Veey nice hotel. Nice pool and great restaurant with huge portions. The room was big and the bed very confortable. The only downfall was the noise. The room is not soundproof. Otherwise perfect especially for only 3stars.

Rooms are really nice. Breakfast i al a carta, and you can order what you want. Really good and plenty. eveing dinner was also great. The location of the hotel is great for a trip on camino del rey. Parking was easy (we arrived in the afternoon). The shuttlebus to camino start leaves just outside the hotel. First one is at 7,40, next is at 8,40 and from then on every half our. Breakfast opens at 8,00 o clock. I recommend not booking start of the camino before 9,30. Then you can be ready at breakfast at 8, and order the food straight away, take the shuttlebus at 8,40, and be at the gate to the camino start at about 9.30. (shuttlebus is about 25 min and from there you walk 1,7 km to the camino start point.

Pretty much the only place to stay and eat in El Chorro. Pool was nice, good food at restaraunt and great views over the river/reservoir amd mountains. Right beside bus transfer to El Caminito del Rey. Very limited parking.

We enjoyed this beautiful hotel and pool overlooking a river in natural surroundings . It was close to the Caminito del Rey walking path. The hotel staff were extremely helpful.

A fantastic location for access to the Caminto del Rey and other hiking trails. Great views from the hotel terraces and damn facing rooms. Staff very helpful. Lovely refresh my pool and sun loungers if you wanted to chill. Little else in the immediate vicinity unless you drive out.

If you’re hiking the Caminito Del Rey, or not this hotel is outstanding. I was amazed at how nice this place is for where it’s located. Staff was awesome, as was our room, and the food was excellent. We had an 8:50 start for the Caminito and the bus was right out in front of the hotel to deliver us to the start. And the end of the trail is just a short distance from the hotel. Parking was easy with many covered spots, and not super tight like most places. I highly recommend.

Brilliant stay during our visit to Caminito Del Rey. Hotel is situated right next to the train station and just a 5/10 minute walk away from the South entrance. Room was spacious and clean, only downside was that the air was very dry due to the AC. Lovely pool area with sunbeds overlooking the hills. Outside restaurant area had a fantastic view and would definitely recommend eating there. We did for both nights of our stay and had a great mix of traditional food and drink. Great value for money for a stay during the off season.

Very good hotel, clean, great views, perfect location, our room was two stories high with steps you have to use all the time, ask for a room without stairs. Bus to Caminito is on front of hotel, you finish the walk and you're home free.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof und an der Shuttle Bus Haltestelle (sehr praktisch für diejenigen, die den Caminito laufen). Einige kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf zwei Etagen verteilt (Aufenthaltsbereich mit Sofa unten, Bett und Bad oben). Die winzige Wendeltreppe ist schon eine leichte Herausforderung (also gut überlegen, was man wirklich oben braucht - Koffer mit hochnehmen geht es nicht). Das Bett war sehr klein, aber dich ganz bequem. Das Bad klein, funktional und sauber. Die Frühstückszeiten sind ab 8 Uhr (hat für uns nicht gereicht, da wir den Shuttle vor 8 Uhr nehmen mussten). Wir haben am Abend vorher daher als "Ersatz" ein belegtes Brötchen bekommen. Personal am Empfang freundlich. Fazit: top Option für den Caminito (wenn auch nicht ganz günstig).

So conveniently located by the train station but without any of the noise. Magically stay, beautiful views. They could do better with the soaps and towels, very bare bones there. The pool is absolutely FREEZING!!! They don't heat it at all so it was totally unenjoyable. But otherwise the food at the restaurant was good. Fantastic location for those hiking the caminto and the bus to the trail head is located very near, a couple minute walk or so.

The location is perfect, just next to the station. The food and view at the restaurant are also perfect. Just one thing that the shampoo and shower gel is limited to a little portion for a night. Sometimes, we have few showers in a day coz it's too hot and we went to swim in the afternoon. We don't have sufficient gel for bathing. Otherwise, the staff is very nice and willing to help.

The area around the property has suffered a landslide. This results in a very restricted area for the frequent buses, residents parking and the noise and disturbance of workers repairing and clearing where the landslide occurred. The hotel lobby is often used for non residents to gather awaiting buses, getting passed them can be difficult. Finally our room and I believe most of the rooms cannot receive WiFi. This could be easily rectified with repeater units. Meanwhile those non residents hanging around for buses enjoy good free WiFi.

The room has The bed and bathroom upstairs, be sure to ask if your room has this tight, spiral staircase. The lower level is simply a sitting room with an additional television. We use this only for storage of our luggage. Hotel and its restaurant are very convenient for the train to and from Malaga and for the hikers shuttle bus. I would not choose to stay here again

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, parking available for anyone driving, rooms have great views to wake up to. Be prepared that that double rooms have stairs inside so not for anyone with mobility concerns.

