Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff.

Il est tres surprenant et decevant de faire payer en sus le transat et la serviette a la piscine ( 13€).Si la piscine est agreable son environnement est exigu et moyen . Le petit dejeuner est bon mais peu varié

The hotel is a beautiful old building! But needs updates! Very clean and the staff was great!. There is charge for using towels and lounge chairs in the pool even if you are guest! Not cool! Rather pay and visit the beach clubs across the street.

Premier séjour, car nous reviendrons. Personnel de réception très agréable et professionnel. Beaucoup de cachet. Chambre spacieuse et propre, avec tout le nécessaire en chambre et salle de bain. Ambiance 19e avec salons cossus et salle de restaurant très belle. Petit-déjeuner très complet et service impeccable. Piscine très agréable. Accès gratuit et on peut laisser ses affaires sur les chaises qui bordent la piscine si on ne veut pas louer de transat. Plage de l'autre côté de la rue. Une petite plage "libera", autrement plages privées. Centre ville à 1km , le long de la promenade. Parking gratuit mais emplacements limités, donc premier arrivé, premier servi.

L'hôtel a un parking beaucoup trop petit pour toutes les chambres disponibles... Obligés de se garer à 20 minutes à pied avec les valises en plein cagnard. De plus la climatisation est ancienne et très bruyante. Donc vous crevez de chaud ou vous amenez des boules quies pour le bruit. La piscine n'était pas top (disons que les photos laissaient entrevoir mieux que ça...). Le petit déjeuner était très bon et le personnel très sympa.

Hôtel très vieillot, insonorisation inexistante, literie moyenne et personnel à l’accueil assurant le strict minimum. Le bassin de la piscine est superbe, mais très peu de place sur la plage périphérique et les transats sont payants ! Jamais vu ça ! Il y a du personnel inutile (deux maîtres nageurs assis toute la journée au lieu de nettoyer le bassin plein de feuilles). En dehors du personnel de service du petit déjeuner très agréable, il n’y a rien qui vaille la peine de s’y poser.

This hotel one of those resting on past glories. On a noisy, busy street the hotel was modernised in the 50s so not quite the Belle Epoque grandeur expected. It is also a 40 minute walk to the dismal underground train station in Sanremo. Outdoor pool was shut (opens 1st June) and sunbathing area closed off despite it being 82 degrees and other hotels having theirs open. Breakfast was also dissapointing and nothing special.

Ett mycket charmigt och trevligt Hotel. Det är slitet, men rent och fräscht. Det slutna ger en charm från det förflutna. Bra och rejäl frukost. Väldigt bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Gratis parkering. Hotellet ligger väldigt bra med nära till Centrum och stranden. Nedanför hotellet finns både solstolar som man betalar för samt en public strand. Personalen på hotellet är super vänliga och hjälper till med allt som man önskar. Vi är supernöjda och kommer gärna tillbaka 🌟

Séjour en famille , bien passé, bel hôtel très grand, propre et personnel sympathique. Qui a su mettre en place rapidement, une surprise qui avait été demandé pour l'anniversaire de ma belle mère qui avait été oublié. Une bouteille de prosecco nous a été offerte à La place et la surprise a pû avoir lieu. Merci encore à L'hôtel Londa.

Hotellet kändes gammalt och slitet. Det som var ok var frukosten samt att rummet var rent. Tyvärr var sängarna stenhårda och dåliga kuddar. Smutsig poolrand. Vi blev inte nöjda.

Très bon séjour et hôtel bien positionné sur Sanremo ! Les équipes étaient très agréable, au top et le lieu dans son jus mais donne du charme. La piscine était encore fermée malgré la chaleur dommage. Le seul côté négatif serait une mauvaise isolation des chambres du coup on entend tous le bruit extérieur.... Dommage

Old grand hotel in reasonable condition, in need of a few upgrades but in the whole nice staff, good break fast comfortable beds pool and bars good. Room 118 has no wifi so if you need don’t ask them as they can’t or won’t fix , rest if the place has good wifi . Lower rooms a little noisy overhead good bathrooms .

Schöne Meersicht aber sehr laut (Strassenlärm Tag und Nacht) Hotelpool kostenpflichtig auch für Hotelgäste 10.- Euro pro Liege. Geht gar nicht!!! Morgenessen sehr dürftig, nicht Viersternehotel würdig, kann ich leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Personal ausserhalb sehr nett, der Herr an der Poolbar unmotiviert und unfreundlich.

Si vous n’avez pas vue sur la mer vous aurez le droit à un parking. La piscine est plus salée que la mer à vous en piquer les yeux et la gorge sans compter le fait que les transats sont payant pour les clients de l’hôtel aussi. Donc pas possible d’en profiter. Nous ne sommes visiblement pas tombé sur la bonne personne pour le check-in qui était désagréable mais tout le reste du personnelle a été ultra souriant et sympathique.
Si vous n’avez pas vue sur la mer vous aurez le droit à un parking. La piscine est plus salée que la mer à vous en piquer les yeux et la gorge sans compter le fait que les transats sont payant pour les clients de l’hôtel aussi. Donc pas possible d’en profiter. Stayed only one night. Lovely views. Grand old hotel, showing signs of age but we just looked past that. Close to town and the ocean. Also close to main road into and out of town, resulting in traffic noise.

