Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Near Bricktown

If they’d had a hot breakfast or at least a microwave and mini fridge in the room, (they didn’t have any of these options available to my boyfriend and I’s knowledge.) then I’d have definitely given them a 5 star rating

Although the room was clean, there were lots of roaches. Especially around on the beds. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Deposit was $40.

The location was a distance from actual Bricktown and very little lighting to make the area somewhat unsafe to walk to. I am a bicyclist on a tour so with my bicycle lights I was fine to still check-out the districts that were my reason for choosing/ booking this property from Expedia, but was a little misleading post-booking from Expedia AND there was not continental breakfast provided; only coffee. The staff were great however, knowledgeable and considerate. The room was in good condition and for the building/property being an older and well-used facility, overall I rate the stay as good!

The hotel is at a great location...10-minute drive to most tourist attractions; however, the property needs some fixes, such as larger towels and better appliances. The coffee maker was broken and wifi was not working either. Additionally, we did not get a good sleep, as a couple started yelling at each other at about 2:00am.

Average hotel, good for a night's stay. Room is comfortable but not maintained well. No room service, no microwave, no coffee machine or fridge. Room service doesn't change the bed sheets, just towels are replaced and bathroom cleaned. Location is very good to access downtown and Brocktown.

It was clean but it was not worth the money They need to renovate it

The best thing I can say about this place is that the front desk staff was friendly and cooperative. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We got there and checked in, went up to the room, flipped on the light and immediately saw a cockroach crawling across the tv. And then one crawling across the headboard of the bed. And then when we flipped on the light in the bathroom, we found two more roaches and their little family in the shower. Needless to say, we went to the front desk and informed them about the issue and that we would need a new room. The young man at the front desk was very apologetic and immediately gave us a new room, but unfortunately we found two roaches on the baseboards of that room. Needless to say, we did not try another broom, simply informed the front desk and then found another hotel. The young man at the desk did give us our deposit back and verified the incident to Hotels.com when they contacted him in order to process our refund. So I am grateful to him. Beyond that, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ve included some screenshots from a video we took and another picture or two. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get any other pics, as the cockroach on the TV went inside the tv and the one on the headboard ran behind it as well.

Mold in the room. Rusty vents. Loud road nearby, no full sized towel. I booked a room with fridge/microwave…. Nope!! No English spoken at check in. Hotel is about 40 years past its prime… hence the 49$ a night price. Just absolutely sucked. I didn’t stay my 2 days…. Hard ass bed was nasty too.

I will not ever stay at this room again they have bed bugs and the service took forever to return my money.

They had bed bugs. I reported this when we left. The room was cute but that doesn’t make up for finding a live bed bug.

It was stink we had a real bad odor in the room that was there the whole 3 days I was there I couldn't get it out it was an awful smell there was roaches real bad and just kind of dirty didn't have two towels Wi-Fi was no good didn't even get no good connection on the Wi-Fi was awful

Parking is hit or miss if you're in a room inside of property. Staff all were willing to move me rooms but they did have roaches. 1st room I paid for and was put in had 5 within moments of entering room. Then 2nd room had 4 roaches over my 3 days stay. I chose to stay in room bc only option. Would be to check out then wait 4 hours till check in. Moving all of my items alone and partner had surgery. So rather than chance being put into another bad one, we chose to stay in 2nd room. Staff was nice. No security for door. Only one lock provided and bare minimum essentials. No breakfast as advertised, only coffee. AC worked good in the room. But overall I would never stay here again.

We left an hour after checking in because I found bedbugs in my bed and my sons bed.

There were ROACHES everywhere

Good spot, clean with access to local highway system. Can occasionally be noisy from truck stopping in to get gas and meals but overall not a huge concern. A very good no frills stop.

The rooms that face the highway are loud with automobile noise but nothing to be done about that I guess.

Beware I 40 is right outside your window, not a bad motel for the price, I'd recommend sleeping with ear buds or plugs due to the interstate noise

Very unsafe conditions and had to put curtain over doorknob because it didn’t fully cover window. Mattress colored in red liquid at head of bed. No blanket on bed just sheet and light throw. Area surrounding hotel was really run down- but that was my fault in not looking at yhe area before booking. Back building g faces street lights that shine though curtains and right next to a busy road where you can hear every car pass all night and day.

Clean and theyre rooms are spacious and beds feel GREAT TOO!

Hotel wasnt as bad as I thought or what the reviews was saying. But if get a room on the freway side, better have earplugs.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel is in need of a remodel. The bed was extra hard.

Front desk is rude and unprofessional.

The officer manager was super aggressive about my service dog ..federal law protects people with disabilities like myself from such harassment ! I had to show paperwork / service dog I d. To her when by law she is not supposed to ask for it only what services the dog performs. I recorded her rudeness and violation of federal law sending it to the better business berau as well as corporate econo lodge . I've never had such a bad experience I should have got a refund and went elsewhere because she also charged me extra for the service dog !? Again recorded proof sent as a violation of America disabilities act of 1990 .

Turned up to check in, room had been given away after I had fully paid for the room. Told me to contact Expedia as I would get a refund from them then offered me to pay for a different room. Staff very unhelpful, not what I wanted after a 20 hour journey.

This place is absolutely awful! My husband and I went there to spend 3 days in OKC when we got there they didn’t even see my reservation, charged me $30 extra and plus the deposit. When we got to our room the floor was absolutely filthy, there were not any towels and only 3 pillows. My husband and I went to the lobby to get a pillow and towels and had to wait for over 20 minutes while Julie was helping to train a young man. When we got our towel and pillow yes you saw right TOWEL not towels our key didn’t work. We let Julie know she reactivated it so we thought all was good until the key didn’t work again. We go back down to the lobby and there were 3 other guests with the same issue. I told her I did not want to stay the last 2 days and wanted a refund, Julie said that my money would be back on my card tomorrow and to let the lady in the morning know before 11am. My husband and I were in the lobby by 9:45am and let the lady named Rosa know that we spoke with Julie and we were not going to stay the next 2 days. Rosa already had an attitude with me for some reason and I asked her politely my money will be back on the card today, she said rudely no it won’t it takes 7-10 business days so I let her know that’s not what I was told. She then decided that she wanted to get loud with me and my husband let her know not to get loud with me and she told him to shut up. I do not recommend this place at all it should be shut down honestly

Location was a little noisy but it's located off the interstate. Check in was good but check out was a pain. The day person was rude and gave me grief over my service dog. Said that I didn't tell them that she was with me. But I did and I had to show her where I had put it in the notes on the check in roster. I don't think I will be going back to the Brick town OKC location. The room was clean and neat, the bed was decent, air was cold and the shower had extra hot water ( a big plus). In all this place was good just had an bad employee.

The hotel itself was fine but the area around the hotel seemed a bit rundown. Had to travel a distance to find dinner.

The night shift lady was super nice and friendly, the hotel is in a close exit and entry to the i 40 , the room was clean and good

Property was as advertised and close to the venue we were headed to. Enjoyed our stay although the road traffic was heavy and at times loud.

Hotel is run down outside, rooms are ok. Neighborhood is sketchy and a lot of sketchy people hanging around. Toilets in both rooms wouldn’t flush unless you removed the top and pushed the float down. Showers were mostly clean other than a stray hair or two. Hotel requires a $40 deposit over your prearranged price which is sketchy as well. Not recommended if you are traveling with children.

Close to the OU Oklahoma Hospital, 6 minutes away.
