Tip top, Hundefreundlich. Ideal für Wanderungen. Frühstück gut.Einzig negativ, Restaurant erst Abends geöffnet. Jedoch genug andere Möglichkeiten im Dorf. Nur 5 Minuten Gehweg ins Dorf. Mega Aussicht. Wir kommen wieder.

Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp is a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the single room with a balcony and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sauna/steam room on site, electric hot water kettle in rooms, common ski room with boot dryers in lockers, covered parking, and a good restaurant on site. My room itself was small, but very clean, had a nice view of the valley/mountains, a balcony, and small closet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only negative is the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5-7 minutes to the train station. But, it was well worth it for the quality of hotel and value. Also, the restaurant is very good, my chicken cordon bleu was one of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.

Wir haben uns im Hotel Bänklialp sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und wir konnten unser Zimmer bereits bei unserer Ankunft am Morgen beziehen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Vom Balkon aus hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Engelberg und die umliegende Bergwelt (Zimmer mit Bergblick). Das inbegriffene Frühstück war reichhaltig und genau richtig für einen guten Start in den Tag. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Eingang des Hotels hat es hat es eine gemütliche Terrasse und auch Parkplätze für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen sind verfügbar. Den Preis von CHF 10.-- pro Nacht finde ich allerdings sehr hoch angesetzt. Im Vergleich dazu, kostet der Parkplatz bei der Brunni Bahn und den Titlis Bahnen im Sommer CHF 5.-- pro Tag. Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti all'hotel Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp ed e' stata una sorpresa piacevolissima. Camera molto bella con balconcino con vista su tutto il paese e sulle montagne, ottimo ristorante, ottima colazione, personale gentilissimo e c'è anche una zona spa con sauna e bagno turco.

Hôtel très bien situé, avec des vues imprenables sur Engelberg et les montagnes .Excellent accueil . Ambiance conviviale, chambres agréables et propres. Buffet du petit déjeuner bien garni et très bon. Adresse à recommander sans réserves.

Gorgeous location for the hotel, and clean rooms. Rustic vibe. Extremely pretty view from the windows and good breakfast. Be warned it is a little difficult to carry luggage manually up the steep slope to the hotel. Taxi to help carry everything costs 16 CHF from the station to the hotel.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich schäbig und seinen Preis auf keinen Fall wert! Der Hotelflur ist komplett schwarz gestrichen gewesen und hatte grünen Linoleumboden - Krankenhaus-Katakomben wirken dagegen freundlich. Das Bett hat an allen Ecken und Enden geknarzt und sauber war es auch nicht wirklich. Die Duschkabine ist aus den Angeln gefallen und die Oberflächen waren volligst zugekalkt. Der angegebene Balkon ist zur Gemeinschaftsnutzung mit den Zimmernachbarn gedacht - nicht ideal für uns - wir sind mit Hund unterwegs gewesen - das Balkongeländer war auch nicht geschlossen, Unfallgefahr! Im Restaurant gab es erstmal ne Ansage "ihr hättet reservieren müssen, wir sind fast voll!" Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! Für alles Gäste gab es auch nur 2 Servicekräfte, was heißt dass wir relativ lange warten mussten auf alles. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und der Aufenthalt war teuer und sehr enttäuschend - nächstes Mal lieber durchfahren!

Charmigt hotell med fantastisk utsikt över Engelberg och bergen omkring. God frukost och rent och fräscht.. Vi bodde 4 i ett familjerum för 4 och hade gott om utrymme, tyckte vi. Återvänder gärna.

Wir hatten ein sehr günstiges, ein Nachtzimmer. Das Zimmer war klein und leider hatte es am Fenster Gitter. Meine Frau meinte wir seien im Gefängnis. Das Bett war sehr laut wenn man sich nur umdrehte knirschte es und somit hatten wir die Matratze auf den Boden gelegt und konnte gut durchschlafen. Die Nachbarn hörte man leider auch, ich wurde am Morgen wach weil ich diesen schnarchen hörte. Dazu hört man alles vom Gang her. Aber Frühstückstisch war der Hammer. Lieber etwas mehr einplanen dann ist es sicher mega😃

We were unable to reach the property by phone for 3 hours in late afternoon/ evening regarding our booking, and as a result we had to make another booking at a different property as suggested by Hotels.com customer service. We were promised that Hotels.com would take care of the refund of this booking but Hotels.com keep delaying our refund and shift the blame to this hotel. We are extremely let down and angry with both the property and the hotels.com customer service team’s lack of honesty and responsibility.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich schäbig und seinen Preis auf keinen Fall wert! Der Hotelflur ist komplett schwarz gestrichen gewesen und hatte grünen Linoleumboden - Krankenhaus-Katakomben wirken dagegen freundlich. Das Bett hat an allen Ecken und Enden geknarzt und sauber war es auch nicht wirklich. Die Duschkabine ist aus den Angeln gefallen und die Oberflächen waren volligst zugekalkt. Der angegebene Balkon ist zur Gemeinschaftsnutzung mit den Zimmernachbarn gedacht - nicht ideal für uns - wir sind mit Hund unterwegs gewesen - das Balkongeländer war auch nicht geschlossen, Unfallgefahr! Im Restaurant gab es erstmal ne Ansage "ihr hättet reservieren müssen, wir sind fast voll!" Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! Für alles Gäste gab es auch nur 2 Servicekräfte, was heißt dass wir relativ lange warten mussten auf alles. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und der Aufenthalt war teuer und sehr enttäuschend - nächstes Mal lieber durchfahren!

Wir haben uns im Hotel Bänklialp sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und wir konnten unser Zimmer bereits bei unserer Ankunft am Morgen beziehen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Beim Eingang des Hotels hat es hat es eine gemütliche Terrasse und auch Parkplätze für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen sind verfügbar. Den Preis von CHF 10.-- pro Nacht finde ich allerdings sehr hoch angesetzt. Im Vergleich dazu, kostet der Parkplatz bei der Brunni Bahn und den Titlis Bahnen im Sommer CHF 5.-- pro Tag. Ansonsten ist das Hotel Bänklialp sehr empfehlenswert.

Gorgeous location for the hotel, and clean rooms. Rustic vibe. Extremely pretty view from the windows and good breakfast. Be warned it is a little difficult to carry luggage manually up the steep slope to the hotel. Taxi to help carry everything costs 16 CHF from the station to the hotel.

Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp is a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the single room with a balcony and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sauna/steam room on site, electric hot water kettle in rooms, common ski room with boot dryers in lockers, covered parking, and a good restaurant on site. My room itself was small, but very clean, had a nice view of the valley/mountains, a balcony, and small closet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only negative is the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5-7 minutes to the train station. But, it was well worth it for the quality of hotel and value. Also, the restaurant is very good, my chicken cordon bleu was one of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti all'hotel Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp ed e' stata una sorpresa piacevolissima. Camera molto bella con balconcino con vista su tutto il paese e sulle montagne, ottimo ristorante, ottima colazione, personale gentilissimo e c'è anche una zona spa con sauna e bagno turco.
