The staff were not very friendly. The lady today straight lied to my face said she would fix something and didnt. The room was clean but hot when we walked into the room. The elevators had trash in them.

Upon our arrival, the room was not properly cleaned…there were coffee stains and crumbs on the nightstands, as well as a dirty bathroom sink and tub. Additionally, the previous guest left all of their clothing in the drawers. So I had to bag them up and call down to have someone retrieve the left items. The drain to the tub was broken, which was a huge issue because we were traveling with a toddler. The bathroom exhaust fan was also broken. Lastly, the pool was closed ALL weekend, and we were NOT notified upon check-in. We would have selected a different hotel if we had known. When I complained to the front desk staff, they could not have cared less. I was told, “I like to have a pool when I travel as well, so I understand your disappointment.” But what they didn’t see was the 4yo I had been telling all day, after a long travel day, that he could go swimming. The pool was NOT for me. The complete and utter lack of professional, customer service, or empathy from the front desk has absolutely turned me off from this hotel in the future. For 400$/night, this is unacceptable. The only positive note was the restaurant downstairs was wonderful.