The view and staff make this place what it is. Waking up to waves crashing on the beach and the beautiful views of the riviera are awesome. Everything you need is walking distance, from shopping, dining and that historic hike through old town.

Lovely hotel very reasonable priced. Excellent location with free parking in large lot at back of hotel. No issues whatsoever. Perfect location for beach clubs and short walk to centre. Large very clean rooms. Dated furniture but absolutely charming. Everything worked well and will stay again. Amazing value for money given location and free parking and breakfast

A view of the Riviera from a balcony on the top floor will overshadow any little flaw. The hotel has past its grandest days but is still a majestic site on the Italian Riviera. Good breakfast, good and free parking, and within walking distance to town.

This hotel one of those resting on past glories. On a noisy, busy street the hotel was modernised in the 50s so not quite the Belle Epoque grandeur expected. It is also a 40 minute walk to the dismal underground train station in Sanremo. Outdoor pool was shut (opens 1st June) and sunbathing area closed off despite it being 82 degrees and other hotels having theirs open. Breakfast was also dissapointing and nothing special.

The hotel is of a grand style but is now just faded grandeur. The rooms are acceptable but a superior with a sea view - had the view but the room was squished in a corner. The air conditioning did not work even at maximum. The work area was a tiny desk with a battered chair. The bath has a shower fitted over it - no idea how it could be described as a rainfall shower. In addition the restaurant was closed and the pool was not open after 5pm (end of season is apparently 15 September). Then after just 1.5 hours by the pool they tried to charge us €14 for use of sun beds….they rapidly removes the charge as we had not been informed. I got the sense they did that a lot! Breakfast - passable but coffee was some of the worst I have tasted…. This is Italy …coffee from a vacuum flask really!!

Sentral beliggenhet i forhold til matbutikk og bakeri. Kort vei til sjøen og restauranter. Hyggelig personale. Den inkluderte frokosten var bra. Unngå å spise middag på hotellet, det var ikke særlig bra mat.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. War mal chic, das ist allerdings schon lange her. Netter junger Rezeptionist. Zimmer war für die sonst geltenden Preise sehr günstig, deshalb wohl auch die Lage zur Straße und die Einrichtung aus den 1950ern. Allerdings mit einem riesigen Balkon. Frühstück ist gut, wird in einem großen Saal serviert, der auch für einen Ball ausreichend wäre. Klasse Pool mit einem sehr netten Barista. Hat für eine Nacht gepasst. Mir ist rätselhaft, wie man dafür die sonst gültigen 350 Euro oder mehr bezahlen kann. Das Beste ist auf jeden Fall die Lage!

Hôtel très bien situé dans San Remo on peut tout faire à pied en laissant sa voiture au parking (vite plein d’ailleurs) - belle bâtisse pour cet hôtel qui mériterait un coup se jeune. Chambres avec belle hauteur sous plafond - décoration minimaliste un peu désuète. Piscine très agréable et serveur au restaurant de la piscine très sympathiques et serviables. Dommage qu’il faille payer les transats , pour un 4**** du jamais vu! Petit déjeuner très bien, il manque juste une terrasse pour qu’il soit parfait.

Faded glory. We enjoyed imagining the marble staircase hidden by the cheap imitation wood Lino and then imagining the beautiful cocktail bar and piano room, had it been open. The dining room was stunning, but the breakfast was less than ordinary. A glimpse into a lost past.

La struttura è un po datata, come del resto molti hotel della Liguria. Cortesia e gentilezza all'accoglienza. Pulizia ottima! Comodità del parcheggio che la struttura offre gratuitamente Note negative: servizi della camera con doccia ricavata nella vasca, poco pratica e ormai antiquata. Colazione non proprio adatta ad una struttura che si qualifica come grand hotel a 4 stelle: poco scelta dei salumi ( solo spalla cotta e un salame che devi tagliare in autonomia ) poca scelta nei dolci, solo una torta ... spremuta di quelle acquistate ... tutto buono ma non sufficiente per un 4 stelle, ho più scelta nel nostro hotel estivo a 2 stelle in Romagna.

The hotel is a very charming old hotel from an era gone by. Everything works well and the room was large with high ceiling plus patios. A salt water swimming pool just right outside. A perfect getaway.

Excellent Stay – 10/10 We had an outstanding stay at the Grand Hotel Londra. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night, we received a warm welcome from the concierge, who even tried to speak German with us. We were also given a safe parking space right away. The breakfast buffet offers a great international selection, and every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel’s partner beach club was beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel has a classic charm, and while some areas show its age, everything is exceptionally clean and cared for with great attention to detail. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The value for money is outstanding. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Sanremo. Highly recommended!
