Holiday Inn Brookfield - Milwaukee by IHG

Our stay was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations in every way. What truly made our experience special, though, was the incredible staff. Every person we encountered was kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. A special thank you to Kristen, who went above and beyond with her kindness and exceptional service. She upgraded our room, was always friendly and helpful, and even surprised us with brownie ice cream after we had a disappointing experience at a nearby restaurant. Her thoughtfulness turned a difficult moment into something memorable. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so sincere. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so relaxing and unforgettable. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

Needs upgrades

We did not have hot water (just above room temp was about as much as we could get for either shower) or even in our sink to wash our hands; I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub and when we got on site it was caution taped off and not able to use. The room was cold even when we turned the heat up to 71/72 degrees. The TV remote did not work unless you were standing directly in front of the TV, you could not use it from the bed at all. We had breakfast at the iHOP and the staff there were very slow and very little acknowledgement to customers when they walk in the door even with staff standing/walking right by them (very cold, in my opinion), food was sub-par (meat came out cold, hashbrowns were not very good and the eggs were almost water-like runny). Unfortunately, we did not have time to wait to send back our food and ate it anyways. The only staff we interacted with was check in staff and she was very nice and quick with check in. I have zero complaints about the staff. The only issue I would have about direction from staff would be when she directed us to our room, she gave directions as if we knew the property (never stayed before) and when I asked about parking, she said to park anywhere. Again, I was asking about closest door to our entrance, elevator(s) or room.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and comfy. I like the microwave and fridge being in the room! There is an AppleHop (ihop and Applebees combo) onsite if that’s your jam. I actually added a night to my stay because it was affordable and close to my events.
