This is our second time at this resort group! We LOVE having such a large property available to us (our hotel plus the Palace location next to us, all pools, restaurants, etc). Our hotel concierge, Edwin, had restaurants booked for us before we arrived! And continued being helpful, and welcoming our entire stay. Good variety at the buffet, each pool had its own perk (depth, shade, activities, quiet). The spa was fantastic. We did a couples massage and used the Hydrotherapy area 3 days. A perfect little hide away from the other busy pools. The cold plunge and clay body masks felt amazing! AND the Chic Cabaret on resort was also very well done! We will be back again.

Absolutely incredible experience. We had a concierge service and Juan was amazing! Whenever we needed anything he helped us right away and made reservations for us at the restaurants that needed them. The resort doesn’t have a shuttle to or from the airport but Juan ordered us a taxi to take us when we left. Everything was very clean and the staff were polite, the beach was just outside our room and it was the softest white sand we’ve ever seen. There was seaweed that would get washed up but they did very good at clearing it out everyday. Lots of different activities to purchase at the check in building, I would recommend finding packages that offer multiple activities for the price. Only downside was some of the sales people on the beach with jewelry or parrot pictures priced things very expensive that you could easily find at the gift shop for a much more reasonable price. You could usually get a lower price with some things but it depends on how much you’re getting to even the cost out. They all tried to sell us weed once they heard we were from America, but it is very illegal in the Dominican Republic. Overall we enjoyed our time and experience there for our honeymoon and will probably go back in the future with a group of friends.

The gardens are really beautiful and well kept. Service by waiters, bartenders, housekeeping was exceptional. Swimming pools are nice. Adults only has a nice vibe. Beach is gr8 for walks. Some sargassum but the water was enjoyable. What I did not like at all was the constant approach of travel club guys to sell upgrades and memberships. Annoying to say the least. Everyday. That is one of the main reasons we are doubting to return to this resort. Restaurants were ok. Buffet was good. Many many options. Rooms could use some more love and public bathrooms really need to be dealt with. Most have broken parts, don't work well, loose tiles etc. Nightly entertainment was ok. Was expecting little bands however none during our stay. Some amateur dj's and shows. It was a nice stay.

The property, all the staff we had the pleasure of interacting with, the pools & especially the BEACH!! were all absolutely amazing! If you enjoy beautiful sunrises & long beach walks, this is the place. The resort was beautiful, very safe & all so well manicured. If you want a ‘Cruise’ like experience, but prefer beach & land, this Resort is the spot. Tips: - Book dinner reservations for your stay when you first arrive. El Dorado steakhouse was my favorite. - Hemingways for pre & post dinner drinks. - Breakfast & lunch buffets were always best when they first begin service. - Explore ALL the pools. They’re all beautiful in there own way. - Beach, beach, Beach!! - & tip the staff!! They’re all so helpful & nice. That much more when you tip. Thank you for a wonderful week!! 🌴☀️🥂

It was a beautiful experience. I e enjoyed ourselves. My only issue was with the guys driving the carts. Each time we asked for a ride, they would be like we are not going that way. For this reason we were lost a lot. This was 80 percent of the time. Never happened at the grand palladium in Mexico or Jamaica. That’s one of the perks of coming. Who wants to be drunk and lost lol.

There was a roach in our bathroom. We notified staff and they came to the room and saw the roach too. They said that they were going to exterminate the room. The very next day we saw another roach in the room. I have pictures. Also the vanity kit in the bathroom was all molded when I when to use it. I didn’t even bother notifying staff because it didn’t want me complaining to ruin my trip. Nevertheless, Staff was extremely nice and welcoming.

No, the staff tried to solve the problem, but it smelled of mold. I got my room moved but the smell was in all the rooms. The morning of checkout the bathroom ceiling started to fall in. My concierge service was top notch. The resort is old and was priced too high for the expensive we endured.

Starting off the checkin was very welcoming. They greeted us and it was nice. The rooms were spotless of course and very comfortable. Edwin checked us in with ease and made us feel right at home. The staff and the whole resort is 100%. I will for sure be back to visit.

Room was disgusting, even after being put in the highest level room it was still gross. There cleaning standards were absolutely below standards. Continued to make our bed with the same sheets we threw on the floor for cleaning, mildew on the sheets, small bugs everywhere. I can go on and on. The hotel needs a huge make over as it’s old and outdated. Staff were absolutely amazing though and tried their best to make us feel better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a higher end accommodation.