The place is a must if you do Caminito Del Ray. The view is amazing and service was very good. The hotels rooms are cozy with 2 spaces. We got a small livingroom with TV and fridge. Then you take a narrow snail stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. Fun for one night, don't know if I would have liked it for more. Take note that the road to get there is in the mountains, so very narrow abut a lot of parking spot available. You can leave your car there to go to Caminito Del Ray by bus (2.5 euro for all bus during one day).You can also there by train from Seville.

I think this is the most convenient hotel if you would like to go to Camino Del Rey. Hotel have great breakfast, dinner is ok, maybe we selected the wrong dish. They also have guided tour to Caminito del Rey as well. Alberto is our guide and he is super friendly and helpful.

The property was really pretty. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no restaurants in the area, but there is one on site. The young woman serving us was so incredibly slow, I am not even sure how to describe it. Just for example..... We asked for the check, waited 15 minutes. Asked again, waited again. Then someone else brought us the check because she was at the bar on her phone. So so bad. The food was not good, very disappointing. If I could separate the hotel and the restaurant, I would give the hotel a 5 star review (the front desk seemed to be "over" the tourist thing, but most everyone else was nice). I would give the restaurant a 1 star review. So bad.

If you’re hiking the Caminito Del Rey, or not this hotel is outstanding. I was amazed at how nice this place is for where it’s located. Staff was awesome, as was our room, and the food was excellent. We had an 8:50 start for the Caminito and the bus was right out in front of the hotel to deliver us to the start. And the end of the trail is just a short distance from the hotel. Parking was easy with many covered spots, and not super tight like most places. I highly recommend.

Rooms are really nice. Breakfast i al a carta, and you can order what you want. Really good and plenty. eveing dinner was also great. The location of the hotel is great for a trip on camino del rey. Parking was easy (we arrived in the afternoon). The shuttlebus to camino start leaves just outside the hotel. First one is at 7,40, next is at 8,40 and from then on every half our. Breakfast opens at 8,00 o clock. I recommend not booking start of the camino before 9,30. Then you can be ready at breakfast at 8, and order the food straight away, take the shuttlebus at 8,40, and be at the gate to the camino start at about 9.30. (shuttlebus is about 25 min and from there you walk 1,7 km to the camino start point.

Brilliant stay during our visit to Caminito Del Rey. Hotel is situated right next to the train station and just a 5/10 minute walk away from the South entrance. Room was spacious and clean, only downside was that the air was very dry due to the AC. Lovely pool area with sunbeds overlooking the hills. Outside restaurant area had a fantastic view and would definitely recommend eating there. We did for both nights of our stay and had a great mix of traditional food and drink. Great value for money for a stay during the off season.

Pretty much the only place to stay and eat in El Chorro. Pool was nice, good food at restaraunt and great views over the river/reservoir amd mountains. Right beside bus transfer to El Caminito del Rey. Very limited parking.

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, parking available for anyone driving, rooms have great views to wake up to. Be prepared that that double rooms have stairs inside so not for anyone with mobility concerns.

The room was fantastic, and the location was perfect. Shuttles to Caminito del Rey are every 30 minutes and tickets can be purchased at the front desk, and the end of the Caminito del Rey hikes takes you right back to this hotel.

The place is a must if you do Caminito Del Ray. The view is amazing and service was very good. The hotels rooms are cozy with 2 spaces. We got a small livingroom with TV and fridge. Then you take a narrow snail stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. Fun for one night, don't know if I would have liked it for more. Take note that the road to get there is in the mountains, so very narrow abut a lot of parking spot available. You can leave your car there to go to Caminito Del Ray by bus (2.5 euro for all bus during one day).You can also there by train from Seville.

A fantastic location for access to the Caminto del Rey and other hiking trails. Great views from the hotel terraces and damn facing rooms. Staff very helpful. Lovely refresh my pool and sun loungers if you wanted to chill. Little else in the immediate vicinity unless you drive out.

Veey nice hotel. Nice pool and great restaurant with huge portions. The room was big and the bed very confortable. The only downfall was the noise. The room is not soundproof. Otherwise perfect especially for only 3stars.

The hotel is excellent and we loved the room we had. The restaurant though is not good. Ate 1 dinner of the worst ribs I’ve ever had and chicken was not fully. My husband and I couldn’t eat it and the waitress didn’t ask if we liked the food. Would stay again but not eat at the restaurant next time.

Lovely hotel with excellent and very friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was very good and the room was comfortable and spacious. The only slight downside was that breakfast was a little limited.

It was wonderful. The scenery is superb and the swimming pool was just what we needed after a long hot journey. The restaurant was excellent with several vegan options. Breakfast was not buffet style.

We chose this property as best location for Caminito del Rey trail. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the "Movie" room which was very original although not very recommended for people that do not wish to go up&down the stairs but cool touch. The restaurant was very good which plenty of choices and staff on top of everything. I can see this is also a great place to stay in the summer with the pool and the amazing views!
