when loud music started about 9 pm and didn’t stop until 1:55 am. My impression was that there was a bar nearby.
