Everything was perfect. Clean and tidy. Amit had everything we needed (coffee, fruit, juices). We did a load of laundry and had detergent provided. Great location to all that we wanted for 4 days.

Me and my daughter had a lovely stay at Amit’s place. Everything in tip top condition. Super clean too. The place has everything one could possibly need during a stay - even a washer dryer, which is handy for longer stays. We felt welcomed. Can recommend without hesitation!

Enjoyed staying here. Small studio apartment with everything you would need. Host went above and beyond ensuring everything needed was there and even light breakfast for first morning in case late arriving. Within minutes drive to anything you may need plus more. No problem in recommending unless stairs is an issue mobility wise

Everything was as advertised. We loved the thoughtful touch of breakfast and snacks. We enjoyed the quietude relaxing in the Adirondack chairs… would glady stay again!

We had a lovely stay. Amrit was very responsive, and gave us all the information we needed prior to checking in and once we’d arrived. The location is a bit outside Halifax but still close enough that we had no issues getting where we wanted to go and the parking was great. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, was still stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed for a five night stay. Everything was very clean and we’d love to stay again if our travels bring us back to the area.

I’m not sure we are the target demographic as we are in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s age range and stayed for over a month in early spring.The bed was very comfortable, if a little claustrophobic. The water for the shower was hot and the internet speed was fast. The laundry facility was very useful and we appreciated the tea, coffee and snacks provided at checkin.Unfortunately there was bad weather while we were there and although the host cleared the snow in the afternoon the next morning I had to clear the stairs and the walkway. The next day was very icy and the steps were very dangerous. May I suggest you cut back the foliage near the steps so it is easier to use the handrail. A bigger tv would have been nice.

Amit war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Wir waren insgesamt 2 einhalb Monate im Apartment und waren sehr zufrieden. Wenn wir Probleme oder Fragen hatte, war Amit immer sofort zur Stelle. Das Apartment war recht klein, aber wir hatten alles was wir brauchten.

Very nice apartment: comfortable bed and sofa, plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped. Very quiet area: we enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the patio. Downtown Halifax is an easy 15 minutes by car but the area has very good restaurants, shopping malls and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly!

It was quite pleasant. The accommodation was as stated, clean, spacious, modern, and close to where we wanted to be: central. There was a lot of stair climbing involved, which was fine for us but maybe not all older people. The bed was unusual but comfortable; the shower was quite spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. In general, it was very acceptable.

The suite was located in a quiet neighborhood, so there are not many restaurants in the area and the few that do exist are quite a distance away. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and chuckled every time we climbed the VERY steep driveway because it was so quirky and interesting. What we were least impressed with was that the bed was a fold away bed, so when you lay down, your head is inset deep into the storage box for the bed. Quirky, but also a little disconcerting. The pillows on the bed included a faux fur pillow which has never been cleaned and should be thrown away. The bathroom silicon needs to be replaced, but the kitchen was well equipped. Fundamentally, it's a suite in a house in a quiet, safe neighborhood that could use some updating and maintenance, but we still enjoyed our stay and while we never met our host, they were very responsive when we needed to ask a question and for check-in.

The unit is very well equipped with everything you could need I.e. electric appliances, love seat, bistro style dining with four chairs and a comfortable queen bed (cabinet bed). What we weren’t happy with is that it is looking a bit tired. Bedding is faded, corners are collecting dust, bathroom window with dead insects. Noise from upstairs above the bed a bit much for us.

I had to leave on Tuesday the 25th due to mold on baseboard ,shower ect ,as i do have asthma. The walk up to the house was slippery as i almost feel a few times and some of the deck boards were rotten. I feel i wasted my money on this stay. The pictures posted were not true pic of the condition .

The apartment was generally clean and tidy, with the amenities as advertised. There were a few issues, which were addressed promptly and graciously by the owner - this was appreciated. We found the owner to be a genuine and accommodating person. Since we were there for 5 nights, the only thing we felt that was missing from this place were drawers for storage of our clothes. Otherwise a very quaint and quiet place to stay.

This lovely B&B was so comfortable and clean and easy to be in. It is set in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, and provided by a responsive, friendly, thoughtful and kind host! The place is like a like a bachelor apartment, with a very comfortable bed, a sofa to relax on while reading or watching TV, a modern, spacious bathroom, and a lovely little kitchenette. I walked in the hilly neighbourhood each day because it was quiet and pretty, set off the edge of Bedford Basin, and the woods and trees along the streets and roads were very calming. My host, Amit, stocked the kitchen and bathroom with many thoughtful things that I so appreciated (any tool needed for cooking, coffee for my first couple of mornings, some fruit, a comfy bathrobe for after showering, and lots more). My check-in was late in the evening, and Amit readily accommodated that, and made it very easy, with clear instructions, a well-lit walkway to the door, and a seamless self-check-in system. I was glad to meet Amit on one of the days I was there, and have a little chat while he was working around his house. It's easy to imagine staying there for longer than my brief 5 day-stay, and I hope to return. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Amit!

