From the moment we booked the cabin—even before our check-in date—the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. They sent us a detailed message with everything we needed: directions to the cabin, a comprehensive house manual, local activities, hiking recommendations, and so much more. I’ve never experienced such an organized and thoughtful introduction to a place—it saved me from having to do all the research myself.The hosts were incredibly friendly and just a message away whenever we needed anything. As a lovely surprise, they even left us a welcome gift of wine and chocolate.Now, about the cabin—it’s absolutely stunning, unlike anything I’ve seen before. Just like the photos, it’s cozy and rustic, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. Outside, there’s plenty to enjoy too: a hot tub, grill, hammock, and a variety of outdoor games thoughtfully provided.I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be returning for another trip to recharge and reconnect with nature.

What an amazing space! Gorgeous location. Clean and so well equipped. The hot tub and deck were just what we were looking for, could not have asked for more. The hosts were quick with communication and so accommodating. And the gorgeous birds! We had to look up species on our phones (good news the wifi was great) as we couldn’t name so many cool kinds. So happy to find such a gem, wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin is beautiful and well appointed! We saw wildlife just outside the door and the hot tub was perfect after a day of Nordic skiing at nearby Eldora. We would love to return during the summer to wet a line in Boulder Creek which is a stone’s throw from the back deck!

Wonderful cabin in the woods experience! Creek nearby at bottom of the hill, had a nice time on the decks with the gas fed fire pit and grill, and grassy knoll area and hammock were great for the kiddo. The smore sticks and AC unit were nice touches too.

And they had everything we needed to play in the over knee deep snow to include a sled and snow shoes. The cabin was an absolute dream to visit and we want to return yearly for our anniversary. The host has this place FULLY EQUIPPED for all your needs from blow dryers to chop sticks to Tupperware and a sled. The hottub was perfectly set and ready for our use and the fireplace was ready to light. 100% recommend.

The cabin had everything we needed to have a very relaxing stay. Although the weather was not as cool as anticipated we still enjoyed the heated floors on the main level. Multiple decks to enjoy the Colorado outdoor experience. Nice, mostly flat grass covered yard to keep your dog exercised. A little far away from things to do but we were there to relax and unwind.

We spent a long weekend at this cabin in the woods. It was exactly what we wanted! Everything as advertised and then some. We packed way too much extra stuff as this place had it all already! We would love to come back and enjoy this place again. The hosts were excellent at communicating and staying in contact as needed. The hot tub on the deck next to the bird feeders is where we spent most of our time! We did some light hiking around the cabin as we loved the cabin so much we didn’t really leave

The property was all that the description lived up to. Very clean and the amenities were all first class! The day we checked in it started snowing and didn't stop for 48 hours!! 53 inches of snow later we had been snowed in for 3 days! Luckily, we never lost power and the Starlink internet worked great during the entire ordeal. The host worked with us the best they could and made sure that we got out as quick as possible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Beautiful place nestled up the hill from a wonderful stream flowing through the mountains. It’s private, yet open. So open. The windows are AMAZING and let in so much light. It’s a great way to wake up in the primary king bed. The heated floor and living room are cozy. It was just turning cool so we didn’t use the wood burning stove but the house stayed comfortably warm! We went into the hot tub morning and night. The birds would visit at the bird feeders. The fire pit up on the porch was beautiful and warmed us up if we were outside (and shockingly not in the hot tub). The nearby train tracks added nice touch, while only coming with a little background noise. A wonderful place to stay and relax!

This cabin has everything you can think of needing while away from home. Nice getaway. You can be as active as you want to be - or not. We went hiking nearby, played the giant Jenga in the yard, spent time in the hot tub, and around the fire. They have bird feeders right outside the living room windows that are always busy. We also saw a bear!