I had 2 rooms and had to switch one of the rooms since bathroom was leaking and couldn’t use it. New room AC was very noisy. I had a handicapped person and to get into the shower tub for a shower was a nightmare. Need to accommodate disabled guests. I also asked for a connected room but did not get that. Both the rooms were not disabled friendly. Food options were terrible for vegetarian and vegan folks. Often times I did not know which one was without meat and sea food.No transportation was available for disabled.

It was really easy to book a la cart restaurants and the grounds are beautiful. The beach and pools are incredible. The room was incredibly musty smelling. So much so we were getting headaches. Our toilet seat kept falling off. Having said all that though, the lobbies and common areas were well taken care of. I’m not sure we’d come back and stay again due to the musty smell. I figure it can’t be good for the health but most other things were great if you don’t mind that.

Extremely long check in, finally after I got assigned my 3rd room I was able to check in. Forget about watching tv unless you want to get up everytime and stand in front of the tv to change the station, the tub wouldnt drain. Just a heads up for anyone who has problem with stairs, there are no elevators only stairs.

Overall, our stay at Grand Palladium Punta Cana was good. There were problems on the first two days: no hot water for showers, minibar had not been stocked (bottled water is a must in DR), jetted bathtub did not work. The water issue was MOSTLY fixed—could finally get enough hot water for a short shower—and the minibar issue got fixed, but the tub never really worked. Water only came out in a trickle. We found the food absolutely delicious. Service for drinks was slower than we would have liked. Facilities are decent. Honestly, the worst thing about the whole trip was entitled jerks of tourists—mostly from the Boomer generation—of all nationalities. They ignored lines and just walked right to the front like they’re VIPs. They played their loud music on portable speakers when signs clearly say that isn’t allowed. If I can’t hear the sound of the ocean over your Banda music, your music is too damn loud.

The rooms were not family friendly, the bathroom had a jacuzzi bathtub and a glass door that allowed visibility to anyone in the room. With my son and daughter in our trip, we had to take turns to leave the room to shower and dressing which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient.

O Resort é muito grande e deixa a desejar em muitos detalhes, atendimento conturbado, staf antipático e não está nem aí para vc, muitos tipos de comidas mas todas mal apresentadas e com pouco sabor, bebidas de qualidade aquém do que o hotel promete. Nosso primeiro quarto cheirava a esgoto e tivemos que trocar, solicitamos um próximo pela dificuldade de andar, nos colocaram o mais longe possível. As piscinas tem bastante sujeira e não vimos em nenhum momento serem limpas. Tem que melhorar muito para alcançar o que prometem.

IN GENERAL THE PROPERTY AND FOOD ARE OK BUT THE AE APPARENTLY HAVING SOME ISUES WITH THE AIRCONDITIONING. I TALKED TO THE AIR COND. SUPERVISOR. HE SAID THE SYSTEM IS QUITE OLD AND WORKS WITH COLD WATER. THE CHILLERS ARE GETTING OLD, AND THEY DO NOT PRODUCE ENOUGH COLD. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO LOWER THE ROOM TEMPERATURE TO 23 OR 24 CENTIGRADE. IT KEPT ALL THE TIME AT BETWEEN 25 AND 26, WHICH IS QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR SLEEPING.

Plenty of food options but none good at all. Internet worked for the most part. The transportation was ok as well. What made this stay so bad was the customer service. 99.9% of the time the staff were rude from the lobby staff to the host and server. You would say thank you and no respond. I had one server telling me to read the menu properly because what I was saying was not in the menu instead of helping me by seeing what I was reading from the menu. As it turned out when I went for the second time the other server told me that I was pronouncing it right. They were annoyed when my little cousin and his father didn’t understand Spanish. I saw eye rolling a few times even though I was their translator. I went to the lobby to buy excursions and kept getting different prices. We just decided to buy the excursions from Expedia. I do see myself going back to the Dominican Republic but not staying at this hotel.

The Guest services manager Carlos and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely incredible! Every staff member we encountered—from the restaurants to the grounds—were warm, welcoming, and attentive. 1500 Characters is not enough to tell you how terrible this property was! Terrible food! Tiny sliver of beach right next to huge exhaust and noise spewing boat hub. Waited 45 minutes to check in only to fight to get the loft that I purchased instead of something smaller they tried to con me into taking. BEWARE...when they say that you're a VIP and they have a special meal with massages planned for you...THEY ARE LYING AND ONLY TRYING TO DRAG YOU AWAY FOR A TIMESHARE PRESENTATION!!! I've stayed at many all exclusive resorts under many brands and Grand Palladium is by far the worst! I would never even consider staying at one of their resorts again!