The host has anticipated many of the needs of a traveller. The place is comfortable and well stocked. The one thing to be aware of, if you have any mobility concerns, is there are a lot of stairs to get to the suite. Great place to stay.

I walked in the hilly neighbourhood each day because it was quiet and pretty, set off the edge of Bedford Basin, and the woods and trees along the streets and roads were very calming. My host, Amit, stocked the kitchen and bathroom with many thoughtful things that I so appreciated (any tool needed for cooking, coffee for my first couple of mornings, some fruit, a comfy bathrobe for after showering, and lots more). My check-in was late in the evening, and Amit readily accommodated that, and made it very easy, with clear instructions, a well-lit walkway to the door, and a seamless self-check-in system. I was glad to meet Amit on one of the days I was there, and have a little chat while he was working around his house. It's easy to imagine staying there for longer than my brief 5 day-stay, and I hope to return. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Amit!

The place is like a like a bachelor apartment, with a very comfortable bed, a sofa to relax on while reading or watching TV, a modern, spacious bathroom, and a lovely little kitchenette. Enjoyed staying here. Small studio apartment with everything you would need. Host went above and beyond ensuring everything needed was there and even light breakfast for first morning in case late arriving. Within minutes drive to anything you may need plus more. No problem in recommending unless stairs is an issue mobility wise

This is a lovely cozy suite in a quiet area and it had everything we needed including a challenging hike in the woods to the left and close to restaurants on our walk to the right. Perfect location for us, awesome property manager/family, treated us with great care and concern.

We had a lovely stay. Amrit was very responsive, and gave us all the information we needed prior to checking in and once we’d arrived. The location is a bit outside Halifax but still close enough that we had no issues getting where we wanted to go and the parking was great. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, was still stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed for a five night stay. Everything was very clean and we’d love to stay again if our travels bring us back to the area.

The apartment was generally clean and tidy, with the amenities as advertised. There were a few issues, which were addressed promptly and graciously by the owner - this was appreciated. We found the owner to be a genuine and accommodating person. Since we were there for 5 nights, the only thing we felt that was missing from this place were drawers for storage of our clothes. Otherwise a very quaint and quiet place to stay.

The suite was located in a quiet neighborhood, so there are not many restaurants in the area and the few that do exist are quite a distance away. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and chuckled every time we climbed the VERY steep driveway because it was so quirky and interesting. What we were least impressed with was that the bed was a fold away bed, so when you lay down, your head is inset deep into the storage box for the bed. Quirky, but also a little disconcerting. The pillows on the bed included a faux fur pillow which has never been cleaned and should be thrown away. The bathroom silicon needs to be replaced, but the kitchen was well equipped. Fundamentally, it's a suite in a house in a quiet, safe neighborhood that could use some updating and maintenance, but we still enjoyed our stay and while we never met our host, they were very responsive when we needed to ask a question and for check-in.

The accommodation was very comfortable, felt safe, and is in a lovely neighbourhood. The kitchen contained adequate appliances and utensils to make a decent meal. Location is close enough to Halifax to drive there easily, but also convenient to drive to the airport.

Very nice apartment: comfortable bed and sofa, plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped. Very quiet area: we enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the patio. Downtown Halifax is an easy 15 minutes by car but the area has very good restaurants, shopping malls and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly!

Decided to head Down East to visit family and chose to book something different than a hotel room where we could prepare a couple of our meals rather than eat at restaurants all the time. Your location fit the bill and was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We would definitley stay again!

Visiting family - turns out only 8 minutes away. Location was perfect. Easy access to downtown Halifax. VRBO suite has everything needed for visit - 1 to 2 people. Vert comfortable.

I’m not sure we are the target demographic as we are in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s age range and stayed for over a month in early spring.The bed was very comfortable, if a little claustrophobic. The water for the shower was hot and the internet speed was fast. The laundry facility was very useful and we appreciated the tea, coffee and snacks provided at checkin.Unfortunately there was bad weather while we were there and although the host cleared the snow in the afternoon the next morning I had to clear the stairs and the walkway. The next day was very icy and the steps were very dangerous. May I suggest you cut back the foliage near the steps so it is easier to use the handrail. A bigger tv would have been nice.

I had to leave on Tuesday the 25th due to mold on baseboard ,shower ect ,as i do have asthma. The walk up to the house was slippery as i almost feel a few times and some of the deck boards were rotten. I feel i wasted my money on this stay. The pictures posted were not true pic of the condition .