This is a stunning property, with everything you need to completely relax in the woods. When we arrived, we were greeted by a group of turkeys just walking by, what a nice surprise. The house is very well appointed, very clean, and so incredibly cozy. The log cabin really lent itself to our stay as we used the wood stove and played cards by the fire. The host has an online guidebook that makes it a breeze, super slick. We will be back, thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It is everything it looks to be online and more! Clean, very organized....outside hot tub and deck were wonderful. This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings having coffee. There are bird feeders right outside the living room window, and we loved watching all the birds and chipmunks. The cabin is not far from town. We will definitely stay here again!

This cabin was very clean and had everything you could need. Be sure to look at the floorplan, the upstairs is an open loft with no door/privacy to below. They provided us with eye masks which helped with the light! I thought you could get into the water but the hike down is far down and steep with no steps etc. We had to scoot down on our bottoms and hold onto trees. The water was beautiful and had a lovely sound. You can not see it from the cabin. The cabin looked bigger in the photos but was enough for us. The patio and grill was nice! We were excited to see a lot of birds and chipmunks! The hot tub was big! There are set back neighbors on both side but we only saw one car going out. Very peaceful and quite.

This cabin was warm, comfortable, well-appointed and extremely clean. The eclectic decor has a sixties or seventies vibe. We spent five nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. We have rented places that cost twice as much per night that we were not as pleased with. We would not hesitate to recommend this house for a getaway! The owners were responsive to any/all communications. They are great hosts!

Absolutely LOVED staying at this property. The host was informative and easy to contact with any question's or concerns we had. The property had everything we needed and more, including some dog supplies for our pets stay. Everything was clean and fresh smelling. No old musty smells like some cabins tend to have. There were labels for item locations, brief instructions for gadgets, and a house manual for all other more complex items. 10/10 would recommend to stay here if you are considering this property in the least bit.

This place is straight out of a fairy tail. Log cabin in pristine, super-clean condition. Ideal setting on the mountain, but make sure you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle! Hosts were tremendously thoughtful and generous, providing me with all the info I needed (even without me asking). I would 100% stay there again. It's a destination stay.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Excellent communication with the host. The home was beautifully maintained and labeled for ease of use. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. The view of the stars from the hot tub worth the trip alone.

We had the most amazing experience at this cabin. The cabin was beautiful and there was a ton of fluffy snow to play in. The hot tub was awesome and the beds were comfy. Also, we loved how everything was labeled for us in the cabin. It was the perfect vacation.

The reviews don't lie! We've stayed in multiple VRBO and other short-term rental properties over the years and this one was, by far, the most accommodating. The hosts provide everything you can imagine to get your trip off to a successful start, especially in the kitchen! We felt right at home the moment we stepped foot inside. It's beautifully designed, smells fresh and new, cozy and extremely quiet. We are a family of four: 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 11 and 9 and stayed for a week. It was a perfect fit. My favorite part was the ability to open the French doors in the morning and evening, and walk freely from porch to living room as needed, with coffee in hand and enjoy the crisp, cool air even in July! And the hot tub was in perfect working order and divine. This is such a dreamy cabin for a romantic getaway or for a family of 4 like ours. This is the ONLY home where I can truly say you don't need to pack all the extras for. They have thought of everything from the moment you arrive. We would love to return someday!

I surprised my lovely wife with a romantic and cozy weekend celebration of our 22nd wedding anniversary, and this BEAUTIFUL cabin was the PERFECT place! OUR VRBO hosts, Jed & Damaris, have provided everything guests will need to feel welcomed and right at home. Their attention to detail is unmatched—they have hooks in all the right places, big soft towels, the most amazing outdoor blankets for snuggling up around the beautiful firepit, a perfectly situated and relaxing hot tub amongst the charming bird sanctuary that is their towering pine trees, easy to light wood stove, and comfy modern furnishings throughout. Forgot your games? No worries, they have some. Need a TV tray? BOOM. They’ve got ‘em. Wish you could dry your wet swimsuit before you pack it? Pop it in the dryer! And everything is so beautifully labelled! Everything. Makes anything you may need so easy to find. Again, PERFECT! We had an absolutely marvelous time and so look forward to booking with them again and again, next time with friends! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Jed & Damaris! P.S. They are very fast at answering back with any questions you may have once you arrive. We felt very well cared for. Grateful.