We had the best experience at Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Right from the moment we set foot on the property, Marina (manager of relationship services) met with us. Juan (check in at Punta Cana) was amazing. He made check in a breeze. Carlos (manager) from Bavaro coordinated our experience and made us feel at home. Juan and Marina made sure we had a great room, that we knew all the services the resort offered, assisted with a la carte bookings. We also did a dinner on the beach and they did such an amazing job putting this together. They were flexible when it was to rain on the night of our dinner. Hose Cruz (golf cart) drove us in the resort. He is amazing. Our child has food allergies. The chefs at eat restaurant came out to talk to us, including at the buffets. Chef Marvyn from Las Torres ran the breakfast buffet and he made sure the grills were cleaned prior to making my child’s crepes. Ruth from the pool bar is the best. She made the drinks perfectly. She was always pleasant, always remembered our drinks before we even ordered. Aris, Marian, Dani, and the woman from PoP did such a good job keeping the entertainment flowing. I loved the bachacha and the pool aerobics. We look forward to many more vacations at this resort. It was our second time back and it did not disappoint.

First time visiting DR very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The only issue was the carts that would take visitors from one place in the resort to another. The drivers of the carts would not stop at the designated pickup stops and even when we would call out to them they would completely ignore us. Many other visitors we were waiting with expressed the same complaints. Other than that amazing experience. Santiago at guest services was amazing, great customer service and super helpful!

The resort itself was very nice, but there is a need for more staff. Compared to the resorts we have visited in Mexico Grand Palladium is definitely understaffed. If you’re on the beach and don’t mind walking 1/4 mile in either direction to get a drink, or some food, then this would be a place for you. There is also little to no staff to serve you while at the pool. It is impossible to get a reservation at any restaurant for parties over 2, but thanks to Biki, she was able to help us out. If it wasn’t for her assistance, we would have never eaten at any restaurant. She is amazing. Also, Susana, Claudia, and Diego were amazing at the lobby bar area. The food in the Behique Buffet was not very good and the service was slow. The beach area was not maintained very well and the chairs needed some cleaning. There was also no one out there from the hotel. All in all it was a nice trip, but those in my group all agree that we don’t plan on returning.

The food was awful. The food at the buffet was cold. The best thing at lunch was hamburgers, and nd one day were so rare they couldn’t be eaten. On the beach, there were so many people trying to sell you souvenirs, it was a nuisance. The hotel workers were not friendly

I booked a Junior Suite w/ 2 double beds Poolside for 3. We got a regular room with a King bed and sofa bed. The pool was not visible from the room. It was 50 ft to the nearest pool. In front of our room was a childrens play ground where events were held early every morning. There are only 2 restaurants that do not requiere reservations. Of the 5 nights I was only able to get 2 reservations. We ate at the buffet on New Years Eve. I had to go to 4 hotels before finding the one we were registered in. They ara all Pladium. I was lucky I had a rental car. I stood in line 3 times for check in, 3 times I was told to go to another hotel. They have no central booking. The personel were atentive and very well trained. When we finally arrived at the correct hotel they tried to sell me a time share! I complained about the room and on the 3rd day the Expedia agent contacted me and offered to find us a better room if available. I thanked him and but to move our clothes was not an option.

What made this stay so bad was the customer service. 99.9% of the time the staff were rude from the lobby staff to the host and server. You would say thank you and no respond. I had one server telling me to read the menu properly because what I was saying was not in the menu instead of helping me by seeing what I was reading from the menu. As it turned out when I went for the second time the other server told me that I was pronouncing it right. They were annoyed when my little cousin and his father didn’t understand Spanish. I saw eye rolling a few times even though I was their translator. I went to the lobby to buy excursions and kept getting different prices. We just decided to buy the excursions from Expedia. I do see myself going back to the Dominican Republic but not staying at this hotel.

The Perfect, The good and The bad. Perfect - Cleanliness all around, Strong WIFI in the whole resort, Service was great. Good - good but limited entertainment, may be its due to off season(Nov, 2025); food quality was very good, but labels were all messed up, so be aware if you have specific dietary requirements; Bathrooms were clean but dated. Bad - The check in process was extremely slow. This needs improvement. it took us more than 1.5 hours to get us checked in to our rooms.

Celebrated my son’s first birthday at this resort. Amazing experience. Special thanks to Elvis for warm welcome and hospitality. Thanks to Miguel and Britney to make my son birthday special with gifting him the balloons and candles. Special thanks to the man who checked us in (sorry forgot his name) for sending the best birthday cake to our room. Overall experience was great. I wish the resort had more vegetarian food options.

Buffet food was horrible in taste and quality without many options for those who do not eat pork or beef. Without restaurants for dinner I would not have eaten.

Poor quality control on service, mediocre food quality, pool water too hot and only waist deep ( all pools on the property), difficult process to make restaurant reservations .
