The house and property were wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. There were clean linens, towels,basic cleaning supplies, china and cutlery all provided. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes from a nice central town with things to do and easy accessibility. The hot tub was very relaxing on a quiet night and the house stayed chilled and dark during the middle of July. The host, Kristen, was excellent and very responsive to any inquires and went out of her way to help address a billing issue.I cannot recommend this host and property enough.

Proximity to the river boat ramp was excellant. The property was overall clean and fresh-feeling, although we were dissapointed by the accumuated grime on the outdoor grill and grease in the grease trap which left us with more work to clean than our use necessitated. The arrangement and decor were pleasant and convenient. There were a number of small touches that we enjoyed like firestarters, stocked coffee pods, some books /games and the fresh sponge left out. The hot tub, firepit, screened in back porch with picnic table, and outdoor theater are great features. The link provided with check-in and stay infromation was very helpful, but I would have appreciated a few additional instructions like pointing out the location of the outdoor projector.

Quaint, remote cabin to relax and recharge. It served well for a small family reunion. The firepit and hot tub were great.

We reserved this property for two nights and only stayed for one. Inspecting the cabin we found the following issues:House flies buzzing all around the cabinThe ac window unit’s cord was burnt and inoperableThere was murkiness to the water in the hot tub outsideThe shower inside the cabin bathroom was missing a knob and its curtain liner had visible bacterial growth on itThe outdoor entertainment area was missing its projector and its “outhouse” was unkemptThe cabin’s hot water ran out after only our first shower and did not return for the rest of our stay. This led to our early departure from the rental.Based on our experience, and based on the amount of money we were charged, we feel that whoever maintains this property should have had these cleanliness issues and safety hazards resolved before putting this property on the rental market. We would not recommend this cabin to any guest or family at the present time given its state and its dubious electrical supply condition.