My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend in Black Hawk after work brought us to Denver for the week prior. The cabin was truly special and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is comfortable, well appointed, and thoughtfully decorated. Our hosts used Hostfully, which is a platform that is essentially a manual for everything in the house (entry code, thermostat, fireplace instructions, how to use the grill, etc) and it was wonderful. Jed and Damaris were also very accessable and checked in throughout our stay. Honestly one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. We'll be back!

Jed & Demaris have done an absolutely amazing job with this property and making things as easy as possible for you to enjoy your stay. From all of the cabinets and drawers being labeled with what is inside them to the website they have with FAQ's for the property and instructions on how to use all of the amenities (and more), you can tell that they have went above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The property itself is breath taking. I was surprised at how loud the roar of the water was from the creek below. It was almost as if you were staying near a beach and was so relaxing while laying in the hammock. The property is also very private even with the near by houses, the elevation differences and trees made it so we really felt like we were secluded from the world. The property was very clean and all amenities were in working order. If you're looking for a place to get away and relax (while still being close enough to major cities to explore if you want to) this is the perfect place for you!

Beautiful location, gorgeous cabin, and extremely well equipped! The owners have thought of everything with countless amenities. Even with a few minor issues, the owners were very responsive and addressed the problems. Highly recommended — can’t wait to go back!

If you want to stay in the mountains I can't stress enough that this is the right choice. The cabin was as listed with everything needed and working. The location is great... one hour or less to Red Rocks, Boulder, Denver, and about one hour and 20 minutes to Estes Park/RMNP. It was Soooo Nice to come back for a hot tub after a day to one of those places. Jed is an excellent communicator with spot on instructions. Lastly, if the total price with fees is a little out of your price range, figure out a way to cut from your other expenses and book this cabin. It has everything you'll need and is worth it. Thanks again Jed and family!

I would highly recommend this cozy cabin for your next Colorado getaway! It has all the amenities of home and more. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. We loved that there was a pack n play and kids eating utensils. The hot tub was perfect and the views were amazing. Nice and close to Nederland which has our favorite pizza place (crosscut) and coffee shops and a grocery store.
I would highly recommend this cozy cabin for your next Colorado getaway! It has all the amenities of home and more. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings having coffee. There are bird feeders right outside the living room window, and we loved watching all the birds and chipmunks. The cabin is not far from town. We will definitely stay here again!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and the location was tranquil. It is up in the mountains so 4x4 or all wheel drive is needed in the winter. The hosts thought of everything you might need in the cabin. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus!!! The hosts are easy to get in touch and keep you informed of everything during the whole process! We will be back!!!

From the architecture and the furnishings to the scenic views, this was an amazing weekend getaway! The bird feeders near the hut tub were the perfect touch, and the home is perfectly decorated with everything we needed. Nederland is a 10 minute quick drive, where we had plenty of shopping and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave, and we will definitely be back!

This house was the perfect wilderness retreat for our family of four and dog! The views are spectacular and the sound of the river flowing behind the house was so peaceful! I loved having my coffee and watching the birds at the feeders. The dog loved having a yard area to play too! We had day trips to Breckenridge alpine coasters, Rocky Mountain National Park, Georgetown Railroad and white water rafting. We even went to see a concert at Red Rocks. Coming home each day to the hot tub was the best! Nederland was only a 15 min drive and was the cutest little town to eat and grab groceries. Couldn’t have asked for more in a vacation rental!

The entire cabin is so well and thoughtfully designed and decorated. So many extras provided with guest’s needs in mind. Communication was excellent. This was our second stay. Last time was a summer stay. This stay we experienced early spring - a beautiful snowfall and the wood burning stove which was perfect Literally can’t give enough praise
