Howard Johnson by Wyndham Houston Heights Downtown

The staff and management are not helpful at this location. I’m mistakenly booked for the next Saturday when I arrived on the 16th. I booked thru hotel.com and even though I took a room for the 16th they told me they could not cancel and give me a refund for the mistake booking on the 23rd. I was told by the front desk to contact the manager to discuss a refund. For two days I’ve not been able to get anyone to answer their phone to discuss. Customer service is nonexistent at this location even though I have stayed here for years. I will never stay here again.

Clean safe and good value for money

Room was clean. Very small parking lot. Breakfast was only 2 muffins coffee machine and fruit. Staff was friendly.

Not much breakfast

Building -Not as pictured online. Dirty. Late check in due to unclean rooms. No actual pillows provided- just small Decorative pillows. Large gap under door allows bugs in- generally very unclean and an unsafe area. Do not stay here
